I have been doing ba duan jin after his training video published 2020 or so, some time before shi heng yi became seriously popular. Since daily practice, my spine trouble has all but disappeared, my breathing has improved massively and my mind has become 1000 times clearer. self discipline that led to renewed self worth, deep darkness dissipated. And still, i feel like i am learning more self control every day, learning new aspects to the ba duan jin, stance movement balance breathing.... learning new things about body and mind, about life, daily. It has inspired me to live properly again. I understand this video, honestly i found the sudden popularity difficult to see, but am eternally grateful for the inspiration. ☯ hoffentlich irgendwann am Otterberg, Shifu.
I was curious about these training movements, ba duan jin, I will get into that. I have spinal issues as well, scoliosis and such, appreciate your sharing.
These practices are life transforming. Stick with them. I practiced daily a variety of practices, meditation, the 5 Tibetan rites, breath work, yoga. Long story short I was going through some struggles and for some reason stopped all my practices after ten years of daily practice and being in excellent mental, physical and spiritual health. I slowly fell back into extreme anxiety, depression and my health took a turn for the worse. I have been back at it for only a month and my mental state, my breathing and health is already improving. This time around I will never stop these amazing practices and will practice daily the rest of life. Best of luck to you, and best of health. 🙏.

I watched every episode of KunFu with David Carradine. I was not physically able to do the training of the body. I was able to learn to meditate from a book titled the three pilars of zen. I kinda felt badly for him because that is a heavy, enormous weight to carry ...as I've seen him as a normal human who is an empathetic, sensitive soul and who has worked excruciatingly hard in his life....to overcome and succeed...and who's wise nature comes from processing through a myriad of tough and lonely experiences ...I always want to hug him. Aside from his gorgeous looks and movements, he's a beautifully imperfect human walking the Earth with us and doing his best every day to show himself and the world a way to peace and health. I’m so glad he was born and became the normal person that he is...I wish I could help him more.

Master Shi Heng Yi has helped me stay on the right track. Keep myself out of trouble. I understand he is just human on his personal journey like the rest of us. But the wisdom he carries and shares with us has been passed down and perfected over the span of many generations. He also has the ability to communicate ideas that people have but don't know how to convey them. With darkness looming over our world his wisdom and philosophy has the chance to counter that shadow. I hope Master Shi Heng Yi is becoming more comfortable with his rising influence. With great power comes great responsibility. I'm so thankful to the Universe that it has recently given me an opportunity to find Master Shi Heng Yi. His wisdom, his deepest wisdom touches my heart every time I watch the videos with the Master. It is somehow so close to me, to my heart, I don't know why! If I had an opportunity I'd love to come to the monastery and to study, to train my physical body and to train my spirit with the Master. I've recently started doing Free physical exercises and I feel a strong effect for my body and especially for my lungs. Only by looking within ourselves do we become aware and follow the eightfold path and awareness of the four noble truths.

I wish for Master Shi Heng Yi that he will find his own Master who can take him beyond his current spiritual state, he speaks and embodies a lot of wisdom but he needs someone to take him even further is what I think.
He is not a demigod, he is a godsend. I'm sure his clarity of mind will help him sift through the increasing celebrity. He will always be deeply rooted in his Buddha heart. He could never become an ego feeder no matter how popular he becomes. How refreshing! God bless the efforts of all the masters, in a world that is so desperately needs their guidance and grounding .

For what it is worth, I stumbled upon your RUclips channel, while going through a very difficult loss. And as I woke every morning and watch the sunrise you as well as other philosophers I listened. And although there is still suffering I feel as if a huge portion of it is absent due to your desire to transmit your beliefs to strangers. As well as I feel I have helped my family through these teachings to damper their suffering. I just want you to know I am grateful for your teachings. And you have changed and influenced my life into a more positive and peaceful way. And I plan on continuing to grow, and help others.

Fascinating and interesting to see how Shi Heng Yi keeps himself occupied and how his dedicated lifestyle for martial arts and love for his precious motorbike gives him the patience and confidence as he continues his spiritual and down to earth life-journey. Sometimes we can't do anything for the different moods swings it's all associated with the cosmos. The alignments takes a toll on our physical and mental function daily. So if you get a better understanding you can sometimes do more medication to get over it. When mercury is in retrograde I do not do much business dealing I have tried and it do not go well as per my experience. So sometimes I have to just ride it out or listen to my inner self what to do. It would be fascinating to ride bike. Just remember you are having a fascinating journey so enjoy every moment of it. Much love to you and I am happy to share in it with you this way. When he says “You have to be both Buddha and demon.”, he means the wrathful aspect of the divinity. Buddha can appear either benevolent or wrathful. An agressive person will see Buddha in his wrathful aspect.

Great Wisdoms!: The Warrior inside - the Monk Outside. Daemon Hand - Buddha's Heart. I would also add: “Cut contacts / relationship to Toxic Narcistic People, even if they are family members” . It is better to have few Good Friends than many “Pretender Frends” that will backstab you at any moment. Don’t use and abuse others BUT it is also your Right to Protect Yourself from use and abuse by others. Another Wisdom I learned Hard Way in my entire Life: “Who has a soft heart, has to have a hard bottom (cause it will get kicked all the time)”. Haha! His most basic exercises had the odd result of improving my ability to focus while painting. To an artist, the most priceless gift of all.

I watched almost every Single video and i learned so much i cant even put in words. I am from germany and this year i am able to join a shaolin workshop by Shi heng yi and other teachers from the Shaolin temple. I am approaching this from the other end. I am a Buddhist who is now in his late fifties and needs to get in shape. If people think of him as a god, they misunderstand what he teaches. Only by looking within ourselves do we become aware and follow the eightfold path and awareness of the four noble truths.

I have been doing ba duan jin after his training video published 2020 or so, some time before shi heng yi became seriously popular. Since daily practice, my spine trouble has all but disappeared, my breathing has improved massively and my mind has become 1000 times clearer. self discipline that led to renewed self worth, deep darkness dissipated. And still, i feel like i am learning more self control every day, learning new aspects to the ba duan jin, stance movement balance breathing.... learning new things about body and mind, about life, daily. It has inspired me to live properly again.
I understand this video, honestly i found the sudden popularity difficult to see, but am eternally grateful for the inspiration. hoffentlich irgendwann am Otterberg, Shifu.
I wish for Master Shi Heng Yi that he will find his own Master who can take him beyond his current spiritual state, he speaks and embodies a lot of wisdom but he needs someone to take him even further is what I think.
Popularity is a huge burden to carry for a true spiritual master. It is one of the traps. So far, he has remained genuine.
He is not a demigod, he is a godsend. I'm sure his clarity of mind will help him sift through the increasing celebrity. He will always be deeply rooted in his Buddha heart. He could never become an ego feeder no matter how popular he becomes. How refreshing! God bless the efforts of all the masters, in a world that is so desperately needs their guidance and grounding .

Sometimes we can't do anything for the different moods swings it's all associated with the cosmos. The alignments takes a toll on our physical and mental function daily. So if you get a better understanding you can sometimes do more medication to get over it. When mercury is in retrograde I do not do much business dealing I have tried and it do not go well as per my experience. So sometimes I have to just ride it out or listen to my inner self what to do. It would be fascinating to ride bike. Just remember you are having a fascinating journey so enjoy every moment of it. Much love to you and I am happy to share in it with you this way. I would also add: “Cut contacts / relationship to Toxic Narcistic People, even if they are family members” . It is better to have few Good Friends than many “Pretender Frends” that will backstab you at any moment. Don’t use and abuse others BUT it is also your Right to Protect Yourself from use and abuse by others. Another Wisdom I learned Hard Way in my entire Life: “Who has a soft heart, has to have a hard bottom (cause it will get kicked all the time)”.
BTW in 2008 I published a book "Wisdom of the Sages and ordinary folks from around the world" but who cares about Wisdom ?
