Your family must be so excited about the “September Pies” it is an awesome series to watch👍🥳. Maybe next month or every other month a new 30 day series perhaps?? 🥰
Megan I am absolutely loving September Pie Month!! Again another great idea!! My printer died September 1st of all days so yesterday I ran out and bought the best one I could and set it up just so I can print all of your pie recipes. I am so excited!! Can't wait for more great pies and more of your great ideas. You are definitely a 10 star RUclipsr! Thank you!!
I LOVE that cat bowl!! These videos are great! You can tell you make food with love ❤️ I’d love to see a different soups for a month, soups and stews haha
Pie Month has been great, I think it would be great to see Megan tasting her creations. Looking forward to the empanada pie from your trip. It sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing your family with all of us.
I have really enjoyed the September Pies videos. When you put the melted apricot preserves on the apples my mouth started watering. Looking forward to the next pie.
Love how you ended it with the funny face, Megan! Haahaa!😂 That pie looks excellent. Feeling inspired with each pie video to make each recipe! Loved how much fun the whole family is having, their genuine joyfullness...fun in the kitchen!❣👏🍎🥧👏🥰
Beautiful Tart-Pie! Suitable For Framing! Yet, Mostly-Moistly For Eating! 😋👍Sure hope you’re taking pics of all your pies to make your own pie cookbook. 👍❤️
What a good idea of yours, a pie every day in September. I am enjoying your excitement at pleasing your family and providing a simple, fun way to baking them with music and no recipe. The delight of your children and husband savoring them while giving their opinions on the "goodness factor" is amusing to watch. I have watched your family for quite some time and always am surprised with your vlog's creative momentum. Keep them coming. Best wishes
Perfection!! 1st of all! I have those same pans that I actually bought at a thrift store... Amazing how many of these are available there , I think people buy them and then don't know what to do with them. 2nd of all , new trick I've learned with your recipe is the peach preserves.. I use a caramel drizzle, so I'm going to so try your method. Honey crisp is the perfect Apple to use for this also.. I actually just made one of these with plums.. Thank you so much! I hope you understand how much people are enjoying this
Pie month .. loving it , making steak and mushroom pies for dinner on Saturday .. even quicker with a pie maker that cooks four individual pie in one go !
Gosh Megan, that looks scrumptious 😋 I love that you are making a lot of pies/tarts with no egg for those like me with egg allergies ♡ mahalo , I am enjoying this series
Looks so pretty! Love the funny edits. I LOVE honeycrisp apples, that’s the only kind I eat! I really don’t know the difference between a pie and a tart.
Must try this! Enjoying the series. Savory suggestion: Tourtiere, a French meat pie and Impossible Lasagna Pie, a delicious, quick Bisquick or baking mix recipe.
Your Apple Tart looked delicious! My husband and I just had my tamale pie for dinner. It is my husband’s favorite. If y’all like cornbread you should try making one.
I feel a galette would also identify as a pie .... Also I love how Mike closes his eyes when he takes the first bite so he can fully focus on the taste of the pie. :)
@@jacquelinecote271 so do you also call the one where you lay the fruits out on the pie crust and then fold the edges up over the outer ring of the filling but the whole things stays flat ... is that a galette or a tart in France?
@@tammyt870 I think I need to be more clear lol that's just what my relatives would call it. I really am not anybody in authority to make those kind of calls
I think whatever you want to make as a pie 🥧 should be a pie 🥧. You’re in charge of it no matter what someone says because no matter what you do there will be someone that disagrees so it’s all good . Life is too short to disagree in what’s a real pie 🥧🤪. So continue to have fun in baking YOUR pies 🥧 this month. And that pie 🥧 looked gorgeous and delicious 😋 and so darn easy 👍🏼. And what an amazing dessert to bring to someone house 😍
Loving your month of pies! Here in North Texas (don’t know where y’all lived in Texas back in the day) fried pies are a big deal. Are you thinking of doing some?
I’m feeling inspired to maybe do a month of cookies. I’d do cake but we only have 3 people in our family and that would be too much to eat. Really so will the cookies but those I can freeze or share more easily.
Hey Knorpp and South family love this...... have you heard they are changing the months September is to be extended definitely sooooooo September Pies Forever😂😂😂This was a brilliant idea Ms Megan. Thank you so much for all you do !!!
That looked so good... I wish you would look into the Rappie pie from Canada a French Canadian dish, a savory pie. Anyways and as always stay safe and God bless love ya Nancy PS I'm gonna ask everyday till they end to see if you do it
i emediately went and did this pie as i had two apples just sitting on the counter looking at me. It was a little harder since im from Europe and it is nine oclock in the evenning (or night? :D) but cant wait for tommorows snack :D
This looks so professionnal, how did you learn to put the apples that way? I will learn it your way so my tart looks& tastes pro' ,tx. Add a few roasted almond flakes for Michelin star result.
How about a. Online book chucked full of September Pies by our dear Megan, including lots of colorful photos and deliciousness and family reaction. If it was available, it would be a wonderful gift
Interesting that in this crust the butter is melted. I followed a different tart - galette recipe that called for the butter to be cold. Can the crust for the tart be used as a crust for other pies like cream pies? maybe best for no bake fillings? I'll try it
how did you get it out of the tart pan? without it breaking? I looked it up and I read a tart is not a pie because of the crust. But no matter, I have never tried a tart, and now I might, you made it look easy.
Tart - Not A Pie Tart is not a pie. Although it is called a tart, the word tart actually describes the crust which holds it together. The filling of a tart can be made of many different things, depending on what you want in your tart. A tart is not limited to only fruit fillings, as many other ingredients can also go into making a nice tart. Fruit tarts are often decorated with fruit on top of them to make colorful draws to the tart. This makes it have a nice appearance that you would want to eat. A pie is defined as “a baked dish of fruit, or meat or vegetables, typically with a top and base of pastry.” Pies are made in many different ways, but all pies require dough, either a top crust or a bottom crust. A pie can also have many different types of fillings, but it is typically fruit, meat, vegetables, or cheese.
Karen W, tomato...tamahto...lol. I did wonder, also, how she got the pie/tart out of the pan without it crumbling to pieces...I would have destroyed it. The September Pie series is fun...right!
The best part of month of pies, is how excited the family is every day.
I am loving September Pie Days. Will you have a playlist for this particular set of vlogs?
Your family must be so excited about the “September Pies” it is an awesome series to watch👍🥳. Maybe next month or every other month a new 30 day series perhaps?? 🥰

Perfect recipe for apple picking time happening in New Mexico right now.👍

I want to try making this one. So pretty and who doesn’t like a tart?
GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!
Must try this! Enjoying the series. Savory suggestion: Tourtiere, a French meat pie and Impossible Lasagna Pie, a delicious, quick Bisquick or baking mix recipe.
An empanada is also Mexican pie...You may want to consider. We put meat as well as fruit in them.
Love me some empanadas! We made them at a cooking class in Mexico earlier this year!
Another delish looking tart/pie. I would add maple syrup also to this and serve with plain yogurt.....but then I am Canadian...
looks good
Baked in a rectangular tart pan would also be so pretty.
Love this 😻
Your Apple Tart looked delicious!
My husband and I just had my tamale pie for dinner. It is my husband’s favorite. If y’all like cornbread you should try making one.
I should add it to the list!
I feel a galette would also identify as a pie .... Also I love how Mike closes his eyes when he takes the first bite so he can fully focus on the taste of the pie. :)
Actually in France this would be called a galette.
Which most of my French relatives refer to as pi

I think this would be good with pears also😊 maybe do an oatmeal cookie crust for a breakfast tart 🤷🏼♀️😋
You just needed a light caramel drizzle on top....yum!

Megan, you can use plums in your tart. Plum tart is yummy.
Honeycrisp, developed in Minnesota!
Thank you, Minnesota! 🙌

That should be a shirt SatisPIEing to commemorate Pie Month. I made a tomato bacon pie for dinner tonight and apple pie for dessert.
I am really enjoying pie month. I hope you make it an annual thing.....and might I suggest a month of cookies close to Christmas time?
If it has a crust and a filling, it’s a pie
Looks great. Try a peach custard pie. Use canned peach’s. Fresh would be too juicy.

The next thing you should do is a month of breads!
Could you try a Teviot savoury pie with suet crust and meat mmmmmmm
Mmm. Looks great. How about a caramel drizzle??? Lol.
