This series should have won many accolades inc National Awards. The body language of kutty Raasu ( Lokesh ) and Rajendran ( Chetan ) is uncanny. Finally finished this series🎉🎉.. This is my 1st time watching this series, it has huge fan base in telugu states, especially among 90s kids. I was born in 98 and i heard this show used to air on etv. I've been binge watching this for 4 days straight and its worth it..
What a great story line, screen play, casting, cinematography everything was perfect.
In earlier episodes I already made a comment guessing that rasu was karuppu, and this show resembles with aparachit.
That's not a great guess because we're living in 2024, by now we've already watched so many mystery thrillers.
Imagine being a normal person in 90s timeline with limited knowledge and resources of almost every field. Then you're hit with an engaging show, with a cliff hanger ending in each episode. I could only imagine ppl waiting for the trkecast of next episode. May be thats what made their memories etched with this show glimpses..
Imo this the best serial ever made in India with a story line blending science and spirituality. The acting performance was top tier and each actor nailed thier roles including child actors. With limited budgets and technology the makers made a wonder. This show was progressive and way ahead of its time, meanwhile our current tv shows are getting regressive each day.
I used to hate Reenas character in the begining but i love her now. She is determined, kind and intelligent too.. Remember how she treated chelli and Asokan, she's kind. Sometimes she's overstepping boundaries and seems like a manipulative person, but her Iron will to bring out the truth was commandable. The way she handled that horrible rape incident, how she understood rasus mental condition and decided to stand by his side even though he was her rapist.. That kind of empathy she had on rasu was admirable.
Im personally a religious person but i think people like reena are much needed in our society. This is kaliyugam and you cannot even trust your eyes. I'm grossed when poosari said that he acted in earlier times to get a grip on anamudayar family😢..
But again the ending was mind blowing, especially the scene where nanda passes the book to achyutan . And the dailogues between poosari and reena. Reena despite being an atheist she said she liked karuppu samy righteousness. Poosari said so you believe karuppu qnd rasu were different and rasu doesn't know that he has a personality called karuppu in him, so the killings were done by God Karuppu not by some humans. I'm astonished when I heard that logic, what a great way of writing. Eventhough I'm a telugu person, i can understand little tamil. This show is absolutely worth the length ❤❤❤ and our time❤❤❤..

அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளையும் ஒரு வாரத்திற்குள் பார்த்து முடித்தேன்..என் அம்மா பள்ளியில் படித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த போது இத்தொடர் ஒளிப்பரப்பப்பட்டதாம். இன்று கல்லூரியில் படித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் என்னாலும் இக்களத்துடன் ஒன்ற முடிகிறது என்றால் அதுதான் காலத்தைக் கடந்தும் பார்வையாளரைக் கவரும் (கட்டிப்போடும்) இத்தொடரின் வெற்றி. கருப்புக் கோயில், காசித் தோப்பு பங்களா, கம்மாயி என அனைத்திற்கும் நானே நேரில் சென்றுவிட்டதாய் ஓர் எண்ணம். சிவகாமி மற்றும் பிரம்மனின் காதல் கதை, கருக்கலைந்த பின்பும் தன் மனைவியைத் தேற்றுவது அருமை. கருப்பு தனைக் கண்டிப்பாக வந்து திருமணம் செய்து கொள்ளும் என்ற செல்லியின் நம்பிக்கையை ஆதரிப்பதா? வேண்டாமென்பதா என தெரியவில்லை. சூடிக் கொடுத்த சுடர்விழி ஆண்டாளை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டது போல் செல்லிக்கும் வழிப்பிறந்தால் எப்படி இருக்கும்? இராசுவின் மரணமோ எனை மிகவும் பாதித்தது.. அறிவியலா ஆன்மீகமா என்பதையெல்லாம் தாண்டி தன் குற்றத்திற்கு தானே தண்டனையளிப்பது ஆச்சர்யமே.. இப்படி அவரவர் குற்றத்தை அவரவரே உணர்ந்து பரிகாரங்களைத் தேடிக் கொண்டால் அவதாரங்கள் தோன்றவும் தேவையில்லை.. இக்கதைப்படி சத்யநாரயணா, நந்தா போன்று சிலர் தனது வாழ்க்கையைத் தொலைத்து ஆயுதம் கொண்டு அந்த அவதாரம் நிகழும் இடத்திற்கு செல்லவும் தேவையில்லை.
