Zeynep shook him there… Halil sees everything in black and white… and his anger is a tool he uses to control people… does he not realize that Zeynep is speaking from experience with him… she knows about heavy punishments, because he meted that out to her under the assumption that he was always right and she was wrong and guilty (only for him to realize each time that he was so wrong).., has he not learned anything, especially that his anger does not solve anything… she was right to tell him, she realizes that she can’t make a life with someone like that… it was a good eye opener for him… and boy did he make a quick turnaround… changed his mind one time when he realized Zeynep wasn’t playing a game anymore, and he could lose her… good that some hard truths are coming out and they are getting closer to being a real couple 👍
I love that she told him in later scene " someone who doesn't give another chance to people shouldn't ask for one for himself" - it highlights how he expects others to understand his pain and show him mercy while he usually goes far with his punishment and rage till proven wrong.... As you mentioned he changed his decision quickly and now listens to her which is huge development. I can see how stressed he gets around Sangul I just wish he could've seen through her evil exterior instead of punishing everyone around him for dumb mistakes. I'm curious to know your thoughts on how Sangul situation will be handled since you always had lots of indepth analysis 😊
Luckily he wasn't always this one-dimensional... when Cemil confessed to him about laying the fire and why he did it, he was a very understanding person and didn't punish him at all...

As for Songul… she literally has hurt many of them- Halil, his parents and his sister, Zeynep, the grandmother, Tulay, now Merve and Cemil- and for any one of them, we would like to see them get a chance to get at her and see her get her just desserts… There is so much to unpack concerning Songul, but the clincher of the whole unraveling for her is that necklace and affair she had with Omer before he chose Tulay.. To bring her down it has to start from the beginning- her stealing the necklace or Fikret for her, and framing Halil’s father… to do that someone has to remember the past- Zeynep’s grandmother- she might have a lucid moment and her recollection may be such that whomever hears it, believes her and that might start the ball rolling in terms of digging into Omer and Songul’s past… chances are that we will see everything coming out in order… and happening quickly… personally I want Halil to see the video on Songul’s phone that exonerates Zeynep and really shows that Canan and Asu pushed his mother and that Songul learned this just as they arrived at the farm and kept it secret, letting him hurt Zeynep… because of the limited number of episodes, Songul is living on borrowed time… it might not be as spectacular as we want it and God knows we all want her to pay hugely… but it is going to happen or start probably after Halil and Zeynep return from their honeymoon (which is way before eps200) so hold into your seats, plenty is coming at us, as evidenced by the hard truths and conversations we saw in the last two episodes…
I loved it too, he really was afraid of loosing her in that moment, he does anything for her but what scares me...if he ever loosses Zeynep...he loosses himself, without her he turns to a bully she truly is his life but in real life thats something dangerous for a person

Poor Cemil risking his livelihood again for Merve who doesn't deserve it. She doesn't even notice him around him, let alone to see him in any kind of role next to her. And he's the sweetest person that has not changed at all from the first episode, he deserves someone as good if not better than him!

But the thing is, i was just saying this in another thread, these episodes are filmed soooo far back, that i fear the ending will be rushed and everything we are watching now until Episode 200 or so will be "business as usual" if you know what i mean, then once they cross over the 200, we might get to see them "moving on" so to speak. Wasting time, that's all we're doing..
