    Have you guys ever listened to Viikate (Scythe)? Also a finnish band, though not as metal as Moonsorrow, CoB etc. They're more like schlager metal, lol. Here are couple of their most popular songs in case you're interested:
    Oi Pimeys (Oh Darkness): ruclips.net/video/c7OPxuojIuE/видео.html
    Pohjoista Viljaa (Northern Crops): ruclips.net/video/VOViz9KznSI/видео.html

    You should check out Shape Of Despair. Album Monotony Fields. It's very atmospheric Funeral doom.
    Song request from that album

    Next Finnish band you should definitely check out is Kaunis Kuolematon. Their debut album Kylmä Kaunis Maailma is a masterpiece. For the first listening maybe tracks like "En Ole Mitään", "Aamu", "Sieluni Sirpaleet" and maybe "Kivisydän". Thanks!

    Great reaction! Never expected to get a reaction to this song! I just have to mention that the next song(Jumalten kaupunki) on this album, also a superb song if you like this one, they flow into each other perfectly. A relaxing atmospheric winter song :) If you guys end up reaction to it one time, i hope you react to the song with just a cover like this one. These kind of songs can be murdered fast by a horrible music video.
    Keep up the great work! :D

    btw guys, I bet you did not know that main composer of this band, Henri Sorvali works at rovio game studios as a music producer and composer.. all those annoying angry birds musics were most probably produced by him :D

    oh boy, if you're finally going to delve into these guys, you're going to have a good time. Don't expect to pronounce a lot of the names of their songs tho.

  • @bodenlosedosenhose1590
    @bodenlosedosenhose1590 5 лет назад

    I wanted to type down the pronunciation of Unohduksen Lapsi, but it's hard to find an English equivalent to the sounds in the Finnish language. I can only tell you that the emphasis is on the first syllable and that you more or less nailed the word "lapsi".
    By the way: Moonsorrow is my favourite band or at least in my top 3. So awesome to see you react to one of their songs.

    "A forgotten child" or "Child of oblivion" would be suitable translations.

    Man, these guys have so many great songs. I'm not as much a fan of this album as others because of the voice effects and the drum sound, but the actual material is pretty good. I'd love it if you guys checked out something from their last few releases, like Jumalten Aika, Huuto or Kuolleiden Maa (my favorite songs by them) and I think you would, too.

      It's a classic from 2003, when folk metal was just starting to gain ground
