What a wonderful representation of the opportunity here in Pittsburgh! Congratulations to the Flippers showcased. Good people with a passion for the communities they serve.

northside and eastside is where you see the craziest gentrification in pittsburgh. there was a lot that went it to this that wont get talked about in this film. its crazy... you wanna benefit these communities then you stop pushing out the people whos families have been there for generations. pittsburgh is a scattered city. a city of two different realities honestly

Major Transformation = Gentrification which is quite bad and as a native living on the west coast it's sad to see the city fall like this.

You can only gentrify if people are being forced out. These homes are all sitting empty and rotting. These flippers are saving communities-that would get torn down.
To the other guy, no prices aren’t soaring, I bought my home 3bd2ba for 32k just 4 years ago. You’re probably just a renter that doesn’t know how to budget.

Pittsburgh fell decades ago, when the steel industry collapsed, and is now rising once again. The population dropped from 686,000 in 1950 to barely 300,000 in 2020, and there are thousands of empty homes. We bet everything on eds, meds, and high tech, and won that bet. Young people are moving back into the city - including young professionals. This is not sad at all, to see a city built on work now working to reinvent and rebuild itself.

@@bonnevillebagger9147 that’s not true out all….. people have been forced out of there homes in many Pittsburgh neighborhoods… look at the NorthSide… Manchester and Mexican war streets the gentrification is the worst I have ever seen. All new people from suburban communities that wanted to “be closer to the city” while all the city kids high schools are being shut down and their landlords raising rent on their families. It’s disgusting honestly
