What are your thoughts on a moody-colored Christmas table? Do you like the moody colors, or do you prefer the traditional red and green holiday colors?
I loved all the elements of your design, but I think it was a little too busy on the table. I particularly loved the deer! I think I would have used the little trees on each end of the buffet to make it easier for guests to see each other and used the deer as the main focus of the table scape with the blue bead picks and some natural elements like pine cones and greenery. But all in all very beautiful decor, and I LOVE the blue goblets! I’ve always fancied stemware with square bottoms!
This is stunning but aim wondering how it would function for a meal? I don’t see space for the salt and pepper, butter dish, water pitcher, etc. Do you remove the whole table-scape? I’m just trying to under the practical aspects. But it IS gorgeous.
@@AngelaMinor-k6kyes, they can be removed but not easily. If removed just prior to seating everyone, which I’ve done before, it would disturb the surrounding items and also throw off the composition. That bit of greenery is definitely needed, as is height, but it needs to be, as you said, easily removed during dinner.
I really appreciate the exchange of opinions about my table setting. Yes, the trees are a little high and would make conversations across the table a challenge. I typically avoid using anything in the middle of the table that would impact conversations, but I didn’t this time and you caught me 😊. The two trees are easily removable as they aren’t connected to or supporting anything else on the table. Removing them would lessen the impact of the centerpiece a bit, but not significantly. If I was to remove them, I would just adjust the placement of the reindeer outwards, or move the garland and other filler in toward the reindeer. In either case, it would be a quick and easy change. *You might like my next table setting (no tall trees 😊) ~ I just finished recording it.

I love all shades of blue. Very pretty! Your glassware is exquisite!
I too love blue!!! Thanks you so much! 😀
Just as an additional idea the moody centerpiece would be gorgeous on the buffet server!
I absolutely love that flatware.
Thank you! I found it on Facebook Marketplace.

Thanks for the tutorial. I have these same colors in my bedroom but I’m just not a fan of them in this setting. Guess I’m just a traditional gal.
You’re welcome 😊 You're bedroom must be lovely!! I totally get not being a fan of these colors for Christmas ~ always fun to experiment! 😀
Sorry, no conversation will be had by your guests to each other, your trees are too large
Easily removed if an issue.
I agree. That was my first thought when she placed them.
