Brilliant interview, Ben and Cole! Probably the best interview of a board game designer I have seen, given the thoughtful, articulate replies to questions. Oath is such an interesting game - we had players jumping up and down and shouting at each other in our first game, and writing the chronicle in the journal afterwards was a blast but of course also models how official history is written by the victors very well. (I have shied away from playing Cole's games about economic exploitation... but maybe I should try those too!)

Very wonderful interview! I love the emphasis on 'play' growing up. Great insight into the idea that kids want to design what they consume.
