The story is really refreshing. Storyline line was arranged nicely & differently despite the same format. Easy to understand. Probably missing some details but eventually you’ll understand. I love that the FL knows her worth. She’s kind matured and understanding. Her character is really relatable. I’ve come to appreciate the ML character. He’s not your typical domineering ceo. He’s been a jerk but he realized his own mistakes. He repented and tries so hard to win her favor. He’s cold but when it comes to FL he shows his vulnerability. He clings and seek her acknowledgement. It’s really humbling to see people like him to put down his pride for her. And I love how he look at her whenever she enters his line of sights. Both ML & FL did well. Natural actings. FL was exceptional in expressing her emotions. I could feel how complicated her feelings towards ML. I love the ML actor. His small/micro gestures added depth to this character & temperament as if those were well thought off. His dialogues mostly came from those gestures. And because of that I found him charming. Bonus point; No kidnap or stabbing scenes. the kisses were good 🔥🔥🔥. Passionate but packed with emotion. Saved for rewatch later.
this is one of the better stories compared to others as the ML actually realized and tried to change himself for FL. i dont agree with him sometimes, but so does the FL and she knows how to put him in his place, which is very rare to see in this kind of drama. glad to see him suffers half of the drama instead of the last 30 minutes. ngl i cried during the scenes of FL's father it was very heartbreaking to watch 😢

I love the acting of this beautiful Fl. I admired that this strong Fl did not let herself be used by men as a door mat, respected herself, and defended herself against bullies. The Ml saying harsh and hurtful words to his rich friends about the Fl and her father was his fault, even if he did not mean them. The Fl was faithful to the Ml and her ex and never deceived them but did cut all ties with her Ex when he cheated on her. The Fl only became stubborn to protect herself against further hurt and to make sure the Ml's intentions were sincere in order to accept him back. The Ml's expression of passion with the Fl was off the charts! The ankle bracelet with the Ml's initials gifted to the Fl by him was the best and most unique token of love I have seen in dramas. I loved the Ml's handsome circle of friends. ShenYi and Zhou Congjin deserved happiness. Ww

My take is when a men give importance to his ex or any other person snd not treat as no 1 priority when it comes to commitment I would nicely say goodbye and find the one that deserves me and be in a meaningful relationship. There is no need to use each to grow in a relationship because you are an adult already and if getting into a relationship then you should know the meaning of it, definitely you grow to know each other better learn habits but no need to teach someone how to manage relationships
I highly recommend it. The story, plot and casting were perfect. Honestly, it deserves more fame than many famous and boring dramas. I felt all the emotions and contradictions they went through. The heroine's behavior and caution towards the hero was logical. Even if I were in her place I would do the same thing Watching this drama made me wish I had such love and determination. The best shot was when he left the meeting and waited for her on the stairs. He couldn't wait for her long.
I really liked thencharacter arc of the ML he started off shallow, arrogant and manipulative. He actually fell for her at the start but couldn’t accept her background. He had three years to reflect on it but didn’t really understand how wrong his thinking and actions were until she clearly explained them in front of her dad’s gravestone. He started realising his friends were not good for him and started distancing himself from them and thinking for himself. With her, he became a sincere, mature version of himself. If he had stayed with his first love, he would never have progressed to the point he could take over from his dad in the company.
I feel one Good point about ml whenever fl explained him what the main problem he will start to resolve this problem Like her father things marriage things even she explained him she didn't much affected for him to save his ex but he didn't explain and made her wait for so long and second when she explained that he wants her to understand about her ex saving things but didn't except other man giving her a gift And after listening ml did work on it
This was a nice change of pace. Rarely do they show us the ML genuinely remorseful and making a sincere effort to change. And love that the FL did not take him back at the first apology. She was happy on her own but his sincerity finally moved her and she accepted him only when she could trust him. Love it!
Fun watch! FL made so much sense and stood up for herself! I feel a lot of these dramas dont point out how selfish the ML can be under the guise of love. This felt authentic and heartfelt. Still CEO has the emotional IQ of a squirrel but if he didnt there wouldnt be a drama to watch 😂 definetly recommend!

Her boyfriend’s inferiority complex was not FL’s responsibility. She was fully committed to marrying him and growing feelings for him over time but he’s the one who messed up.

Someone once told me that good men are not born but made. They learn to be better to make their wife or girlfriend happy. If he’s willing to learn for you then he’s yours, if not then say goodbye. This ML didn’t know how to treat FL right and made a lot of mistakes and had a lot of misunderstandings. But after a lot of reflection he made changes to become better for her. Normally I don’t like when the FL goes back to an ex, but in this case I approve.
So good! My heart broke for both of them. She became the way she is with a wall around her heart protecting it because of what he did to her in the past. It wasn't just her that he hurt but also her father and for her to see her father hold that hurt and guilt and doubt in self til the day he died. They both didn't have that emotional trust in each other that lead to constant misunderstanding and relied on past notions of each other.

I agree, it is probably the best scene of the drama. ML finally realizes he can in no way measure up to that humble yet wonderful man (her father) he so casually affronted. He met the better man. He may have surpassed his own father when it comes to doing business and being successful, but he will never measure up to hers. (But at least he is trying.)
This is a good drama. I love it❤. I love the ML & FL in this drama. They have great chemistry.For once its nice to see a mature FL in a short drama and with real kissing scene❤The ML's best friend(the curly hair one) is also nice. He always give best advice to the ML & always helping them to be together.
I was skeptical of the ML when I first started this. But his genuine reaction of remorse and guilt at her dad’s grave made me open to the POSSIBILITY of him being a better person. First of all, I really liked how he chose to actively change for the positive. And it wasn’t just for the FL (though that was a big part of it). She basically held a mirror up to his soul and he was ashamed of what he saw. We saw how much that shook him and started cracking his icy heart. I also liked how later he not only valued her, but he was vocal and firm in his support. More than once he praised her independence, calm clear thinking, her intelligence and skill. He would tell people that she was so amazing, she didn’t need him or his money. (Which shut down a lot of the naysayers, either because of what he said, or because of the fact that he was saying it!) But the sweetest thing is when he told her that while he knew she could be just fine without him, HE couldn’t live without HER, and begged her to stay. 🥹 Between him and the poor FL, who had to go through the emotional gauntlet, there was a lot of growth that was extremely well portrayed. When he was stiff, it was because his heart was ice. When she was stiff, it was because she was in self protective mode and had her walls up. When they were both finally able to open up, they were really cute together! (Though I wish they had mentioned the ring she gave him, that he wore all those years.😉) I also liked that this focused on them and their relationship, without too much distraction from side characters or plots. So, in the end I was surprised by how much I liked this! It was definitely a journey and not all of it was pleasant, but altogether I thought it was worth it. I could write a bunch more about the FL and their relationship, but I’ll just stop. 🤗 If you made it clear to the end- thanks for reading! 😜

People aren't perfact, we makes mistakes and sometimes misunderstood something, he initially thought she approach him just bcoz he is CEO and wants benefits from him, and that's why when his friends said something he didn't defend her bcoz he also thinks like that, but in my POV he thinks she didn't affect him that much so he let her go but he is wrong, he misunderstood her and in later part she misunderstood him and she also said some harsh things, I know many people want a perfact life partner but we aren't perfact but life give us a lesson, just like in story life gave him a lesson

I really liked this. Felt more natural. Slightly different take on themes. FL knows her own self-worth. It's the first time I've seen a c-drama have a ML say SFL needs psychological help (she does). ML recognizes his faults/arrogance. The subtitles are mixed up near the end, but resolves itself.

This was the best show I have seen in a long time! There was no need for date 🍇 or overcomplicated storylines... It was simply he did dirty and now he has to own up. I truly absolutely love the fact that the writers took their time to show that love hurts and if you don't actually have conversations around your feelings you're not going to have a loving relationship. At the beginning we are introduced to all the characters and our FL is in a relationship with a truly good guy. I honestly couldn't find any fault with him and I could not even fault him for cheating. FL had no reason to be in a relationship because of the emotions that she was harboring around ML. I'm not one to mess with other people's relationships but I didn't even hate the part where ML was budding in on FL's relationship. Let's be honest that relationship it was doomed from the moment it was presented to us AND it's not because we know this is drama land. FL was not emotionally available at all in this relationship because she was still holding on to all that anger. The relationship that FL and ML had was written so lovely... What I mean is they didn't play games. They just wrote two people who were trying to be honest with their emotions and feelings with each other. In the beginning they had a lovely little romance. I'm really not sure what he said but I know he didn't stop his friends from saying the wrong things. He should have told his friends to shut up in that moment but he didn't. In return he truly broke her heart and disrespected her father. Her father was literally gray how could you not notice this man was one step towards death and you couldn't even be bothered to shake his hand. To his credit ML really did own his mistakes. Sure he was panicky here and there but unlike other dramas he didn't love bomb her or embarrass her in public because he's NOT an emotionally stunted adolescent who thinks that he's a grown man but can't seem to muster up enough backbone to actually act like a grown man. 😂 He took his punishment like the big boy that he is and earned his right to be in her heart. I love at the end when the 🍵 is trying to run her mouth and FL is like "you know past the true happiness is loving thyself" 😂😂 also can we normalize telling people to stay out of our business. Mr Li overstepped so many boundaries because he became obsessed way too fast with her. He actually degraded her and his own mind by claiming that a simple anklet meant she was being owned/kept by a man. ❤❤❤
Mr Li was such a creep 😂😂😂 He really needed this woman he knew for 5 minutes to be in some abused relationship so he could sweep in and rescue her. And then his speech to her about how she and Z were from separate words. Low key negging her. What an ass-h0le.
Their chemistry was palpable. First time seeing her do a proper kiss. I had this drama open on THREE different apps while watching searching for the best translation and this one was by far the most accurate (except the car accident scene). Will definitely rewatch this.
Female was nobody’s fool and by her standing up for herself with ML and ex boyfriend and not putting up with cheating or disrespect ..this caused the ML probably for the first time in his arrogant life.. to feel remorse over his words of his actions over the kind of man he was .. to feel the pain of rejection (he probably never had to deal with being rejected) this FL had a chisel in one hand and a shield 🛡️ in the other.. In one hand she she chipped away his pride and prejudice and the other hand she refused to be disrespected or manipulated.. she kept herself protected from any toxic relationships… ML/ FL and 2ML did awesome in their respective roles .. everyone did a good job and the drama was creative .. and different then the usual type of drama .. shout out to the writers and director producers . Finally a different story! Loved everything about it. FL was a tough cookie and aloof ML tried hard to get her to fall in love and accept him. Their chemistry 🔥, the 💋❤️🔥. Rewatch value for sure (at least I will be watching it again).

This was really interesting. I've never seen this storyline before. Too many dramas make the FL cave in under the ML's forceful personality. This FL held her own and made the ML rethink his behavior. They both stayed true to their personalities, but he was willing to make changes for her. This somewhat reminded me of Pride and Prejudice, with both leads misunderstanding one another and nearly missing their chance together, but then coming together after butting heads.
It's really a well directed and acted drama of love and real life ,I don't blame ml much as he had a different upbringing and must be cautious of women but he did like her , circumstances wasn't in his favor,fl also know their difference in background,I really feel sad about her relationship with her boyfriend as she is partly to blame,she never open up to him ..not that cheating on her was right,now he has to be with someone he don't really care for. My 2nd time rewatching as emotions and dialogue are on point and realistic drama. A good watch.
This drama was ok shes strong willed and the ML had to keep chasing her to get her love after he misunderstood her. I think yu long and yang mei mei should do this type of drama. I also liked that the ML new that he was in the wrong for what he said about her and her father and thinking that she planned there meeting on purpose to marry into a wealth family i think we need more dramas like this as this is the first type I've seen

The pacing is good! Surprisingly, the sequences of the scenes are better than other short dramas. I like that the FL didn't forgive the ML so quickly. He had to earn it. I love the FL here the most! She's very independent and has self respect. Good thing the ex bf is a cheater so I didn't feel bad for them not being the end game. 😂 I hate when FL goes back to their exes but in this story, I think the ML deserves it. He made mistakes and completely changed for the better. Good kisses! Good chemistry! The FL's father was so kind hearted. I felt bad 😢 I'm just annoyed about the part of the ML going to his suicidal "childhood sweetheart/friend" rather than his gf's bday celebration. What are you doing there? You're not even donating blood or something? She has her family there and your friend. Wtf! Or maybe you've helped about the doctors or whatnot but was cut in this story. In that sense, I could understand why you chose going there. Good thing, you've proved your loyalty to FL afterwards. Still annoyed on that part. 😂

Best impressive this drama . Great actingskills ,for me, the best match for this drama. Both the sweet lead actress and the young handsome actor did this drama level up for❤ sure. He fell for her, but she was a commoner, so men thought she was after his money.But she truly did stand up and show them all who she was and what she was capable of . She show them that she has her dignity . Even though they have money, that doesn't mean they are better than her. It was so great, so powerful . These two did a wonderful job. I love it❤👍👌🇨🇼

劇情雖有些許平淡確卻也真實合理，ㄧ開始男女主角就只是ㄧ夜之後的交往，沒有感情基礎也不認識，男主家世優渥不對等ㄉ關係自然會很大程度上ㄉ問題，只是看到女主相依為命的爸爸令人淚崩，男主對女主ㄉ傷害除了讓她對感情不信任也很大程度失去愛人的能力，也深深自責在父親生命最後三個月令他對回報社會的良善之舉自責，此劇沒有太虛華的內容，只有真誠的教人相 互成長自重自愛，喜歡男主父親對男主在婚姻關係中談到金錢分配，ㄧ些甜寵短劇總愛最後錢房全給搞得好像男主沒有其它家人似的，他們也有自己的權利，最後女主真令人驚喜終於不再是男主擋刀
破鏡重圓的愛情本來就要比原先的感情還要更磨合，甚至要全部打破重煉才能圓滿回來，男主佔有慾雖強，但對女主還是很尊重，整部戲沒有小三、暴力和顯擺，故事重心都在男女主本身對過往的感情，一個求復合，一個求放下，兩個不同目的的人在分開的時候再也沒有交集，男主發現誤會女主卻沒挽回，而女主則是脫離和男主的過往，並開始下一段感情，但因緣份又將倆人兜在一起，復合後的相處磨合與心境拿捏，都讓男女主很寫實的演繹出，這點對現在或未來可能會破鏡重圓的人提供了一些省思與參考，這是一部好看的劇。
在女主父親墳前那段把我看哭了。很感人。做人要懂得自尊、自愛。否則其他人也不會尊重你、愛你。

I really liked thencharacter arc of the ML he started off shallow, arrogant and manipulative. He actually fell for her at the start but couldn’t accept her background.
He had three years to reflect on it but didn’t really understand how wrong his thinking and actions were until she clearly explained them in front of her dad’s gravestone. He started realising his friends were not good for him and started distancing himself from them and thinking for himself. With her, he became a sincere, mature version of himself. If he had stayed with his first love, he would never have progressed to the point he could take over from his dad in the company.
I feel one Good point about ml whenever fl explained him what the main problem he will start to resolve this problem
Like her father things marriage things even she explained him she didn't much affected for him to save his ex but he didn't explain and made her wait for so long and second when she explained that he wants her to understand about her ex saving things but didn't except other man giving her a gift

This was a nice change of pace. Rarely do they show us the ML genuinely remorseful and making a sincere effort to change. And love that the FL did not take him back at the first apology. She was happy on her own but his sincerity finally moved her and she accepted him only when she could trust him. Love it!

Someone once told me that good men are not born but made. They learn to be better to make their wife or girlfriend happy. If he’s willing to learn for you then he’s yours, if not then say goodbye. This ML didn’t know how to treat FL right and made a lot of mistakes and had a lot of misunderstandings. But after a lot of reflection he made changes to become better for her. Normally I don’t like when the FL goes back to an ex, but in this case I approve.
This drama is still ok to watch and of course Lan Lan's acting never disappoints❤🎉

So good! My heart broke for both of them. She became the way she is with a wall around her heart protecting it because of what he did to her in the past. It wasn't just her that he hurt but also her father and for her to see her father hold that hurt and guilt and doubt in self til the day he died. They both didn't have that emotional trust in each other that lead to constant misunderstanding and relied on past notions of each other.

I agree, it is probably the best scene of the drama. ML finally realizes he can in no way measure up to that humble yet wonderful man (her father) he so casually affronted. He met the better man.

This is a good drama. I love it❤. I love the ML & FL in this drama. They have great chemistry.For once its nice to see a mature FL in a short drama and with real kissing scene❤The ML's best friend(the curly hair one) is also nice. He always give best advice to the ML & always helping them to be together.
I think this is the best micro drama I’ve watched so far.
I was skeptical of the ML when I first started this. But his genuine reaction of remorse and guilt at her dad’s grave made me open to the POSSIBILITY of him being a better person.
First of all, I really liked how he chose to actively change for the positive. And it wasn’t just for the FL (though that was a big part of it). She basically held a mirror up to his soul and he was ashamed of what he saw. We saw how much that shook him and started cracking his icy heart.
I also liked how later he not only valued her, but he was vocal and firm in his support. More than once he praised her independence, calm clear thinking, her intelligence and skill. He would tell people that she was so amazing, she didn’t need him or his money. (Which shut down a lot of the naysayers, either because of what he said, or because of the fact that he was saying it!) But the sweetest thing is when he told her that while he knew she could be just fine without him, HE couldn’t live without HER, and begged her to stay. 🥹
Between him and the poor FL, who had to go through the emotional gauntlet, there was a lot of growth that was extremely well portrayed. When he was stiff, it was because his heart was ice. When she was stiff, it was because she was in self protective mode and had her walls up. When they were both finally able to open up, they were really cute together! (Though I wish they had mentioned the ring she gave him, that he wore all those years.😉)
I also liked that this focused on them and their relationship, without too much distraction from side characters or plots.
So, in the end I was surprised by how much I liked this! It was definitely a journey and not all of it was pleasant, but altogether I thought it was worth it. I could write a bunch more about the FL and their relationship, but I’ll just stop. 🤗 If you made it clear to the end- thanks for reading! 😜

I really liked this. Felt more natural. Slightly different take on themes. FL knows her own self-worth. It's the first time I've seen a c-drama have a ML say SFL needs psychological help (she does). ML recognizes his faults/arrogance. The subtitles are mixed up near the end, but resolves itself.

This was the best show I have seen in a long time! There was no need for date 🍇 or overcomplicated storylines... It was simply he did dirty and now he has to own up. I truly absolutely love the fact that the writers took their time to show that love hurts and if you don't actually have conversations around your feelings you're not going to have a loving relationship.
At the beginning we are introduced to all the characters and our FL is in a relationship with a truly good guy. I honestly couldn't find any fault with him and I could not even fault him for cheating. FL had no reason to be in a relationship because of the emotions that she was harboring around ML. I'm not one to mess with other people's relationships but I didn't even hate the part where ML was budding in on FL's relationship. Let's be honest that relationship it was doomed from the moment it was presented to us AND it's not because we know this is drama land. FL was not emotionally available at all in this relationship because she was still holding on to all that anger.
The relationship that FL and ML had was written so lovely... What I mean is they didn't play games. They just wrote two people who were trying to be honest with their emotions and feelings with each other. In the beginning they had a lovely little romance. I'm really not sure what he said but I know he didn't stop his friends from saying the wrong things. He should have told his friends to shut up in that moment but he didn't. In return he truly broke her heart and disrespected her father. Her father was literally gray how could you not notice this man was one step towards death and you couldn't even be bothered to shake his hand.
To his credit ML really did own his mistakes. Sure he was panicky here and there but unlike other dramas he didn't love bomb her or embarrass her in public because he's NOT an emotionally stunted adolescent who thinks that he's a grown man but can't seem to muster up enough backbone to actually act like a grown man. 😂 He took his punishment like the big boy that he is and earned his right to be in her heart.
I love at the end when the 🍵 is trying to run her mouth and FL is like "you know past the true happiness is loving thyself" 😂😂 also can we normalize telling people to stay out of our business. Mr Li overstepped so many boundaries because he became obsessed way too fast with her. He actually degraded her and his own mind by claiming that a simple anklet meant she was being owned/kept by a man.

Finally a different story! Loved everything about it. FL was a tough cookie and aloof ML tried hard to get her to fall in love and accept him. Their chemistry 🔥, the 💋❤️🔥. Rewatch value for sure (at least I will be watching it again).

This was really interesting. I've never seen this storyline before. Too many dramas make the FL cave in under the ML's forceful personality. This FL held her own and made the ML rethink his behavior. They both stayed true to their personalities, but he was willing to make changes for her. This somewhat reminded me of Pride and Prejudice, with both leads misunderstanding one another and nearly missing their chance together, but then coming together after butting heads.

My 2nd time rewatching as emotions and dialogue are on point and realistic drama. A good watch.

It's a love story y'all 💕.. One of my favorite FL, her range is tremendous. Such a novel storyline for this plot. Love seeing a character redemption story and with a complete and sweet ending...on to the next!!!

The FL's father was so kind hearted. I felt bad 😢 I'm just annoyed about the part of the ML going to his suicidal "childhood sweetheart/friend" rather than his gf's bday celebration. What are you doing there? You're not even donating blood or something? She has her family there and your friend. Wtf! Or maybe you've helped about the doctors or whatnot but was cut in this story. In that sense, I could understand why you chose going there. Good thing, you've proved your loyalty to FL afterwards. Still annoyed on that part. 😂

Beginning was refreshing. But it hurt a lot, when he told he slept with her bcuz she is a cheap woman 😭😭. I feel sory for her and father. Dude u lost ur words, then know the truth and want her back. But sid u care how her actions undermine her life and her family. How hurt she was when she knew the reason behind ur affection 😢

He fell for her, but she was a commoner, so men thought she was after his money.But she truly did stand up and show them all who she was and what she was capable of . She show them that she has her dignity . Even though they have money, that doesn't mean they are better than her.
