I love your style of teaching. So easy to follow. I would love to see one like this that includes an approval workflow before emailing the attachments.
You are my absolute favorite RUclipsr. I always learn so much and you have helped my productivity. Is there a video you have done that explains arrays? They confuse me
Thanks for watching! I haven't done a video on arrays specifically however many of my videos include working with arrays in the flow. Anytime a flow includes an Apply to Each action .. the Apply to Each action is used to loop though an array of items. In the meantime, you might find this tutorial on the Apply to Each action helpful: ruclips.net/video/44Bk4JVMrD4/видео.htmlsi=5Jx4A39eYyuyhcVa
THANK YOU! I was having trouble getting the file content for word documents - the item()?['link'] expression was only working for pdf, jpg, etc. not for word. Your method works perfectly!
Do you have a tutorial on adding form attachments to planner tasks? I've tried following the above (which is great btw) but it doesn't look like its working the same way ...
Thanks for this great tutorial. But on my path when I get the "Get file using path" the flow fails and shows this error messages indicating that 404 and file can not be found in the body. Please help me rectify this issue since its a matter of urgency to my small business processes.
hi again, I did this and worked it out using single file, however, i must have left something out because my file format is not coming across correctly! SOS!
Following your video i can't get the split expression to work correctly, it's not giving me the file extension. Is there another way i can get the code i need to enter for this? your method has helped me get emails with attachments but sadly can't open those attachments due to the extension piece missing.
Thanks for watching. It's hard to troubleshoot in the comment section. If you could provide more details on what the issue is you are having it would be helpful. Are you getting an error? Is the split() function not working? The split() function takes two parameters as described in this section of the tutorial: ruclips.net/video/ijoqOaOkaZs/видео.htmlsi=YPSS7dFAa0oDfu2O&t=1035 Check out this section of the tutorial where I show you how to output the file name in a Compose action: ruclips.net/video/ijoqOaOkaZs/видео.htmlsi=HwI8PvmdhXJUA2WD&t=439 In order to use the split() function, you'll need to ensure you have a file name that includes the extension. You can also reference this section of a different tutorial that covers the split() function: ruclips.net/video/QeBL32w2ClM/видео.html Hope this helps!
@@acreativeopinion Thanks I have managed to get it working by removing the compose entries for the file name. Do you happen to have a video that includes the approve/reject function when the email is sent?
Thanks for watching! I always build my flows with a manual trigger. Saves so much time when you don't need to leave the app! Work smarter, not harder! 😉
The output email recipient is not sending to the email. The flow fails up to the point where the email is supposed to be sent. What is being done wrong?
Thanks for watching. It’s really hard to assist with troubleshooting specific issues in the comments. You need to ensure you are selecting the correct action to get the file. There are two Get File Content actions. Each action requires a different dynamic content to be used to get the file. I would recommend posting in the Microsoft Power Automate Community: powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/bd-p/BuildingFlows
Thanks. Just a tiny mistake and wasted the whole day. The way you emphasized that quotes should NOT be used while appending the contentBytes to array resolved the issue i was facing since the entire day. thank you.
I got error on the second get file content "Action 'Get_file_content_using_path_2' failed: File not found clientRequestId: cf09af94-31c7-45bc-94bc-d3c2d5606408 serviceRequestId: a1233ba1-20db-0000-20c3-c97e961a9f52".
You didn't just answer a question about saving attachments, you unlocked a whole new range of possibilities.
I love your style of teaching. So easy to follow. I would love to see one like this that includes an approval workflow before emailing the attachments.
High quality content! Thorough, yet concise as possible.

Hi instead of using the attachment in the email how do I add the link to view the picture in the sharepoint?
Thank you so much for this video. easy to follow and use.
If you get an error on the "get File content using path" step - make sure this step is inside the apply to each not below it.
Thanks for this great tutorial.

I'm getting the same issue

Excellent ❤
Changing the trigger to manual trigger for testing -> so smart.... I've wasted hours on this.

Can you also please extend this to include the attachment in the Sharepoint list for each submission.

I keep getting an error trying to use ?[0] saying that the expression is invalid. Any help!?
nvm, I should of kept playing.
Is anyone else having an issue with Sharepoint not being able to find the documents? I keep getting a File not found error message on this form.
