- Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time. What if he was drafted by the 49ers? Join me in an in-depth look at what could have possibly taken place if he was drafted by San Francisco. This change would have a major snowball effect on the rest of the league.

So this video took me a LONG time to make. By far the longest any of my videos have taken me, I actually cut out quite a bit of info to keep it as concise as possible. Let me know what you guys think of this video! I really enjoyed making it. Oh... by the way, the Browns KILLED the draft.
Follow me if you want on twitter:

I'm more worried about the browns than the Bengals and the ravens. I'm a steelers fan
KTO i like your what if video
tbh if Rodgers was playing with the 49ers I don't think he would've been the Aaron Rodgers that we know and love because the 49ers were obviously bad at coaching qb's just look at alex smith while he was with the 49ers and look at him now...
KTO I would cry if Rodgers got drafted by SF BC IM A PACKERS FAN
KTO what if Brady was never drafted
Don't let this distract you from the truth
Lighting McQueen blew a 2 lap lead in the Piston Cup
David Hamilton lol

David Hamilton this made me laugh out loud
😂😂😂
Old af
as a 49ers fan this pains me
super bowl
Kai I hate the Packers and I wish this happened. I don't hate Rodgers, but I just hate the damn team he plays for.
Anthony Mendez #GoPackGo Bitches
well if aaron was drafted Colin kap wouldn't even be in the nfl
Ryan Conner he still would have been on the 49ers or beangles
I'm sure the 49ers want Rodgers now.
Luke Meola hell ya we do
Luke Meola we've always wanted him
WE want Tribusky now too. I wanted Rodgers in 05 but looking back we had Tim Rattay; rodgers would have suffered his same fate...and Tim Rattay was a beast when TO and Hearst were on the team. Alex Smith was the best pick, we were able to get value production from FRANK GORE and V. DAVIS and
Smith allows his Defenses rest. Notice that KC has Spencer Ware becoming Frank Gore and Travis Kelce is now the best TE in the league(5 years ago it was VD), and KCity Defense is a dominant Defense(aging tho; while the SF D was young).
Luke Meola dude I don't think that there is a single fucking team in the league that wouldn't fucking kill to have Aaron Rodgers as their QB. (Except maybe New England) Aaron Rodgers is not only one of the all time greatest QB's, but one of the leagues all time greatest players at any position. Aaron Rodgers still being on the board for Green Bay with the 24th pick is one of the greatest draft steals in NFL history. 23 God damn teams passed on one of the best QB's ever, lol. He had to sit behind flip flop Favre for a few seasons and had to patiently ride the bench and then wonder if Favre was going to retire and then change his mind again, so Rodgers sat behind them for a few years and wait for his chance, and when it finally came he cemented himself as a fucking legend. I have always wondered if the Browns would have been a contender if they drafted him. The Fucking Browns have had almost 30 starting QB's since the early 2000's, and they have had dozens of chances to draft a great QB, but they are just incompetent. If they would have drafted him, would they be a perennial contender and possibly have a Super Bowl championship by now. Would he had been as great as he is had he been the starting QB as a rookie with the Browns coaching staff, or was it him having Favre as a mentor his first couple of seasons, as well as having the same coach for years. Its fun to wonder if he would have been as successful anywhere else had he been a day one rookie starter, or was it the couple of years sitting and learning and coaching stability that made him so successful.
Nah probably Tom Brady
Basically the lions would have won a few NFC north titles
The goat which is 😂😂
Yeah...
The goat
But then Aaron Rodgers walked onto the field in your dreams and you woke up screaming. Lions are cursed, will never win a title.
nope, bears were a SB contender. They own the NFC north for a looong time
I was watching his (Aaron Rodger's) highlights and I watched the draft and I said "what if he was drafted by the Niners?" And now I'm here
what a coincidence
Keep in mind that Alex Smith had new coordinators every year he played in San Francisco. Smith also didn't have the luxury of being prepared by Brett Favre for years. Alex Smith is still very successful and his Super Bowl window with the Chiefs isn't shut yet
Good thing we drafted Aaron Rodgers! Cuz without him, the Packers would be terrible. Talk about MVP. Without Rodgers, Packers probably be one of the worst teams in the league.
khaos_ player108 well we never know Hundley could've became a elite elite. Or drafted a elite QB
Krouton This is Aaron Rodgers you're talking about, no matter how you look at it the packers would be worse.
For 25 years, you guys had a HoF QB, not bad.
You do know that the Packers were in the Conference Championship game the year prior to Rodgers taking over, right? Not taking anything away from Rodgers, but he inherited a damn good team.
McCarthy changed Rodgers ball release and footwork. Remember he was a Tedford QB that held the ball high. If Rodgers doesn't go to the Packers he might not be the Rodgers we know today.
Who’s here when Rodgers is playing against the 49ers
Dave Donle yeah the 49ers are fine without him right now sadly 😑
Wait does this mean in that timeline, The 49ers are on their 4th or 5th superbowl in a decade. Also they would probably play either the Saints or Seahawks in the NFC championship instead of the Packers.
We. Got. Smacked.
This would make a life as a bears fan way better
lol
Poor bears; have to sit there and wait for favre and Rogers to retire before having a chance. Crazy how the Packers can pick qbs but rbs and bears can pick rbs and not qbs.
Go Bears!
You sure about that Jon? Lmao typical arrogant Green Bay fan. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s picked a new team by now
Welp. You're now in the playoffs, while Rodgers is sitting out. :P
what if Tom brady never got drafted by the patriots
Cristian C that would be awesome but it would take forever
To make
Don't we all wish that happen
He most likely still would've been GOAT. He was never a starter or backup originally in college or the NFL but he continues to beat the odds.
BeastMode 21 very very false
I'm just going to pretend this really happened to mask the pain that still resides in this niner fan's soul 15 years after the 2005 draft. Thanks for the great video it's clear it took a lot of time and work. ✊
No need for that yall just elimanated arron rodgers to go to the superbowl
Look at it this way. If he had been drafted by the 49ers, he wouldn't be winless against them when it counted😂😂😂😂
8:43 - "... Win the NFC North once again"... I didn't know the 49ers could win the NFC North bc they're in the NFC West
I’m a 9ers fan, I was a bartender at a golf course and will never forget this draft. I was so disappointed they didn’t draft Rodgers, my friend is a huge Steelers fan and was freaking out about them drafting Ben.
Different draft
My Niners would be unstoppable with Aaron Rodgers as QB
Armando Torres not now, They would be worse then packers, Rodgers carries and horrible team
Armando no they wouldn't they wouldn't even make the playoffs
Armando Torres If you got him you would've had 3 of the best qbs ever ( Montana young Rodgers
Watch TIM RATTAY; they are virtually the same QB. Tim Rattay had TO and Hearst and a decent o line, we also had a winning season, but they left and Rattay became garbage. Rattay was better than Rodgers, when Rodgers came into the leauge. I totally see why they picked SMITH, they wanted somebody who could be able to put up with total crap of management.
All in all ALEX made Frank Gore and Davis and the D great, proof: KC chiefs are sculpted the 2011 49ers image.
Armando Torres your profile pic is cringe
Love these vids

If Aaron Rodgers doesn't learn under Brett Favre, then his career doesn't turn out the way it ends up. Also, Aaron Rodgers was absolutely awful in limited snaps in 2005 and 2006. Also, if Mike Nolan stays the head coach, the 49ers aren't winning anything. Sorry to burst your bubble.
That's why Rodgers Better cause He sits and learn from Legendary B FARVE.
Actually the coaching staff had more to do with Rodgers' success than Favre ever did.
15:00
lmao his coach was Mike McCarthy. he carried Mike
Being a die hard Niners fan, this is what killed us! Niners fans wanted Rodgers but the York family wanted Smith. Having a new OC your first 6 years didnt help Smith much.
That draft I wanted Rodgers so bad that I screamed when Alex SMith was anounced. Watching him go on to become the most technically sound QB in history has only made me sicker knowing he shouldve been ours. I love this video and I think your pretty close to how things would've played out.
I did the same thing when the Packers picked Tony Manderich over Barry Sanders.
For me as a Dallas fan, this is a lose-lose scenario. Would you rather: have Rodgers to go to your arch rival? Or have Rodgers to go to your arch rivals?
Brady Quinn Goes #1. *Every NFL Fan Either Rages Or Laughs* *Bust Intensifies*
Seems like you put a lot of work in to this video. Nice work!
Do the lions still go 0-16?

Who’s here after the 49ers beat the packers and got to the super bowl
Im here after week 5 of the 2020 season. the 49ers are 2-3 and they lost in the super bowl
What if the colts drafted leaf?
arnavp4 They couldnt have.
BlueTube Games Ryan leaf
arnavp4 what about him
BlueTube Games they could've drafted him instead of manning
arnavp4 It was leaf or manning to 1st and 2nd. Denver didnt have either of those picks and neither of them were going to have a trade.
Farve looked pretty young in the simulation 😂
49ers lookin good this year 👀
Too bad the hometown boy isn’t home...
With Kapernick going to Cleveland, the Kneeling would not have caught on either. You could say that had the 49ers picked Aaron Rodgers, they would have affected the nation.
Keep these amazing videos coming my man!
What if Ray Lewis was drafted by the Pakers
iateatihop what are the packers??
Adolf Hitler freak you I hate your name
Adolf Hitler a football team idiot
@@adolfhitler2683 change your name, dude.
That's just hurtful to a lot of people. Show some class.
I think Aaron Rodgers became so good is because he backed up Favre and he watched exactly what not to do as QB so if he went to Sanfran he wouldn't be as good as he is now
great value bleach nope
lol.
Great Value Bleach, Not even close.
Look at the years Rodgers was backing up Favre. He watched Favre sandbag the '05 and '06 seasons with a 71 and a 73 passer rating respectively. In the '07 season, Favre threw 25 passes to the other teams and was just lucky they dropped 12 of them. Favre also sandbagged the NFCCG.
The only thing Rodgers would have learned from Favre is that if you throw picks, you suck.
Favre is nothing like Rodgers. He is clueless about defenses and didn't even bother to study. Rodgers studies all the time and understands defenses.
No QB would ever study Favre. He had terrible mechanics, horrible work ethic, didn't take care of the ball and choked in the big game when ever it was on him to win it.
Favre spent more than half his career milking the few good years he had in the '90s because he could get free booze and chicks as a famous football player. He loved having fun more than he loved the game. He loved all the fun the game let him get away with.
Hes 100% right. In green bay he had no pressure, and while he didnt learn from favre, he got two years to learn from coaches without having his confidence destroyed by playing over his head. In Sanfran, he would have been thrown into the fire, talked about as the qb to follow up Montana and young at like 22, and wpuld deal with a carosel of coaches. I think by 2010 he would be better than smith was, but he wpuld have struggled before that. San fran wouldnt have giving him ebough time to develop his mechanics as well.
he probably learned to not throw to defenders
Yeah but Roger's would have had to start immediately with the 49ers. Also Alex Smith didn't have luxury of learning from maybe the greatest quarterback ever! Plus the Packers had a much better team established team around him than the 49ers!
Fun Fact: In 2004 on Cal Aaron Rodgers and Marshawn Lynch was on the same team.
LETS GO, KTO POSTED
Imagine Rodgers with George Kittle. Man that’d be a terrifying offense
the 49ers also could have won in 2013
Joseph Klein and even in other years the 2012 Ravens would have lost to the 49ers With Rodgers
they were honestly closer in 2011 than they were in 2013
The Lions Drafting Joe Thomas Would Mean The Lions Would WIN A Playoff Game, Let Alone Make The Playoffs. But It’s Not Until 2015 They Make The Playoffs, And 2016 They Win In The Wild Card. But At Least They Win A Playoff Game.
I like this prediction cause we win super bowl 2008
except we don't because JT O SULLIVAN would have still been named our starter.. If we would have had a good season in 2007 , we would have had tougher teams(as 08 had a EASY schedule). The 9ers with that talent would have been 8-8 or 9-7 but would have lost in a playoff against ATL or NYG.
This team still didn't have a stable OFFENSIVE LINE and Diversified play calling and a HARD HITTING DEFENSE yet. Again JT O SULLIVAN would have been named started because MARTZ pushed O sullivan hard , since he played with him before.
Yupper Go Birds
I would want to see the 49ers with Rodgers against the 2013 Seattle Seahawks, the super bowl champs that year
If rodgers was drafted by the 9ers then in the 2019-2020 they would be 16-0
Nah I’d say 15-1
And have won multiple bowls
So they would be the second undefeated team to win the Super Bowl since the 1972 Dolphins when they went 14-0 back when it was a 14 week regular season
I don't think you'll see this, but I can hold onto hope! I was hoping you could possibly do a "What if Randy Moss was drafted by the Green Bay Packers with the 19th pick instead of by the Vikings with the 21 pick."
Moss would have been going to a Packers team that just won in 1997, and just lost against John Elway in 1998. Adding a star young player like Moss after playing in back to back superbowls would have been a massive boost to their roster, and they probably would have kept Eugene Robinson, who was a big key to Atlanta's secondary.
Green Bay could have beaten San Francisco and Atlanta with Moss' help and they absolutely could have squared up with Elway and the Broncos after having a year to think about their loss.
If only the niners picked smith; my eagles would have a super bowl😭
This Guy We did pick smith tho...
otis sweatpants lmfao.
3rd Generation Eagles Fan 2002 Well...
I feel the pain too...
Rodgers*
Need a new version of this
This hurts my soul as a niners fan
Look at your 9ers now :)
@-_-SleepyAsf im a packers fan so i was happy
I can understand where you're coming from.
Green Bay made some stupid picks back in the day. Was it the 89(?) draft when the Packers picked Tony Manderich first, an offensive lineman. You know who they could of had? They looked right past one of the greatest running backs in the history of the NFL; Barry Sanders. To this day I still believe Sanders would have gotten a Super Bowl ring if GB picked him.
Imagine Brett Favre having Sanders behind him.
Favre. Sanders. Sharpe.
It's way in the past, but damn, that would have been an unstoppable trio.
Favre actually went to the Jets after he retired the first time...don't know if this was cut out or was left out unintentionally. Other than that, good video!
He came back to GB because they never had Rodgers
Bro, the Steelers wouldn't lose two Super Bowls in three years. That's just insulting.
You're right
They wouldn't make it at all
@@frankfort332 bc of Ray
I don't think Aaron would have had the career. Rodgers sitting behind Favre was the best thing that could have happened to him.
KTO make a "If the Browns drafted Big Ben".
MisterJay23 They would trade him after one game for a 7th round pick end of video
Rodgers didn't learn much from Favre. He learned it from Mike McCarthy's QB school. And MM was the offensive coordinator of the 9ers at the time Aaron was drafted. So rodgers would've still been terrific
Why doesn't Smith go to the packers?
Fall-out-kid25 because he wouldn't have fallen that low
plus the bucs were looking for a qb in the draft, but they didn't like rodgers as much as they liked carnell williams
Also there were problems with mechanics, attitude, and a slew of gay rumors that Smith didnt have to deal with.
Because he goes to the bucs
Alex Smith Was Coming Off The Legendary (I Say That As A Utah Alum) 12-0 Year, And Beating Alabama. There’s No Way He Would Fall Low.
I love these videos you do. The what if draft choices and how that’d change things. Please do more!!!!
Wouldn't the browns try for Cam? I mean he seems like a better choice so they don't have to run Peterson as much
Panthers prob still had 1st pick
I'm a Browns fan... We could of had Kapernick and Peterson
Rodgers wouldnt have change anything the niners in 2004 were really bad !
I think it's no coincidence that the two best QB's currently playing spent time sitting on a bench learning from very good QB1's in front of them early in their careers. I know many good QB's didn't do that, but most did. Favre sat on the bench early on, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, I think starting as a rookie is usually a disservice to the player, but that is the current culture. Big Ben and Peyton started early; if I'm not mistaken, Peyton did poorly his rookie season, and Big Ben did well. The caveat being that Big Ben had the Bus his rookie season, obviously, dominant run game sets up the pass for success.
I know you mentioned it, but I really believe the bench time did Rodgers a lot of good, especially getting to watch a guy like Favre. Also, by the time he started, the game had already "slowed down" for him, so he didn't have to go through that in a trial by fire like Alex Smith did. Not to mention having the opportunity to see the non-mechanical aspect to being a good QB in the NFL. How to prepare, how to lead, how to work the huddle, the proper way to call out a player who isn't meeting expectations
Lastly, QB is a lot like playing corner, in that it's a confidence position, your self confidence is all important, and a bad rookie season can destroy that permanently. Ask David Carr... The man may not have been a bust had my Texans protected him, instead we destroyed his confidence and ensured he'd never be good. Rodgers was spared the trial by fire, and so his self confidence was protected.
Anyhow, nice video, I enjoyed it. Thanks for feeding my football addiction while I wait for preseason!
Funny How Total Pro Sports Upload The Same Topic A Year Later 😂😂😂 Reminds Me Why I Never Sub To Them
Thanks for making this video. I fantasize about this all the time. I always believed that something like this would happen if we drafted Aaron Rodgers instead.
They would have ruined his career just like they ruined Smith's. Smith is a very good QB. I would take him over Brady every day of the week. There are 6 more I would take over Brady right now too but that is another story... I'm just saying he is top 10 in the NFL right now. When my team lets him throw the ball he does very well for a "over the hill nobody".
Hyperslow lmao dumb
Wow your delusional
And that's why he's been traded twice. You must not watch football
They would of won more Superbowls with Aaron Rodgers
Hyperslow I truly hate Brady and the patriots but he’s top 3 all time man. Hate to admit but I’m not gonna lie to myself
I have known Alex Smith since 2000 back at Helix high school
2000 & 2001 Back to back CIF San Diego County and State Champs !!
🏆 +🏆 ..once a Scottie always a scottie!! As a Helix Highlander alumni and a 49er Faithful i was so proud and excited when my 49ers drafted Alex. If we would have block for him better and he didn't go through like 5 head coaching changes and had Jim Harbaugh the whole time he would have got his ring with the Niners and Kaepernick would have never started but Alex got hurt just after his best performance of his career. In that divisional playoff game against Brees and Saint's to get to the NFC Championship..
ARod is one of the best but i was pumped when we chose Alex Smith.
he probably would've got a career ending injury in his rookie year
You should do a “what if Houston drafted Vince Young” one. I think that would do numbers.
mike singletary was an awful coach literally screaming at his qb on the sidelines
That QB never played again after that game
Now that's how i officially know im getting old, i remember watching when it came out, 6 YEARS AGO
The amount of effort and time you put in your videos I honestly appreciate and look up to you
I think Aaron rodgers is better.
Obviously
They wanted won more Super Bowls
I guess the Packers drafting Rodgers and bringing him into the NFC North really was the best thing to happen to the Vikings. Who would've thought.
I think the ultimate alternative universe would be if Ted Thomson wasn't such a cheapskate and gave the Raiders a 4th round pick for Randy Moss New England wouldn't have went to the Super Bowl in 2007 and Green Bay would have smashed any team Brett Favre retires after winning the super Bowl and when Rodgers starts in 2008 he has Moss,Driver, and Greg Jennings and that rock solid pass blocking O- line. The Packers Go on to win another couple of Super Bowls. And If Ted Thomson would have got his head outta his ass and traded a 5th round pick to buffalo for Marshawn Lynch. by the way There was a article in The Milwaukee journal sentinel about how Aaron Rodgers was all for it and we needed a running back with Ryan Grant gone. No joke! Green Bay then should have picked up Darelle revis after Tampa bay gave up the kitchen sink for him then released him the year after Green Bay would have destroyed any team they faced with these additions plus we had more than enough salary cap. Instead of everybody talking about the Patriots the packers would have had won more Super Bowls than them just think of Rodgers, Moss, Jennings, and Beastmode on the same team we would slaughter anybody then with Revis added in 2012 it would keep Green Bay elite but thanks to Ted Thomson we never have reached being a dynasty and we may never in the future unless we have Elliot Wolfe take over
Please do if the Cleveland Browns drafted right starting from either 1999 or 2010 :)
At 8:44 u said the niners win the nfc north. ...lol last time I checked they were in the west
haha
i noticed it too, was gonna say something but had to read the comments first to see if anybody else mentioned it
As a lifelong Niners fan, this stung me for years.
Rodgers is better than Brady, Brady has way more and the stats still show Arod is better
+Steelers Nation lol
no you guys are just butthurt. have fun watching every analyst call him the goat
Come On no duh Arron is hurt BRUH
Come On Aaron is hurt imbecile
Brady is more clutch!!
09 and Favre huh? I see what you did there. I agree man.
alex smith came to a team that was awful team, he had no help besides frank gore. gore played his heart out wile defense were stacking the box. alex smith had 7 different offense coaches. Nolan was trying to built like the ravens. a good running with a good defense. alex smith first years so bad. it was one of the worst quarterback rookie ever had. I remember his first start against the colt. he threw pics, bad passes and his rating the lowest. please correct me if I'm wrong. it was 1.5. alex smith got hiss ass handed to him on a daily sunday....I actually went to the game when alex smith threw his first TD pass to Brandon Lloyd. the 49ers were 3 -12 when the faced the Houston texas. me and my friends drove is horrible weather just to see the game. when norv turner became offense coach. alex smith played much better and was gaining confidence. I remember the fist couple games, they gotten blown out. and Nolan change defense and there defense gotten better and we won 3 games in a row. all close games. they were 5-5 and they played against the rams. they had I think 2:15 on the clock and there on the rams 10 yard line, and it was 4th down. Nolan needed make a decision. they were winning the game. so either kick a field goal or go on 4th down and score a touchdown to put the game way. Nolan decided to kick a field goal and made it. so they kick to the rams and ram put on a game winning drive with few seconds left, after the loss, there were a lot of heated exchange b/c some players thought went for the touchdown and even if they didn't get it. rams would started at there own 5 yard line. Games like that can kill motives of a team for the rest of season. but last game. they played against Denver and the 49ers had nothing to play for or if they lost, it wouldn't affect the order of that draft. but Denver needed to win to make the playoffs and play the following in a wild card. it went to overtime and the 49ers kick the winning goal...........everybody excepted 49ers to take the next step to be a contender. but season turned out to be really horrible. they went 5-11 and alex smith broke his shoulder, and he tried to come back and played with a bad shoulder...Nolan question his toughness. but alex smith took it really well, kept his mouth shut. the following season. even before alex smith hurt shoulder really bad and done for the season. mike marz was the offense coach. he said alex smith would play great under his system...but the fired Nolan in the middle of the season. and one of the greatest linebackers all time. Mike singletary. and I thought he is exact what he need. he can bring that passion and toughness. following year. the 49ers go 4-0 in the preseason but he went 8 - 8 record. now that singletary was a full time coach. the media and 49ers fans and experts said 49ers should make the playoffs. they went 6 -10 and this had to be one of the most worst nights for alex smith. it was a sunday night game home against eagles. and he played very awful. bad throws and wasn't on the same page on receiver's. then you hear the boos and there mike singletary chewing your ear out, on national t.v..........when the season over. they fired mike singletary. and after his firing. he told reporters u need a good quarterback...alex smith took it and smile. and he was a free agent. and there was harbaugh our new coach. harbaugh just wanted to talk to smith. and pass the ball round. I guess they really click and smith decides to come back. everybody said jim harbaugh will be the laughing stock. and that's when alex smith was becoming a good quarterback he didn't have the numbers but yes his numbers was low.especially his ints and mistakes. he played his best game against the saints drew brees. and if kyle Williams to stay away from the ball. we would won the game
Good recap
I love these videos, and congratulations on getting a good draft with Myles Garrett and the squad.
I liked the video, but Rodgers is better than brady.
Still think that?
wrong
As a 49ers fan this is painful to think about. We could've had one of the best quarterbacks ever but instead we drafted a guy who's deathly afraid of throwing the ball deep and isn't even on the team anymore.
GO PACK GO!!
Might’ve had like 10 49ers-Patriots Super Bowl, 49ers consistently has so many weapon
I think would be the same, the 49ers were terrible in those years and Rodgers would be beaten up quite a bit behind possibly the league's worst supporting cast. On the other hand, Brett Favre would have finished his career with the Packers and someone else would have been his replacement there. possibly Alex Smith. I never really saw Smith or Rodgers much different than one another, only difference is Rodgers had a much better team around in Green Bay just waiting to be handed the reigns to.
Evan Williams Maybe never saw the difference when coming out of the draft but Rodgers had probably the biggest ceiling in NFL History.Even if they places Smith doesn't become Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre good his ceiling wasn't that high but he be in a better situation.
Actually, the Lions would've selected AP instead of Thomas in the alternate scenario. Matt Millen said he would've taken AP had Megatron not been available in a 2015 interview while looking back on the '07 draft.
Good video but Rodgers is better than brady.
KTO you make awesome what if videos. I can tell your gonna get more attention with topics like this
Wow, respect your knowledge in making this video. But was Singletary the SB coach for the 49ers? There's a flaw in your analysis. Singletary was a terrible coach. Really awful. Mike McCarthy is a great coach. You need a great coach and great QB to win a SB or a superb defense.
ytesb1 not true defense yes
Mike McCarthy is not a great coach
False. Singletary is the actually the Coach who built the 49ers Team. Harbaugh inherited a bomb squad whose QB and Offense just needed a little TLC. And if Martz was the OC, it would’ve been magic.
“Mike McCarthy is a great coach.”
I like how in 2009 the super bowl players are wearing super bowl LI jerseys
Aaron Rodgers was never cocky. Obviously you haven't watched any interviews of him...
Luke Meola I literally watched interviews of him when he acts cocky lol. And the GM of the niners admitted it's one of the reasons he didn't pick him.
Luke Meola when he was in college he was now he's more calm
KTO odd. Maybe he's calmed down a bit after college.
Luke Meola yeah, he's cool as hell now lol
Luke Meola he was an asshole in college
What if's that we should see in the foreseeable future.
1. What if Phillip Lindsay went to the Ravens?
2. What if the Eagles won super bowl 39?
3. What if Sean Taylor never died?
4. What if the Bills won 1 of the 5 super bowls they were in?
5. What if the Cardinals won against the steelers?
6. What if the Falcons never blew the lead?
7. What if Ryan Leaf was actually good?
8. What if Tom Brady was never drafted?
9. What if Peyton never got injured?
10. What if Jonny Manizel wasn't a bust?
11. What if Alex Smith was not a bust before going to the chiefs?
12. What if the 49ers won their 6th and 7th sb's?
13. What if the browns were good 2019-2020?
14. What if Calvin Johnson never retired early?
15. What if
16. What if What if the Browns and Lions never went 0-16?
To be continued, suggest more to me.
Couple of questions, dude.
If the Bucs were good the year beforeC how did they still end up with a high draft pick to be able to draft Talib?
What was the Chargers’ cap space when they let go of Tomlinson? I don’t recall them being in a situation where they could have signed a big time FA like Peterson.
Love the concept of these videos. Please keep then coming
Rogers would have gone to a dysfunctional 49er team and life would be totally different. Alex Smith goes to the Packers and his career would be a Hall of Fame career. Smith is also an above average quarterback.
Packers fan here, and Goddamn, if the Packers had given Rodgers a consistently good defense like the Pats did for Brady, Packers would have won a couple more SBs. If AR12 was drafted by the 49ers, they'd possibly have outshined the Pats dynasty.
this is one of the best vids I ever seen and I don't even watch football.
Crazy to think the Packers landing Rodgers led to the Vikings being more successful.
How are they more successful? Since Rodgers was drafted, the packers won a superbowl and the Vikings won none.
As a niner fan, there is not one thing I wish would’ve happened more than us selecting Rodgers :\ all those years as a kid having to grow up watching rattay and Shaun hill, then Alex Smith being awful. Maaan it was tough watching us hoping we would lose just so we could have a good pick. This video hurts man :(
Aaron Rodgers was a good pick for Green Bay because he learned behind one of NFLS best Brett Favre. So now Rodgers is a legend
What about this: In the 2003 NFL the Ravens don't trade their #1 pick in 2004 for the Pats 2003 #1 pick- 19th overall, where they took Kyle Bowl of Crap, I mean Boller. What if the Ravens kept their 2004 #1 pick and stayed at #21 and took Rodgers? Or took Vince Wilfork?
Wow! This is quite an interesting "What If". I was talking with my brother about this very same thing years ago. We live in the North Bay Area and so we definitely follow the 49ers. Although I'm the Raiders fan of the family. He said, "What if the 49ers Drafted Aaron Rodgers and the Packers drafted Alex Smith?" My answer was a complete alternative. "What if the 49ers drafted Aaron Rodgers and then the Packers drafted Jason Campbell therefore making the Redskins draft Alex Smith?"
I started thinking about that scenario recently and figured that the Packers would actually win the 2010 Super Bowl with Campbell as the Packers team as a whole was outstanding, plus Campbell played pretty solid up to that point and he learned from Brett Favre. I remember watching Campbell with the Raiders that year and he wasn't spectacular, but he was pretty good. Almost brought them to the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers would win the Super Bowl with the 49ers in 2012, maybe even 2011 as well and potentially even in 2013 if the Broncos still choke when they make it there.
And as for Alex Smith, he shows some bright spots with the Redskins and they go to the playoffs about the same amount of times they did with Campbell there, but just like in real life, they ultimately decide to trade for Donovan McNabb leaving Smith looking for a team. The logical scenario would be for Smith to go to the Raiders like what Campbell did, but help the Raiders improve even more than just 8-8 unlike when Campbell and Bruce Gradkowski had to fight for the starting QB spot. With Smith's accuracy and much higher consistency, it's more obvious who the choice would be. The Raiders may end up making it to the playoffs in 2010 and may possibly make it in 2011 especially since that was one of Smith's best years as a 49er in real life. But I'm not sure if the Raiders would have gone for Smith in the first place. Al Davis always went for a QB with a powerful arm. Smith isn't really known for that. I know a team still would have gone for him though.
BroadswordMedia yeah that scenario is interesting, and makes sense. Could totally see it going that way
I'm still bitter about my Niners NOT choosing Aaron!
No outro music? Come on man I stayed in there and watched the entire vid just for that. Thumbs up anyway
Favre played for the Jets in 2008, not the Vikings. I wonder if Colin Kaepernick would've still kneeled during the anthem if he was a Brown. Even though a lot would be different in the league, the 49ers played it safe and have had multiple starting quarterbacks since then and the Packers only ever needed Rodgers.
I wish your videos would get more attention. (They are incredible)
