Ok, so I've watched a few of your videos now. I was going to comment on the Autobot only counterpart to this video, but comments are turned off. I'm assuming it would be because of a lot of negativity in the comments, in regards to something I"m going to mention here. Firstly, you didn't ask me for my opinion, I get that, but I'm giving it anyway, My goal is to be positive, and if I can be, helpful. I like seeing people being successful at something they do, and you clearly have attained a level of success, but there are ways to make larger gains there. I may or may not have some opinions that could help in that regard. At the same time, they could harm your success, or have no effect at all. But with that out of the way, here is my good and let's say "has room for improvement" of course in my opinion, I only speak to that. The good. This is a GREAT form factor! I love it, I really do! You have managed to come into a very crowded genre of content, and come up with a unique format, that is engaging and entertaining! You have managed to get 10's of thousands of views on very long videos. A feat that is difficult for most creators, or so I hear. I think the choices you make in the line up is spot on. Really good idea making these this way. Your videography is done well. Your colors are close to natural, not doing much in altering the bots real life colors, and they pop! Things I'd work on if I were making this content. I'd spend a lot more prefilm time with each toy, getting a very firm grasp on every facet of the transformation, and coming to a place where I make it look effortless, and streamlined. Your style here, affords you a luxury that the reviewers don't always have, unless they employ dishonesty and thievery to get toys ridiculously early. You can take your time! You don't have to rush to beat the crowd with these videos, so taking that time to learn these guys every nuance, inside and out, is something you can do. You really would do well to take that advantage. I see many mistransformations, but mostly I keep thinking "If you have to hold the guy together, you aren't done with the transformation." Taking time to learn where every tab and slot is, and making all of the panels interlock the way they're intended to, is what makes these guys look cohesive, and solid. Plus, every time you take one from bot to alt and back, you get more and more fluid with it, and quicker too. The end result will be shaving time off of this longer format, which could very well result in higher engagement. Also, on white bots, your absolutely GREAT lighting can wash them out. Just something to keep in mind. My thoughts on getting you to a milly subs. This is just me throwing out ideas I had that I'm offering for your consideration. The critique is over, and I'll say here, the idea is a really great one, and you've put in some work. It's paid off, you're headed toward 600k, and that is a very nice acheivement you should be proud of! I'm a fan, I do dig this content, and will be active on your channel going forwatd. So, here's just a few things you could try if you like. Who knows how they'll be received. 1> When you've got a pair of moldmates, in the same video, back to back transformations can potentially get people bored. A thing that may fix this potential issue, is going from bot to alt on say Bumblebee, but alt to bot on Cliffjumper just after. Have one in each mode at the onset, and see how people like it. I'd enjoy that myself. 2> I touched on the white bots, in your white box. Your lighting is phenominal! But as I said, Ratchet, and to a lesser degree Arcee "in a video I watched, possibly not this one, maybe this is the one where it's Starscream" get lost in all that glorious detail amplifying light. Maybe if it can be edited in a way to not be jarring, reduciing the light a little when the bot is a very bright/white color will help them get as much spotlight "pun intended" as the guys with a little more color on them. You could even possibly invest in a darker light box, for lighter bots, but that could limit you in a way. Some thought would ned to be put into the execution, but I feel it could be a positive thing in the end. 3> talking botsss.... Really? I am a naturally sarcastic guy, so I love the fact that is your channel name, and you don't say a word lmao! LOVE IT! It could throw other folks off maybe? But changing it now, a half million subs in, is probably not wise, so I thought how about perhaps you set a goal, like 750 subs, and you'll "talk" in a review or something like that. Maybe the 750k sub special could be a HUGE deal you promote everywhere, saying you'll reveal what you sound like. Do the video then deep fake like Morgan Freeman, or the "let's get ready to rumble!" boxing announcer's voice over yours. Even if you have to do like a translation to whoever your biggest market is. Do it just straight Google translate, with that country's most famous voice deepfaked over the super crappy translation. That would be absolutely hilarious!! That's a lot of words up there, but really there's a whole bunch of good aspects I note, a very few not as good things, that could possibly be improved on, and 3 ideas I had I thought you'd possibly enjoy thinking about. I hope you took this in the spirit it was intended, and aren't offended. I also hope you read English lmao! Keep up the hard and great work! I'm going to watch and like some more of your content!
