First, let me say you are AMAZING, and you are my favorite (as the grandkids say). I love both the trees, but the more I look at them the more I like the newest one. First I like the branches going up like nature (praising God). The branches going down look like a tree too weighted down and not very healthy. I love the space in the new tree. The more you look at it, the more it looks like it is loaded with snow. I loved the glitz and glam in the new tree, and the 3-d effect...but I don't see it in the finished product?? Maybe that is just because of my small computer screen.
All in all, they are both so beautiful and stunning. It thrills me to see how God has kept you and blessed you even thru the hard seasons of your life. Thank you for blessing so many millions of people. WOW!

There's an old sayin in house design, "The first one for someone else, the second one for a friend, and the third one, for yourself." Along those lines, you found out what you liked and what you'd do different, on the next one. Although I like the way the first one has it's peices clse together, the openess of the second one looks more natural. I also like how the natural openess reflects the three trees in front of the arched windows! I don't think you need me to comment on the star, but I will - it is stunning!!! High marks from me - and I will be creating a smaller version for myself!😃🎄

I love the second one! It just looks more airy and delicate, and quite symmetrical. I find the first one was nice, but it had too many big chunks of mirror. And the star you created on the second one, just simply breathtaking! You are one creative lady😊

This broken mirror Christmas tree needs to be mass produced for the rest of us! I absolutely LOVE the three dimension star on the second one! I was wondering how to store it without breaking the star...just attach a small cardboard box around the star with lots of tissue paper.

    Rebecca,
I can't help it! I feel like a little child in anticipation of Christmas morning. By the way, I was born on Christmas at 4:00 a.m. in the morning in 1951.
I love Christmas. I decorate all my rooms in the house. Using various themed & size trees, multiple nativity scenes, wreaths, and lights, I go overboard. So, when I make my mirror tree, I'll have close to 100 trees. Yeah!

I like the new one. You could fill those spaces with colored glass . Take crafters wooden ornaments and glue colored glass onto them and attach to the tree spaces. They come in lots of shapes. If you like the monochromatic mirror, just cover the shapes in the left over crushed glass of different sizes.

There are things about both that I love. The old one has a magnificent tree trunk... that curve between the two pieces is absolute perfection! I also agree the spacing is better closer together. I also prefer the overall shape and lines of the “branches” of the first one with a bit less swoop. Clearly the different mirrors make different species of pine with different shaped branches! 😉😂🤣 I prefer the clean cuts but the cracked/tempered effect is good for a snowy, glistening, icy vibe.
The second version has the most beautiful tree topper! Absolutely spectacular! 🌟❄️🌟 I think the three dimensional aspect is also fabulous but I’m not so confident on how long it will last (hot glue vs. grout) and it could pose a storage challenge. You may have to construct a safety cage around it to keep it intact and from littering glass shards about your storage area. Second only to the tree topper, I absolutely love the snow falling all over the canvas! I think it will catch the light beautifully and it’s a great embellishment.
They both are beautiful in their own ways with wonderful attributes and those things we choose to embrace... just as with most things in life! I’m just wondering if you can find a creative way to hide or camouflage the damaged bit on the first one. You can never have too many beautiful Christmas trees in different areas of your home! Excellent job both times! 😍🥰😍
