I was literally just revising my budget for May right before I watched this. I had unexpected emergency expenses in March and April, family visiting from out of town this month, and a couple of monthly bills that will be going up in June. Being very careful with what I’m spending right now, may plan a no buy unless it’s groceries week or laundry week.
I really like the idea of tagging along with your "no spend week". I enjoy reading the Money Diaries from Refinery29 and a video format from you would be very enjoyable. Hope you're feeling better! ❤️
I'm doing my 4th year of low-buy.... Life got expensive! After mortgage, utilities, groceries (my SINGLE biggest expense), car insurance, fuel (I commute to work - no public transit), retirement fund, Heath costs & pet costs..... I'm left with $100 - $150 a month in discretionary spending.🤷 Thank goodness I have a good paying job!!! Seriously, our groceries are $700 dollars a month!! 🤢 And we don't eat fancy.... that's just for basics!

The unexpected expenses can really detail things, can’t they? 😖 Best of luck for this month
I watched a crazy long ad to make you a few cents or pence 😆
I LOVE you for that!! ☺️
I love these budgeting vids 😊
I’m so glad! ☺️

Ooh I’ll have to take a look at that too. That sounds like my kind of read ☺️ And thank you! I’m feeling a lot better this week.
I've been meaning to ask: whatever happened to coffee of the month?
Oh my gosh!! I just completely forgot about it 🤣🤣 I’ll bring it back next month!

It’s absolutely out of control!! I hope things improve but they just seems to keep spiralling in the wrong direction
