Kojee, take note. This is how you run a city. Next the MCC should mandate all the buildings in central Monrovia should be painted.

Not just mandates to be painted but painting at the modern International level. Most Liberian do not know how to paint home, all types of funny paintings with funny colourful paint.

Weah and Ellen built, and renovated markets, yet they don't want to go in those markets. The refugee mentality.

It’s hard to accept but it worth it, no development comes without sorrow so truth, every day we compare ourselves with others countries but we don’t know what it took to bring them to that level…

❤ they need to bring this to all the main streets in Monrovia because the whole country is just dirty! The new roads they just fixed at ELWA junction is dirty with trash all on them as if it isn't new. Just sad. We need to do better Liberians.

The broken english that the children speak is a major learning barrier. The best resource in the country is human resource. Physical infrastructure is good, but education, like reading and writing is a good foundation for growth.

Who are you referring to as "Your go home"? Monrovia belongs to ALL Liberians, not for certain group of people.
If you and/ or the government want to decongest Monrovia, then create a second major city in the rural area.
Take, for example, Bong County is border with seven counties and Gbarnga is central of the country and also has a direct route to Monrovia. Therefore, make Gbarnga the second major city.
People will always want to associate themselves with good things, so we all will come and live in Monrovia, our capital city.

What is Darius Weah saying here? Is it the people selling on the street that can buy from them, so government should allow them to come back. You must be joking. In the first place, the street is not a place to sell, so your should not be there in the first place before even asking or suggesting that government should build market places first for street vendors to go before telling them to move. Just take the red light sellers or marketeers as an example despite the construction of a gangatic market at OMEGA , they refused to leave the streets. They had to be forced to leave. What is that? Does everyone have to be in Monrovia. The war is over. People came to Monrovia because of the war. The was is over, your go back and stop congesting the city. We need food , your go back home and make farm to bring food to Monrovia to sell in the market and the not the streets. The streets selling is one of the major reason why the streets are always dirty and drainage are clogged. When the street is congested it also encourages criminal activities, pick pocket, etc. And to catch rogue among densely populated area is difficult because they usually wear more than two to three T-shirts and will quickly take out the first one and blend with the crowd.
Liberia needs a radical leader that is serious for lasting change and forget about the politics of gaining or loosing voters during election time At the end of the day everyone will appreciate the transformation and re-elect you bact to power.

@@rufusjflomo1091 i am referring to those who came to Monrovia because of the war that use to be farmers and the war is over they need to go back to produce food again. Monrovia does not have farm land. They don't have any reason to be in the town doing nothing worthwhile. These are the type of people doing all types of petite business on the streets, putting whole lots of dirt on the streets and building mix shift structures in the alley way, crowding the streets with irregular building, having children that they can can send to school and today some are Zogoes and criminal running all around the place. The best place now to live in Monrovia is not the city but its the rural areas where you can have enough space, clean air, less noise, stealing, less zogorism, and lawlessness. Tradition and custom are strong in these ares so people don't try their nonsense in most of these ares. Monrovia have now become a dump site for all kind of
      Bull rag.

The Problem is challenging for both the government and street hawkers. Liberia is overwhelmingly congested, and there are no adequate facilities for the alternative to support the livelihood of these victims. There should be free education, and an improved marketplace to accommodate these people who are only doing their best to survive. The ax is enormous, so the government can slow the process by creating these measures to secure the changes. The youth should be sent to the farms, construction, and some form of education or skills besides selling. They need to dialogue with the youth for transparency.
