LOL@Performance is trash for the money? Hater! One of the greatest cars ever and yeah, it was a beast. Any car that get from 0 - 163 mph in only 21 seconds and go to a 202 mph top speed, is indeed a beast. I could write a novel on that. One word, Nurburgring lap time in 7:14 on street non-slick racing tires. It indeed was a monster. Even in a straight line, despite being 8 years old, it is still faster than 99% of the cars out on the road today. Just saw a stock LFA spank a new Audi RS6 (that was running 11.4 seconds all day) on Bruntingthorpe VMAX 200 Hypermax event.

Totally he teached me the ways I bought a brand new car and as soon as I got it I only kept it in first redlined and used to leave it in the middle of the road because I couldn't afford to put it in reverse. Very great car the engine ran perfect for 50km then seized I've never had a more reliable car probably could've hit 100 but I didn't redline it cold for 10mins while parked :( the lack of airflow would've help warm the engine and everything but I was in a hurry and only did it for 5mins :( R.I.P.

If you read carefully the rental car policies they say that "extra money will be deducted if one does not redline the engine when cold"

Huh, in the bike world 10.5k redline is low. I believe my redline is at around 16,000 and I know some of the older 250 4 cylinders revved to 20,000 RPM. XD

Not even close to being accurate. Motorcycle engines have pistons normally the same size or larger in diameter than that of a typical car engine. The difference is average stroke on a sportbike engine is 35-55mm. Average on cars is 65-85mm. There's your RPM difference because - physics.

I used to drive a 1981 Toyota Celica with a 1st generation 22R under the hood. That's a 2.4l SOHC I4. The stock redline was 5,500, but I repeatedly heard my mechanic telling me that with stronger valve springs and a racing cam, in could get up to 10k without breaking.
I kept my engine stock and it didn't test that theory.
