Found this video in July 2022 and downloaded the idrive app...pressed the upgrade button and was offered a year of idrive for $1. Convert that to GB pounds and I got a year for about 80 pence...not even a pound. Was sceptical it was a con at that price so shall see how it goes. So far my photos upload quickly and the app works well.
I’m having such issues with cloud storage. I purchased idrive. According to my speed test my upload speed is 20mbps. I have 900GB. According to my math that 12.5 hours. But I’m already in day 6 of uploading and still am only at 80%.
I am having a problem with "cloud drive". ....bought Idrive ....still trying to figure this out. ...still unclear on what "back up", vs "Cloud drive". Why is the "cloud drive" on my PC if it is a "cloud" drive? Why do I need both "back up" and "cloud drive". Idrive claims to have live chat.....but option is nowhere to be found. Thanks
Cancelled once due to not being able to just drag files into the cloud independently without having to sync them, or backing up from a particular location. Gave them another chance and had to cancel again due to the sync feature not working. Crap
Never buy idrive. It's engine stopped and windows could not start the idriveservice service on local computer. Error 2: the system cannot find the file specified. I found no solution.
I think iDrive should have a hidden folder or private folder feature like a vault for extra sensitive data. This would make it even better @TheCyberLab
IDrive is terrible and has far too many problems and issues. iDrive does not have flawless performance and it is incredibly SLOW and I have an incredibly fast and good internet connection.

For Privacy, they offer a protective plan for Team + Business. Law firms and Medical offices use iDrive.
Sad that a distinction was made regarding this critical matter & exploited.
