I'm from Philippines. I always see this place in my dreams not knowing it was actually a place in real life. In my dreams, I would walk barefoot in this rich brown soil, oftentimes I would be running & jumping and laughing with children whose faces I didnt recognize in real life. I would also dream of climbing trees. Going in &out of houses with no electricity surrounded by beautiful green plants, mountains and rivers. I have always been fond of humming & my husband noticed it also. He would ask me what song it was that I was humming unconciously & I would just smile & tell him that its not an actual tune of a song, I was just humming or making tunes and singing it out loud to calm my senses. Having to see this video makes me feel so much emotions. I came from a very strict Christian community that does not believe in reincarnation. But you know, there are things that you will start to question once you get older & develop your intuition. I have learned meditation and been practicing it for a couple months that's when the vision & dreams becomes clearer. I would love to visit India someday and hopefully spent a month of so with my partner especially there in Konthong and Tibet. India! Much love from Philippines. Namaste ❤💕
Amazing. Absolutely beautiful village tucked away in the mountains of Meghalaya. Many of us would have missed such precious information if you didn't make this video. ‘Jingrwai Iawbei’- it is so lovely and sweet that I do not have words to describe. The history, the culture of India is so deep-rooted. This is one of the most unique videos I have ever seen. Thanks, Ocean6 Holidays.
Hey i did a research about this and i found something similar even some of the Turkish people have something similar they use whistleing technique for calling people 😮
Today it's 31-07-19 and I am sure you will be glad to read the next few line. "In the zero hour of Rajya Sabha on Tuesday Rakesh Sinha urged the govt for a heritage library & a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage tag for the unique whistle IDs which every child has in Meghalaya’s Kongthong village."
A village is a part of a world clustered human settlement or community, larger than a hamlet but smaller than a town, with a population ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand. Though villages are often located in rural areas, the term urban village is also applied to certain urban neighborhoods. Villages are normally permanent, with fixed dwellings; however, transient villages can occur. Further, the dwellings of a village are fairly close to one another, not scattered broadly over the landscape, as a dispersed settlement.
Why would you make a film about a musical tradition, then have that insipid background music playing while we're trying to listen to the actual point of the story?
So basically, in their tradition my name will be turu ru-ru-ruuu lala la-la-laaa turu ru-ru-ruuu lala la-la-laaa (Dil to pagal hai theme song) Self naming lol...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Meghalaya amazed me alot and attracts me however I am frightened to go there or any other North East states of India as I heard so much that they hate Hindi speaking Indians and kill them. And in Uttarakhand we use Hindi as official language.
I don't know about Meghalaya but have heard about Nagaland. They were originally tribes, no King or Queen of our Mainland India never dared to enter there as if anyone did they used to lose their heads, only when Christianity entered the scene all the bloodshed stopped and now they are like us who respect human lives( A Naga person herself told me this)

Interesting. May be you were from this village in your previous life. These people look like indigenous people of Philippines.
Khublei = Thank you here
Love from India
Don't mistake such dreams as indications of reincarnation which is a myth. We die once. There maybe some other reason and purpose of it.
I'm from Meghalaya
It may be funny for you but not for someone else.It is what we call the uniqueness.✌️
