- Baxter decided after all your mean comments he is going to quit youtube.... not really but Joe Bonamassa is quitting running his own Instagram and other social media over comments about his hair. If anyone knows how it feels getting comments on hair its him.
I work graveyard on the west coast and you guys are my last break “pick me up”.really helps get me over the last couple hours of work some days. Happy Thanksgiving, for sure I’m thankful for this channel and all who are part if it. 🍻
I love Baxter’s hair! It needs its own instagram! ❤
Baxter’s hair is Carolina Gold!
His hair needs it own zip code lol
Totally 💯
My favorite Baxter's hair comment was that it looks like he combs it with a balloon. Lol
Damn Right! His hair is badass! 🎸😎
Glad you are not quitting Baxter . We love your Robert Smith on crack hairstyle.😂😂😂
Nailed it
2004 called, it wants its “______” on crack” joke format back
at least Robert Wmith built a career with that hair instead of create the worst gear channel on YT
@@kambion you want to put little tiny kisses all over Baxter’s body, admit it
You guys are amazing! I listen to you two daily. Nobody should ever say anything mean about the team at Casino. Not only are they talented but make wonderful and informational videos. I learn something new every time. They engage with their subscribers and fans and it's a rare quality. I so admire you 2, if there were more people like them in the world how much better would we all be!
we know that's vou Baxter...lol just kidding. The guys at Casino are great i also watch all there vids and Baxter cracks me up and jonathans dry humor is perfect match, those two should have a sitcom.
Unfortunately, social media is often like Mos Eisley, a wretched hive of scum and villainy. A degree of anonymity likely contributes to this, as well as a fair amount of projection. Just treat people the same way you would in person. And if they would treat people like that in person, then some introspection is required. I can only hope things improve eventually.
Yeah, social media...I simply ignore the trolls.
Also ur gay
Idk, Baxter is pretty opinionated… had some harsh words for Greg Koch, saying he doesn’t speak English. Not really a huge fan of clowns. Baxter seems like he could use his that chip knocked off his shoulder.
We have to ignore stupid people guys … the majority of the guitar community love you and Joe as well . Keep talking guitars and ignore the noises.❤
But they NEVER talk guitars! They talk movies (that Jonathan has never seen, lol) and everything in between, but guitars? Nooooo... JK, lol
@THECasinoGuitars scammers never sleeping?!!!
Baxter's hair is a subculture of it's own!!!👍
I love this channel. You guys are awesome-Happy Thanksgiving!
To be quite honest, I thought he acted like a big baby. The guy took a cheap shot at his hair. Like who gives a shit? You have to have a sense of humor about yourself.
I work in a warehouse full of blue collar men. Joe wouldn’t last 5 minutes.
Blue collar men are huge babies with bad tempers…….. I work with them too.
@@SAIBOT64 Lol that part is true, but they're usually pretty fine with a simple razzing.
I think the big issue was that it affected a performance. No - looking at social media before you go on stage is not the best idea - but I am happy that he cares more about live performance than “virtual BS”
That's what I'd say too if I blew it on stage lmao
imagine someone telling you the truth, that youre going bald, getting that far under your skin
To quote one of my favorite Warren Zevon songs in regards to Baxter's Hair:
"I saw a werewolf drinkin' a piña colada at Trader Vic's
His hair was perfect...
Ah-hoo, werewolves of London
Ah-hoo!!
Baxter I like your style and your hair and your channel. So please keep up the good work!
Social media turned our inside voices into outside voices. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if more of us could remember mom's advice on civil discourse: if you don't have anything nice to say...
Sometimes it's important to speak up and say things that are uncomfortable. It's rarely important to be mean just to be mean.
Baxter combed his hair with a balloon right before this video just to troll us all haha.
Hey man - fellow guitarist here - I like you guys and your show helps me endure a soul crushing marriage. She "accidentally" destroyed my amp two days ago and then blamed it on me. Now I have a half size, nylon string Cordoba I'm playing. Stay up guys. Much love.
C3M Cadet? That’s my main squeeze.
Saw Joe Bonamassa in concert for the first time in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago. Amazing live show, and new appreciation for his talent.
Too bad you won’t remember the positive ones, but wanted to say that I appreciate learning from both of you. I can feel the warmth and kindness from both of you coming through in the videos. Thank you for sharing and helping me to learn more about guitar.
Baxter and Johnathan
You may remember me and my wife, a couple years ago we drove up from Myrtle Beach on our 25th wedding anniversary trip and I wanted to meet you gentleman, Baxter was so cool to us and showed us where it all happens and John was giving a lesson
You guys are good people and live in Mayberry!!! 😂✌️🤘🏼
Met Joe twice. Super chill and down to earth. Told me he was the Krusty the clown of music. Really a good sense of humor!
Baxter's hair is the ultimate statement of freedom! I love you guys. Don't ever change! Ok, was that a little to thick?
Love y’all and we are thankful for you. Have a great Thanksgiving!
Everyone ages, society is so superficial, you can thank social media for this and lack of parenting skills that created these shallow creatures. I enjoy the videos guys ‼️🇺🇸
What a take
That is a shame. Back when email was still cutting-edge communication, I remember some great advice from a respected mentor, which he applied as a carry-over from the days of snail mail...
When writing an emotional letter, especially one driven by anger, if you must write it, put it in your draft folder for a day or so & occupy your day with other things. More often than not, whatever you were bothered by will blow over by the time you feel like sending it, and you are more likely to delete it.
If you still are compelled to send it, re-read it first. Most likely the vitriol will seem excessive and you are likely filter it to a more pointed and appropriate content.
Such advice saved several worthwhile relationships over the years.
The problem with social media is that we have no such safeguards and people value what they can burn others on more than the person themselves. Even if it is regretted and deleted, it is too late because the damage has been done and screenshots live forever.
Most importantly, don't engage with trolls or mean/angry people online. It only feeds their purpose.
It's well known that careless talk costs lives. As demonstrated in "The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy" where the opposing General resplendent in his jeweled battle shorts dared his opposite to take back the comment he'd said about his mother. Only to hear Arthur Dent's observation, "I seem to be having this tremendous difficulty with MY lifestyle." And there was nothing for it but to wage terrible war.
Thanks for hitting this topic!! Some people think they are being funny with their comments when in reality they are just making themselves look stupid.
"The blues cruise is my idea of hell" lol...keep on doing what you're doing, people love it!
This channel is my comfort channel man I always love hearing them talk about different things in the guitar community
As long as you 2 don’t quit social media. I love watching your videos here in Birmingham England and one day I have said to my wife we will visit and buy a guitar from your store 👍🏻
Bro! We love your hair!
I am 52 years old and Baxter's hairdo is one of the most usual I have ever seen but, I kinda dig the originality. All the best guys! Happy Thanksgiving.
If I still had hair, I'd have a hair off with him. 😅, it is pretty cool
The blues cruise Lovecraft thing just got my mind going… “And now a special guest on the stage… Cthulhu!!!”😂😂😂
I worked at Bonamassa Guitars doing repair work. People out there just don't understand Central NY mannerisms. I blame the climate. Anyways, Joe comes from an amazing family and fantastic community near Utica. His dad (Len) was a joy to work for. Super hilarious dude. Cracked me up daily. And listening to the stories he and Bob Aquaviva would tell about the early days of Joe's career were entertaining to say the least.
Ironically, X-mas 2008 Joe came home and visited a local music store, and NO ONE even blinked at him. A few of us just stood there chatting away... 2009 'Live from Albert Hall' comes out, that following X-mas word got out he was going to drop by and do a meet and greet, and you couldn't get through the door. Standing room only.
I feel this. I uploaded a cover of a song and someone commented ''shame about the vocals.''
How can you say something like that? I bet that person can't sing a single note. Those are the ones who attack.
Hurt-people hurt people
You guys both rock !
Agreed, also on Baxter's comment on having a Joe Bonamassa video that he goes back to I have one too. It's the video "Joe Bonamassa & Jimmy Vivino Tribute to John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers (Full Show) on 8/27/18" just a couple of players enjoying themselves playing some great tunes and the twin tone of a Burst and Junior ...it inspires me every time I watch it. Cheers and keep up the great work!
Joe calling out one particular dude is a super villain origin story waiting to happen 😂
I wish I had Facebook so I could check out his page lol
I have no room to judge. Baxter still has hair. Mine has left the building and don’t think it is returning for an encore performance.
The hair is great! Just come across your channel and love watching you guys. Have a great day!
Happy Thanksgiving! Ignore the negativity
Negative comments are very powerful, if a woman wears a dress to a party and fifty people say she looks amazing, and one says "that dress makes your ass look fat" that women will never wear that dress again
Many years ago, the TV was on in another room and I heard this guitar just _wailing_ and I had to go check it out. There’s Joe, live at the Royal Albert Hall. I sat down, transfixed. I’m thinking, “Who is this guy??” I hadn’t thought about guitars in a long time. Never heard of him. Had to wait for the PBS pledge break for them to tell me who it was. Right there, he made me go dig up my old guitar, and I’ve been in love with the instrument ever since.
Love you guys! Happy Thanksgiving and don’t feed the trolls!
Joe B. is a "listening art", not a "visual art...I, too, dropped out of social media b/c of the nastiness it devolved into...not necessarily towards myself either...just made me ashamed to be a member of the same species...the most heart wrenching of all is that we humans can do much better than what we do but don't.
People often say horrible things that they would never say to a live person. It takes courage to put yourself out there and this is one of my favorite sites. I hope to visit one day and but a Casino Guitar pick :)
Personally I admire a man who's secure enough to comb his hair with a balloon. Both you guys rock. And anyone (including me) who takes time to write a comment (other than just to feed the algorithm) isn't really someone who should be taken seriously. I don't do social (antisocial?) media but I hate it that Bonamassa has been driven out. Like John Mayor, I love Bonamassa's playing and if he's sometimes a dick, I'm fine with that - he has his opinions and he's entitled to them. It's the Internet, don't mean nothing, and Twitter, Facebook, etc. mean even less.
That sucks the people hassle you guys. I love your videos; it's like hanging out with a couple buddies talking about guitars. Keep up the great work
That's too bad that the keyboard warriors can have such an outsized effect. People can be be very mean and lack empathy. The most unfortunate thing is that more than 90% of people are actually nice. It's that less than 10% that ruin it for everyone. Just know that if it's a public comment, most other people can see it for what is. Most trolls only make themselves look bad.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I agree. I could do a “blues cruise”. I couldn’t spend a week at sea with those pentatonic pirates.
You are the “Albert Einstein” of RUclips guitar. It’s yours….you own it.
Social media is awful so negative, so many nobodies disenfranchised and lost it’s pathetic..
I have used it to gather info on guitar shops, vinyl sellers and various repair guys etc being a vintage guy then once I got my set of guys and gals together I have quit.
Baxter is pretty cool
looking and always nicely dressed too.
To be authentic you gotta be honest. That makes you vulnerable. Stay Honest 🎸
Brilliant Minds Talk About IDEAS, Small Minds Talk About People.
He reminds me of Beaker from the Muppets.
I would like to see what the hair of the negative posters looks like.
I am not that active on social media but I have gotten death wishes because I believe in God. People can be terrible. I love your vids because they provide an escape from the “important” political things of the day. It’s just fun stuff…and can be informative on something I like.
I am envious of people with faith and I see the value of having a shared moral code and community. People that insult you because of your faith are projecting their own envy and unhappiness on to you and it’s sickening, but that’s todays hate filled device addicted society, peace ✌🏻
One of the only reasons I watch.. It’s AMAZING!!! Love watching you guys.. I hope to visit soon.
Baxter and Jonathan, you two are awesome! Love your informative humor and hope you and your families have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Baxter and Jonathan! So cute together
I am guessing that Joe has already been thinking that about his hair. That person hit a soft spot. I myself have been struggling with getting old. Joe please turn this into a positive. Older blues musicians have more of a story to tell. -Peace and Love to all
Jonathan, I’ve seen you play; you’re a monster, not just a nail clipping. Wish I could play like that after 60 yrs.!
I clicked on the first Casino video because of thumbnail with Baxter's hair. Long time subscriber!
You guys always entertain. Thanks for the daily banter.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!! It's getting sader every day that people have to make B S remarks about something or someone!! They can't come up with anything good so they have to lash out on people!! You guys are great!! I watch and enjoy you daily. I'm looking for something and plan on contacting you soon. Nobody is perfect and the one's that just dish the B S are on the bottom of the list!!!! All you people on here trying to do good things, please keep it up!!!!
70 to 85% of men lose their hair. I think most of the mean comments come from younger men projecting their own fears.
Hairlines are genetic. Whoever is insulting Joe is actually talking trash about Joe's mother's father, and making fun of someone's granddaddy is NOT cool.
Most big time players I know don't do their own social media and rarely ever look at it. For that reason
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
As a crusty old boomer, we didnt have social media back in the day to stay anonymous when we said something ignorant and or hateful, because if you said something ignorant and hateful to someone you may or may not know, you may get punched in the face. Those days are long gone. Keep up the great content fellers! Oh yea, just be glad you HAVE hair Baxter😬.
Baxter’s hair plays Tumbling Tumbleweeds as it’s own walk on music
Recently, I said something on CL relating to honesty. Some guy sent an email calling me ever bad name. I got on CL and posted his email. I ended with 'nobody gives a shit what you think, Now, sit down and shut up'. The end!
Just on cruising,I survived a cruise ,barely, and the saving grace was the live music. A tiny glimmer of excitement in an otherwise crap experience. Staring at the ocean got old real quick.
Jeez, I hope you're not sore at me about my light hearted I thought comment about your very unique haircut. I have no hair I used my hair up when I was young. I'm 77 now I don't have hair I have hairs all over in funny places. You guys totally rock in my book.
Guthrie Trapp has a great approach to trolls. He says music should be fun and no one should get hurt doing it. He just blocks folks that troll him. I agree that Joe Bonamassa should not leave social media; hopefully there is a healthy balance for him and we will continue to see him. Thanks as always….
Everyone is a critic. If you don’t like it move on.
“Eat, Sleep, work, and play guitar”
LOL... I remember witching my first Casino video thinking, "Wow, I didn't know Tim Burton played guitar."
Baxter inspired me to grow my mullet out
You guys are amazing, thank you for doing what you do. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to all at Casino Guitars
This is one of my most watched channels! ❤
I’ve heard that Baxter spends hours each morning getting his hair just right.
I wasn't even going to watch this, and then I was gonna make fun of your hair, but then I listened and found some genuine insight and wisdom in this video. Dealing with net issues can be tough. Definitely you have to just let it go. The majority of people see things for what they are.
I think it is awesome that Giorgio has so many talents. Investigating ancient aliens and now I found out he plays guitar!
We’re all targets in social media, and most trolls are are sad angry lonely people , best thing to do is take a breath and ignore , which is hard to do, but gets easier , thanks guys , good topic to discuss
Love your vids, you guys are great! Sorry you get neg comments. Joe’s IG was great, especially sitting in a chair playing. This was a good topic, thx guys.
“Blues Cruise” made me think of the Kids Show Blues Clues 😂 I immediately thought, why would anyone want to go on one of those?
For a little over a year now, just after I wake, pee, an brush my teefs. Got my dark roast coffee at my side. My Les Paul either on the stand next to my tv tray or in my lap. Big screen an subwoofer crankin' out Baxter, Jonathan and Casino Guitars. Ya'll are a staple in my daily routines here in Texas ❤☺🎶🎸👍
BTW: Joey B is a beast! There's NO player like him or John Mayer. Both those guy's are just so unique. God bless.❤☺👍
I think Baxter and Jonathan should trade hairstyles in a very special episode of Casino Guitars. We could all learn something about friendship, tolerance and hairstyling. It could bring Joe back to social media and create world peace in our time.
I imagine a cruise to be like going on a vacation with Walmart customers that have had their crazy photos on the internet. Absolute nightmare.🤢
Guitar player internet is way toxic I think it's because it has a disproportionate population of old a hole dudes who's dreams were dashed years ago and there's Hella bitterness inside them. It's always dudes too I'd bet the mean comments from female musicians are literally 0%.
Both of your have lovely hair. Screw the haters!
Weird, it almost feels like me and Baxter just talked about this the other day.... Lol, on a serious note it was great meeting all of you guys at the shop, I'll drop by again next time I'm in town!
Like Joe Rogan says… Never read the comments. But just in case you do, you guys are great.
If I was to quit over hair, I would never have been on it to begin with.
There are a lot of good reasons not to give energy to social media (except youtube)
:D
Guys,
Please check your transmitters they are cutting out.
Baxter, my wife, loves to comment on your hair! I find it immensely quirky, and it's your thing! Keep it up if you love it!! Be well!!
Almost felt personal till I realized everyone won a prize.
I used to wear my hair parted down the middle like Jonathan. Now I wear my hair departed down the middle. As long as I get a tan...
met Frampton on the blues cruise 2019.... it was AMAZING. Baxter... you're in denial.
BTW Joe also did Joanna Shaw Taylor's last album.
and when we met him he was a prince!
People suck. Having said that, my son’s high school band director has hair exactly like Jonathan’s and I think it’s very cool.
Baxter's hair is totally why I subscribed.... and why I hit the notification bell....
Baxter's hair is the only logical thing in the universe. Logical considering how much high voltage he deals with at work.
Ha-ha!! I trolled Baxter and dropped the name of an AC/DC album at the same time!!
Look at it on the bright side, in order for one to comments on their hair, one has to have hair..............
If someone throws you in the gutter, look up, you’ll see the stars. Thanks for the fun, irreverent and informative videos. Greetings from 🇨🇦. Happy US Thanksgiving.
