It’s weird how the last few big tournaments labrynth hasn’t seen many tops but when that deck gets into top cut it usually goes deep. Seems like a lot of lab players don’t play the deck good enough and the ones that do play the deck well are rewarded.
Precisely this. Here in South America labrynth isn't that popular and even then, out of 5 labrynth players, only 1 of them is really good with the deck.
i think this is wrong, personally the lab players who made it to top cut were those who just didnt get screwed by variance and didnt run into a million back removals like evenly, duster, cyclone etc etc. I think the deck isnt very hard to play its more likely that people are playing it just fine just those who dont go far probably got insanley unlucky. With lab you either get hit with every counter in the book or you get to roam free, theres never any even ground where you can play through some interuption. either the lab player has it and the opponent doesnt or they lose.
@@yunglex2172 nah the deck takes some skill. For example the guy could have won game 2 if he chained stovie to pretty so noir couldn't attach. Honestly has a really good purrely match up because going first you d barrier them and going second you can hand trap them to death. Just takes a good amount of resource and board state management because the deck doesn't close out games that easily.
@@shawnjaveryeverything is hand dependent as well in lab, doesn't matter the skill is, how long you know the deck or how consistent the build is. If you open crap or your opponent miraculously opens all the counters exactly enough to stop you entirely, so I agree the guy above, the Lab players that got far in the top are really fortunate because there are a lot of counters against lab that could blow you out in an instant
The last turn of game one where the lab player didn’t set welcome off it’s effect is because they wanted to use it on field. Both effects are hard opt so he couldn’t do both
5:32 ish you stated you think that they negated the arianna from deck, well it have to be cause they cant chain to negate the one on field since lovely out no monster effect can be played in response too normal trap effects, and once the new one summoned they have to be a idiot to negate the one already on field and not the summon one in my opinion
The monster summoned with the welcome labrynth was chandelier not arianna, so it went to the grave with zeus, the second arianna was summoned next turn from deck not from grave.
Not negates, more like chain blocks the cat xyz to attach. That effect has to be chained directly to a Purrely quick play, just like how Lady effect has to be chained directly to a trap
Labrynth is a deck that really needs some pilot behind especially how you use the big Welcome, but can be hard counter from ashe . Also i think purely is a match up that depends on who is going 1 in the best of 3 . Because as you can stop the attachment they can also stop the search for the D barrier. Overall i think is a bad match up for labrynth
i 100% said carlos/chris right , last names are extra names added for no reason so if i get it wrong that’s not on me that’s on you for having a last name
This is 10/10 man honestly good shit making a better feature than Konami did written.

really enjoy this kind of content having it visually play out makes it so much better + plus your peak commentary ofc
lmao i'm 2 mins in, PurrelyGrinder getting kinda toxic ngl
I love this kind of content! Keep up the grind! We as a collective group have to respect the effort!

that’s not true , that’s only true with big welcome
They didn't set it because it was sent to GY THAT TURN by Zeus detaching it. Welcome has "except the turn it was sent".
How did at 6:40 get chandelier in gy?
it was supposed to be in opening hand over lava golem (this is a reenactment of the actual finals)
How did the chaining of coo clock stop the attachment of delicious at 3:03? I’m just curious
they can’t use the xyz effect to attach in response to cooclock
12:21 ever thought of playing in custom cards and making the blank cards?
i did that for the other matches and people hated seeing them
@@TheDBGrinder ah ok
Hey question where did you find the purrely deck list?
you can find his list on his channel, that’s at the top of my description
Thank you for doing this!!!! Really helpful!!!!!
no problem!
Appreciate u converting these 🙏
7:00 they didnt forget to use welcome, they couldnt, it was under zeus so was sent to grave that turn
OOOOPS
Jaja Carlos is a friend from ecuador great player 🎉🎉🎉 he owns a card store

the one on summon won’t do anything since it was already used
@@TheDBGrinder not sure why they did that play exactally

This was a great interpretation of the match Thx 🙏
I like how he talks in third person even though hes the one playing lmao
i wasnt playing , it was chris vs carlos
can someone explain why or how clock effect stops the effect of Happy Memory
Negates the attach by the cat. You choose to discard to special, so he opted not to use that effect.

Great idea 👏
Por qué cambia el lava golem por un chandraguiel en el cementerio?
cause that’s what they drew in the match but the written guy messed ip
@@TheDBGrinderme imagino que traduciste esto
Let’s gooooooo
13:28 its just a bunch of "Blanc's" ? lmao
Thanks for recreating this duel, you are the MVP.
d barrier is op against everything except unchained
Purrely did not play that so nice did it?
Game 1 shoudve been a win for purrely game 2 was supposed to be easy
Thanks for The advise My purrely deck feels nicer
❤
how can such bad players be in a final
Yay d barrier 😮💨
You gotta pronounce simple names correctly lol
i 100% said carlos/chris right , last names are extra names added for no reason so if i get it wrong that’s not on me that’s on you for having a last name
😂😂😂 shouldn't have had a last name
Aight mr Carter you are gonna be just Richard moving forward 😂😂😂

Nice Game of labrynth.
