Ding finding every perfect move from moves 31-40 in time trouble was to remind everyone who the world champ is. Incredibly accurate play to get out of a tight spot!
The fact that Ding can calculate to a draw with just half of Gukesh's time during practically the entire game just makes me wonder what would happen if he actually prepares his first ~12 moves.
Ding is actually going to do it, after all the abuse and mockery he’s gotten over the last year he’s within a whisker of retaining his title. Absolutely amazing to see.
@@johnsmith1474 It appears to be trolling, but you are technically correct. I don't actually know what Agad's motive is, but neither do you (assuming you are not Agad himself).BTW, lighten up, d-bag, it's just a RUclips comment. Here's another emoji just for you😊.
What makes Antoni's podcasts so special is every once in a while I can expect to learn something completely random but interesting that is completely unrelated to chess. Good to know about advantages of long fingers for piano playing =)
excellent attack by gukesh but ding defended well under time pressure..both players are giving their best...but i still think Gukesh should have played any normal move when ding was under severe time pressue and almost crumbled...gukesh thought for some time to find the best move and that gave chance to ding to recover.
Interesting game, well played by both, in spite of some inaccuracies. Gukesh missed exchanging the rook before moving the knight and Ding, I still wonder why he didn't get the b2 pawn. Excellent analysed by Antonio,
I am noticing that Ding and Gukesh only win if they have a clear advantage by mid-game. If they do, they are very unlikely to fail to bring home the win. But it seems to me that neither of them can milk an infinitesimal, even undetectable, advantage to a win. Magnus can, and consistently does! I'm not a fan of Magnus in that he rarely does anything spectacular, but instead he works to obtain some tiny advantage which he enlarges by engine-like precision. You folks who know much more than I do, does this seem like a fair assessment to you? In my own ongoing war with Fairy Stockfish level 5, I have often found that it brilliantly focuses upon the tiniest of weaknesses that I can't even perceive. In many games I have locked the whole board with a trench-like network of pawns facing the engine's pawns, and it seems to me that these trenches can't be broken through without sacrificing a piece. Sometimes it does sacrifice a piece but fails to accomplish anything by doing so, and thereby it converts a draw into a win. But on many other occasions it noodles around for 20 or 30 moves until it comes up with a way to cause my whole network of trenches to collapse, when I had felt my network of trenches was impregnable.
Comparing anyone from this generation to Magnus is futile. The dude is head and shoulders above the rest. IF there is the smallest chance of winning, you better know that Carlsen is going to carve you up.
thank you agad!!! I would really really love to see 1hour of video... especialy a Tall or Bobby one... many are here because of your style...Thank you again
Gukesh kinda blew it here. Dude should have went for more . Now he's got 1 game to play as black pieces... he should have gambled on the game today and went for it.
Til what game is this? Im not a chess fan, dont play chess, just came across chess games by these guys on facebook reels and it got me hook up and now im here everyday waiting for the win 😅 and just found out i have same birthday of the “World #1 Magnus” 😂

Feels like agadmator is not in the mood to review this game...😂😂😂 black's defensive prowess despite complicated situation and time constraints is the best to be highlighted in this game..white was on the roll and a single defensive move by black is crushing..🥰🥰🥰
Sigmund Freud blames lack of eye contact on sexual repression. I blame the church. A tactic from some bad bishop not stopping night moves can result in some forced smothered mate over the board and have nothing to do with chess.
Nope. Not gonna happen. I thought he would go for it today. But he didn't go all in ona victory. Now he's giving ding the white pieces and will lose the match. I hope it's not a draw tomorrow.
Gukesh had so many winning games.. ding wasnt perfect but he perfected the art of defending. Gukesh can pull off some nice attack but always lacks the clear instincts. He relies too much on calculation and therefore chooses some less optimal moves as well. For example that rook trade, he calculated it and thought its same.. but a world champ should know it by instincts that trading should be better in that pos

I don't thing it was in his preparation. Because if you don't know the line that gives you a winning advantage, then something has gone wrong. Even in the previous game, the preparation was bad in the Catalan.

"Gukesh has long fingers and should learn the piano" is exactly the handshake commentary I'm looking for.
I think he should play guitar instead of piano 😂
Irrefutable analysis
I expect nothing less
Long fingers means…good piano skills
😂
is there a real advantage with having a long finger to learn piano ?
Ding finding every perfect move from moves 31-40 in time trouble was to remind everyone who the world champ is. Incredibly accurate play to get out of a tight spot!
One Ding to rule them all.
Honestly at that level it is the expectation but it was what he did before to reach that position makes him vulnerable.
Magnus?
@@dimitriosdoulgeris4659 one ding to find them (draws)
Magnus?
The fact that Ding can calculate to a draw with just half of Gukesh's time during practically the entire game just makes me wonder what would happen if he actually prepares his first ~12 moves.
Ding defends against devastating attacks from both Gukesh and a fly! Amazing defensive effort!
I think now we can understand what hell of a MONSTER Nepomniatchi has faced.
Ding is actually going to do it, after all the abuse and mockery he’s gotten over the last year he’s within a whisker of retaining his title. Absolutely amazing to see.
Great Wall of China it is. What a superb and very accurate moves from Ding with just 10 minutes left.
Whoever said that “a puzzle a day keeps the blunders away” lied.
He also died.
Agad is trolling Magnus again with the above the board quote.😂
That's not trolling. But feel free to just use any word for anything, and end it with and emotiidiotcon.

I think Agad likes the word penultimate because he never misses a chance to use it. It is definitely a cool word
Ding's defense is on Petrosian level 🔥🔥
What a pity for Gukesh - I thought he had that game won.
Ding is a great defender.
Rapport give the file named
Calm before Storm 😂
“Calm in Game 13, storm in Game 14”
First 15 moves Ding burning time.
Next 15 moves Gukesh burning his time.
Ding thought for 37 mins over just move 8, but then Gukesh spent almost 80 mins on moves 11-18.
Dings Ability to find the only defensive option needs to be studied 😂
Absolutely 😂😂😂
Yes I feel kramnik should be the best guy to study him.
I want to see what Rapport cooking for tomorrow, and thanks Agadmator for the round 13 recap 🔥
An important lesson from this game: Always develop your light square bishop as soon as you can cause it's now or never !
Yeah, that bishop was stressing me out!
wrong , not always
Havent seen the game, but the quote is Magnus hyping up Ding. Based on Magnus' Championship predictions this has got to be a Gukesh win
Interesting game, well played by both, in spite of some inaccuracies. Gukesh missed exchanging the rook before moving the knight and Ding, I still wonder why he didn't get the b2 pawn.
Excellent analysed by Antonio,
Penultimate is one of my favorite words! An excellent start to the video. 😊
Them ending on move 69 is just ding chilling and teaching the youngster to do the same.
I noticed Gukesh's hand too! He also has large soulful eyes.
The last 3 games have been so great!

Definitely.

Gukesh has the attitude of a champion and the skill level of a ..... Who knows what...
I think lines like P-F6 that simply were not played are too off-piste. Look forward to your next analysis.
at 23:42 what would happen if white plays Re5 and then Rh5?
king h7 the thing with the other rook move is that it came w an attack on the pawn as well
I would then go Qe4 - check. If e6 then maybe e4 e5. I know its not a clear checkmate but it muddies the waters and might lead to a win down the line.
