ok first things first, I'd like to say hi to my voice instructor if she's watching this and hope she enjoys it. She founds my channel while I was making this cover, so I hope she enjoys my content from here on out! (And doesn't judge my music tastes too much HAHA)
I bought the Nier replicant remake when it came out in april and even though I watched a playthrough of gestalt some years prior the story REALLY HIT ME HARD this time around! I've lost count of how many times it made me cry like a baby lmao. So it only felt proper to cover the main theme, Ashes of Dreams, as tribute to this incredible game (and maybe a minor 'thanks for making me cry Yoko Taro)
