Hi Joey, just wanted to say you're killing it man! And I really hope youre doing ok? unfortunately due to work commitments im unable to watch some of you're videos and im miles behind but reading between the lines seems like youve had it pretty tough recently its great to see youve not let it grind you down and you keep pumping out great videos. Keep your head held high buddy and keep the content coming, We as viewers all appreciate it and we're here for you all the way. You're videos have personally helped me out in the past and im greatful for that. I was wondering if you could share some advice, i have a breading pair of Electric Blue Acara, if you have any information on how to care for the fry it would be greatly appreciated
What happened to that email you used to have as a contact info or was I imagining that? My work place had loads of food grade buckets and I have no stamps! (But you have a truck)
Haha I remember you collecting the rocks for the goldfish and explaining why it wouldn't be good if everyone started taking rocks like you did. I've been here for a long time. Thank you for teaching me so much Joey
Omg . I remember that too. Haha . Oh god that is hiw it all started the goldfish tank is what got me in to watching him.. oh I love that photo in your PP of the gecko is that your gecko?
Oscars are awesome, I had a Red Tiger Oscar for a few years and he was definitely a favorite of everyone that saw him. Their personality and the interaction with them made him feel like more of a real pet than any of my other fish
Joey the Oscar that you have Red Tiger that was most of the time at the right side of the tank is just stunning with that fantastic red, very beautiful fish.
The gold fish tank was so cool, I'm so glad u are remaking it in a slightly different twist. I loved that tank so I'm really excited to see what it looks like in the future too
oscars will always decorate as they see fit lol. Beautiful Endlicheri i had one that got to two feet before i had to move and give her away, Oscars and Bichir are my two favorite fish to keep.
My Oscar's never tried to destroy my tank, but I did get them when they were babies, less than 3 inches long so they went from a blank glass tank to a fully scaped tank.
I really like these kinds of videos, just you talking calmly in the background about your passion while seeing the gorgeous animals and tanks. It's something so calming about it :)
I think it looks amazing ... plus at the end of the day the only thing that matters is that you like it. Everything you do is just aquarium gold. Love this video 👍 🙏
I just recently battled sunken belly/wasting disease with my Oscar. Had to remove him several times and tube feed him medicated food. He's finally better now. That was a stressful 2 months. Have you ever done similar treatments?
I remember when you got rid of the goldfish, you said you would get them back when they grew. I waited for so long because the goldfish tank was my favorite that you've ever done. ive always wondered what was your idea for getting them back, and where are they now?
Hey Joey I just got a oculus quest 2 and was wondering instead of a irl tour you can maybe do a virtual tour with a virtual reality headset?? People that do have vr?
I like it. Not a fan of oscars, but this decor works well for them and could be used for a lot of cichlid tanks. Personally I would have used finer sand, which I prefer in most of my tanks, but I can accept your reasoning for the gravel.
Thank youbfor sharing the progress, Oscars are probably my most favorite fish i am not able to keep...would love to have a huge aquarium lile that, thank you so much for sharing and letting me live vicariously through you...lol wish oscars stayed as small as angelfish...lol such a fun wet pet..
Hi and thanks for the video. I would like to buy a 7 foot tank x 3 foot to keep American cichlids. Do you think I should have 2 fluval X6 canisters plus a tidal hang on the back filter just for added filtration or do you think this is too much? I am new to this game. Thank you.
Hey Joey you're the best bro I've learned alot by watching your videos.I plan to do a tiger Oscar tank in the near future. But I will only be able to setup a 75 gallon.I know these fish grow very big but will I be able to safely house one sole Oscar in the 75 gallon permanently?
Thanks for the feed back! As mentioned previously though, i wont be doing anything i dont believe in when it comes to my fish. I'll do what has worked for me for 20 years instead. I have buckled to the pressure of comments way too many times and each time, my fish ends up dead. Sorry, but i got it from here.
Hey Joey, awesome set up. I have a 125 with albino Oscars and a few other S.American Ciclids and currently have sand as my substrate and I am wanting to get away from sand and seen that small sized gravel you're using and I'm wondering what mm size gravel is it that? I'm down here in the lower 48 so I don't think I can get my hand on the same brand you usebut pretty sure I can find the same size.
You can use pea gravel and small rock and stone. Lowe's and Home Depot use to carry 3-5 mm size pea gravel, and she was fine with it. They make for lovely scapes. I used a mix of both with sand for differing levels of scaping. You just have to remember that Oscars like to scoop and spit, and also they like to throw tantrums, rearrange, and throw their rock and stone around, and a lot of the time, it will be straight at the glass. So be sure your glass can hold up to a beating. My Oscar would throw her rock and stone in the middle of the night and wake me up, so I had to move to larger sizes that she could not move. She would then just dig around the rock after that. Unfortunately, I lost her a year ago when she jumped out of her tank in her excitement for feeding time and broke her back. I do miss having an Oscar, I just haven't had the heart to get another since. I hope this helps a bit. Good luck and enjoy your scaping journey!
Hi Joey, as you seem to really know what your talking about would a tank size of 70 inch (1800mm) x 17.5 (450mm) x 17.5 (450mm) work for an Oscar tank and if so how many and what to keep with it?
Joey with a cup of joe; Fired Up way to start the day. Wow your Oscars are getting stunning. Awesome scape, look forward to seeing the Oscars in their new home with puffer and bichiar

Whats the name on the bishop fish? Cant find it on Google😅

@@JPsPetNation no it isn't my gecko.
Currently I do not have any geckos because of exams but I will definitely be getting some after my exams
@@ibrahimwadood5995 oh I see I hope they go good for you and you pass them
@@JPsPetNation thanks 😊
Oscars are a great choice to greet the visitors. They're like a pack of puppies when someone shows up.
indeed! Which is why they had to be first! haha
Im still watching years later, love when Joey uploads. Its a good day.
Oh I agree the red stands out so much on their black body don't you think?
My favorite video of Joey of all time is the 360゚ goldfish video I remember that tank for sure
Can you do a Timelapse of the Oscar’s moving things around in the tank?
You may want to add some sand substrate to this tank. The puffer likes to bury in the sand to “chill”
The gallery needs a fancy goldfish aquarium, it just does.
It really does . But I think it he to hot in their to habe them
He's been promising goldfish are coming back for years.
@@gizmospazz that is true m u really don't think he wants to do it
@@JPsPetNation
Nope. I don't think it's a high priority for him.
@@gizmospazz oh definitely not on his to do list any time soon
The gold fish tank was so cool, I'm so glad u are remaking it in a slightly different twist. I loved that tank so I'm really excited to see what it looks like in the future too
The colors on the oscars are amazing 👏 😍
vibing the calm and chill energy in this video
Nice oscars there and i had also just setup my 2x tanks as well cheers all aquatic friends
Looks awesome. Now I have to have to go home and change the rocks around in my Oscar tank.
That goldfish aquarium was the first time I saw your channel. It was, wait for it, absolutely stunning.
I LOVED this video. The way you filmed the fish, and watching you do the scape... it was relaxing. I am looking forward to watching this tank grow!
oscars will always decorate as they see fit lol. Beautiful Endlicheri i had one that got to two feet before i had to move and give her away, Oscars and Bichir are my two favorite fish to keep.
The reimagined gallery has inspired me to get back into tanks. Gunna take a crack at salt water with a similar self built in tank sump !!
Back to back videos ayyyy 😌
It's looking magical in that fish room
Love this set up.specially Oscar I love Oscars.
Love this setup. Where did u get the rock matt and rocks from.
Thanks for the video
My Oscar's never tried to destroy my tank, but I did get them when they were babies, less than 3 inches long so they went from a blank glass tank to a fully scaped tank.
Found this video very relaxing!
I love the red in the Oscar's. The look so killer.
Awesome tank for oscars. So intriguing to see the reaction of fahaka & bichir

Dude that gold fish tank ...... I feel like re-watched your old videos
I intentionally put loose substrate in my Oscar tank and let him do whatever he wants..It's cool to see how he rearranges the tank.
Great job joey. That red in the Oscars is absolutely gorgeous. And boy, ty-Rees has really grown xxxxx
Does aqua decor sell just the rocks or they come with backgrounds?
Favorite of your recent videos, nice and simple everything was well explained. Please make more like this!
I really enjoy ur stuff thank you for makeing my day
A very good upload. Nice and calm. 😊👌
I enjoy this more “chill” Joey. ❤️
Sir Which kind of water do you use for your aquarium hard water or soft water
Ooooo fancy… never heard of these ‘mats’ but they look pretty damn sweet.
Beautiful tank! Thank you for the subtitle. 👍🏻
How do you get their color to pop like that? 😍
Всем привет с разводни аквариумных рыбок из Ташкента 🖐️
I love Oscars. They're so friendly and fun.
Thanks Joey! 🐟
Great tank and very awesome fish !🙂👍🏻
Outstanding scape as per usual Joey
This is perfect timing! Trying to get a single oscar tank setup myself!
Best tank, i would say.

Oscars would keep the tank cloudy all the time 🤔
@@philipellis1865 Not sure they would. I have kept big cichlids (though not Oscars) with sand just fine. Perhaps it depends on the sand.
Cool looking Oscar tank
great job joey

What is the substrate you used called? Would love to use it for my Oscar tank
Who else chuckled when Joey said "Won't have to change it"?
Looks good and I think it's better to scape the the tank in a way that the fish will enjoy it. Makes them so much more fun to watch
I was just watching your videos from 8 years ago !
Beautiful
Hello should i keep 2 or 3 oscars on 90gallon tanks with good filtration?
Love your vids
Could u think of a way in customizing a top tray filter
Awesome! I love it Joey. The Oscar’s are the center of attention so simple is great 👍
Awesome , it will be nice too see you on the 30th of October

Great job 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 fantastic
so cool! oscars are pretty damn awesome.
Those rocks are cool
Don’t use small gravel for bichirs, they inhale food off the bottom and impaction is a real concern.

Joey: I like to keep things basic
Me: seeing the 2000 gallon 😳🤣
I want to use that mat where can I get one pleaseeeee I neeed one!!!
I’d love to have oscars one day
Floating plants could work maybe?
Looks so nice! Gone the premium channel for early views!
I bury the root structure of my plants under large rocks in my Oscar hotel
Once those large boulders went in, I thought of a tumbled drystone wall.
Could some of those artificial branches work here?

Happy fish , happy Joey , love those big beautiful Oscars . ❤️ 🤗
I LOVE MY OSCAR!
For the substrate, small enough granules so if they accidently eat it, they can poop it.
Hey Joey! This looks like another feather in your cap. Haven't commented in a while, but man, you've come a long way.
Hour Gang hahaha love the Oscar Tank
