This was actually a song they would do during training to practice their chords and one of the people on the show heard them do it and asked them to do it on the show! Blackpink concerts are actually insane, even from the beginning. During the debut showcase in Japan they started with Boombayah (the Japanese version so with some lyric changes) and their stage presence was already off the charts. DDU DU DDU DU Japanese version remix at Tokyo Dome also goes super hard, and then of course, all the Coachella performances - both 2019 and obviously headlining 2023 when they’re just at the top of their game. But yeah it makes sense to do the music first just to understand what it is they’re talking abt/performing. Great reaction!

Jennie is full Korean, born in Korean but she lived in New Zealand for a few years before returning back to Korea. Rose' is also full Korean, but she was born in New Zealand, moved to Australia at a young age, and then moved to Korea to train in YG Ent. Lisa is Thai, born in Thailand, moved to Korea to train in YG Ent. Learned to speak Korean soon after. Funny fact, Lisa spoke better Korean then Rose' when Rose' arrived, as she only spoke elementary level Korean. Living in Australia and speaking English mainly, only speaking Korean at home.
