I actually got these bottles not knowing I couldn’t put in Eileen’s Tacky Glue and haven’t been able to get it clear. It has been that way for some years but I am going to try this in hopes that it opens it. Thanks.
Thanks so much for this! I'm one of your multiple bottle purchasers whose bottle was clogged the very first time I used it. I'm glad I didn't throw out the old bottles and now I will go back and see if I can get them to work again. The one problem I have had on every bottle usually the second time I use it is that my needle comes out of the cap - do you know of a way to prevent that from happening? I just use my chain nose pliers to pull the needle in and out, but would be nice to not have to use those.
This was sooo helpful and I tried it and it worked! I am sharing with my class too, some of whom who have had their bottles and needles clog. My only problem still is that my needle came out of my white top because it was stuck in the glue. Is it possible to get a replacement of just that part?
Honestly I think resin would probably clog and harden in the tip unless it could be cleaned out thoroughly. But that is only a guess as I don't use resin myself.
Mine never clogs. I separate the luer lock blunt tip, clear it with an air filled 10cc luer lock syringe, or water followed by air before putting it away for the day. It’s quick n easy.
I never used my glue because it would not come out and I thought it was a waste of money. Thank you for this video. Much appreciated !!!!!
