In the puppet theatre, in Sicilian language "Opra dei Pupi”, are mainly represented the the stories of the "knights, arms and loves” from Ludovico Ariosto's "Orlando Furioso”, those from Torquato Tasso's “Gerusalemme Liberata”, and from the “Chanson de Roland”.
