Because I always see that one picture of her laughing, and then I am happy. Like the cat she clearly noticed the owner in the vid, and then could feel closer to him/her. It's just lovely.

It broke my heart 💔and, of course, I started to cry. I cry anytime I see any animal that was thrown away or left somewhere. One year ago I had to put my 16yr old shi-tzu. It wasn’t my time (I’m sure it’s never time for loved ones)but I knew it was time for him, he was blind and he was losing his hearing, but he still ate twice a day. I will never forget that day, having to leave him there. Now he is in a tiny ceramic bottle on my dresser, along with a tiny purple ceramic circle with his paw print. He was my best friend and I would, without doubt or hesitation, help any animal that’s hurt or lost.

Love Never Fails. Every time I see an act of selfless kindness, I cry. This is why...I was going through some old pictures and found one of me a few hours after I was born. I wasn't placed in the room where the other newborns were, understandably so. I was born with a cleft in my face that went through the top of my mouth. I was unable to swallow formula and it would go down the wrong way making it hard to breathe. So, I had asperation pneumonia often. I did have my first operation at three months old, but it required many operations over time. I know mother was there but not very often as my biological father was either in prison or, when he was out of prison, he would be "running around" so he was never in my life. Being in a room alone the day I was born is what defined me in most of my younger years.
The earliest I remember in the hospital was at Henrietta Egleston Hospital (Now it's call Children's Healthcare of Atlanta) was when I was about three years old. Mother only visited once as she was working. Somebody there gave me a toy Doctors kit. Somehow I got to thinking that if I could get the other kids well with my doctors kit, we could go outside and play. I was all over that hospital saying hello to the other kids there. The next day, I did the same thing. The last room I visited was a little boy in his hospital bed with tubes and wires, he looked so sick. His mother was there holding his hand. She told me that her son was very sick and wouldn't be getting well. I went back to my room and cried myself to sleep. His room was empty when I passed it a couple of days later. I was heartbroken. I cried because I couldn't get him well. I didn't tell this to many people in my life but that has been on my mind a lot lately. I never knew if that little boy got well, or passed away. I also shed tears for him, even after all these years. I am not posting this for pity of myself. But that it taught me compassion, for everyone. Even hungry and neglected animals. I just wanted those that know me to know something about why I am the way I am.....This is from one of my posts on Face Book

The boy who comforted his “opponent” in the baseball game has made me cry several times. I believe that was a team from my state of Oklahoma. My boys played football and baseball. My son who is in the army now was a pitcher and catcher in little league and high school. I have a soft spot for baseball as all of my boys played that and of course some were better than others. It was so sweet watching them work to better each other. Also all the animal videos got me. I have 4 dogs including my service dog and when i have to leave him home he is talking and jumping around out of joy when I’m only gone an hour. I don’t know if he could handle much more.

When my mom was in hospital knowing that she was on her death bed, this occur to me at 12:57am while I was sitting in my mother lounge chair at home as her dog came up to me bashfully, tears in her eyes wimpering as she crawled into my lap where we consol each other for good 10 minutes. This was interrupted by a phone call. "Yes" it was the expected call I was waiting for, that my mom has passed in her sleep. 10 MINUTES AGO. 😢

I’m so sorry for your loss, and you are so right, animals do sense emotions and they let you know. I was an only child, but I was lucky enough to have my cousin who was just 6months older than me and she had 2 brothers. We did everything together, especially when we were teens, we drove our parents crazy🤪 In 2004 I lost my mom very suddenly at Christmas, her birthday was December 18th, which was the day of her funeral, she was 69yrs old and my best friend. My cousin (we actually call each other sisters) was by mine and my fathers side through everything. 1 week after my moms death, my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died 5months later and my sister was also with me the entire time. I sold the house and moved in with my sister and her family in October 2005. It was an hour north of where I lived. With Christmas approaching I didn’t want to celebrate it. I told them not to buy me anything. Everyone opened their gifts and I went back to my area. They called me downstairs where I was gifted with a big white pillow, then something in the middle moved and it was then I realized it was an 8week old Shi-tzu puppy. They wanted to get me something to love and needed. If it wasn’t for my little Jonah I would not be here now. Every time I was having a bad day he would come right to me on my bed and he wouldn’t leave my side. Even if I was quiet, he would come over and touched my leg with his paw. I had to put him down 1 year ago. He was 16 and I knew I had to. I still cry everyday. I miss him so much. I want to get another dog (a companion dog), but my sister said NO.

@@donnacalderone1115 thanks for sharing, I notice I share same birthday as your mother, the year for me was 1951. My mother birtfday along with my Dad was Dec 22nd also one of my nephews. It was on my mother birthday that she was taking into hospital being weak and unsteady. Dec.24 had pace maker installed and Christmas day were celebrating with her at the hospital.( her 4 surviving children counting me) she lost her husband back in 1985. This when I moved back home to help out with the home. And became her choufer and butler not long after she became 91. Unfortunately on 27th moved into extensive care with failing lungs, respatorie destress was term used, in attemp with ventilator treatment to help restore lungs, but really what was accomplished was week longer, so all of her grandchildren and great had chance to make trips in to visit that is except for great grandchild who regrets for not making the attempt to visit. I was there with my mother and youngest brother when my mother made the decision to stop the ventilator treatment . Doctors honor her decision and moved her to hospice ward, where she pass to respitory failure .age 95. I kept her dog under my wing but in Sept 2021 she develope a sever intestinal infection that requires major surgery that have good chance of surviving but without she propaply pass within next couple days. This was a hard and EXPENSIVE decision but I now have a dog that except me as her companion instead of as a room mate .

7:20 This right here is why I love my people and am proud to call them my brothers and sisters. These women don't have much but will still do everything they can to help others in need. True love and compassion for other life, this is what being Human is all about.

We never see things like this because the media only wants to show things that divide us. They prefer to create strife instead of harmony. If we saw clips like these on the news and social media, inspiration would take on a whole new level.
Thankfully we have channels like this one to *restore* our faith in how truly amazing and selfless people can be.
You are truly doing God's work.
