"For Liberty" is used every 3 minutes so that you have the buff during burst. The other hyper skills, "Sweeping Staff" and "Master of Death", we use off cooldown.
I would say pretty easy since the telecasting nerf; to me, BaM is one of those classes that is not hard to play but got enough things to keep you interested (unlike some of the crayon classes).
It’s been useless, only used to refresh the dark brand debuff when altars and teleport do not hit the boss. That being said, I did swap out the attack key (on T) for dark chain.
I miss the days where we could spam battle king bar.. hope battle mage gets a revamp and they revert that nerf. 4th job and below bam feels really bad to play compared to way back
Yeah when I played BaM back in the day I wanted to quit the character because the 4th job felt really bad...but I couldn't find another class I enjoyed more and BaM grew on me so here I am.
Believe it or not, weaving in a dark shock teleport every other blow skill is technically a small damage gain. Whether you want to try for or forgo that damage is up to you.

Uhhh idk 3% final damage overall? It’s a nice touch for off-burst.

How do you place altars away from your character?
down arrow + altar will place one in your current position and another at the maximum distance in the direction your character is facing.

If ure gonna telecast why not downcasting? Much faster
Down telecasting is completely dead since 1-to-1 telecasting (1 teleport per blow attack) has been dead for a while now.
