Daigos mechanics and technical skill are amazing. He’s the cleanest high level player. And makes his characters operate like ballet dancers. Just wish he could close more fights in the last few years. Daigo is still top in my book.
Daigo is the best long set player in the world, proven by their kemonomichi set , but in short sets in sf5 gimmicks catch him off guard , not saying the demon was a gimmick tokido deserves it but in a long set i think it would still be heavely in daigo's favor
At 2:24, Tokido is basically hit confirming raging demon. Notice how his CA is full when he uses vskill. His plan is basically; if vskill kick whiffs because he's crouching, kara-cancel into demon, if it hits, confirm into DP. The only defense against that setup is stand block, which will cause the vskill kick to be blocked and like -13. Easy punish then!
Surprising tokido as the rival respect daigo more than the internet trolls pissing on daigo. And this is not one sided match, daigo has been improving since the start of sfv.
I think he's still a strong zoner. Plus they only notable nerf is a button who's hitbox reaches further than the 3d model and a easy offensive tool for a zoner. It's a surprise that it was even like that for 3 whole seasons.

U do realize that u can interupt them by challenging? If u get throw by akuma multiple times simply means you been guessing wrong, which is part of playing the game
Corner throw, shimmy, corner throw, shimmy. corner throw. That's what i considered the loop. Implement a 3.5 sec duration where you cannot throw your opponent again after a throw if he/she cannot move backward on the screen.
Not sure about you but watching Punk's Karin, Oil King's Rashid, Tokido's Akuma doing these kind of cheap tactics doesn't excite me as much as watching people like Smug's G, Bonchan's Sagat, Sako's Menat among others winning without resorting to these tactics.

No character has true throw loops anymore, not even in the corner. You can challenge Akuma's walk up/dash up with a quickrise 3/4 frame button.
