This episode of India Alert depicts the story of a house maid named Kusum who worked at Nikhil's house. Nikhil was a gambler and was heavily in debt. Even Nikhil had agreed to their proposal and but Kusum was upset about it, she expressed her grief but Nikhil promised to get married to her only if she agreed to steal her mother's jewelry.
