Great job by Isabella with the wonderful music of Sor. Stefan Nitschke has to get a lot more credit than what he does. He understands how to emphasize the great qualities of a guitar. He understands what a guitar should sound like. His guitars have a beautiful magical sound, one that you find when our beautiful instrument is built correctly. I wish the folks who are trying to build guitar shaped pianos would listen hard and well to Stefan's guitars. This is what the beautiful lyrical guitar is meant to sound like. You cannot improve it because it doesn't need improvement when it sounds like this.
Now that is a guitar, ladies and gentlemen. Deep thumping bass of the opened E, boxy sound and beautiful darker tone, Santos is very proud of Stefan right now. Of course the performer and composer are the cherry on the cake but the vid’s main star is by far this super guitar, a traditionally made little jewel. Stefan only makes traditional guitars I think. I haven’t looked at the description but I’m willing to bet anyone this is not one of those double top, lattice braced modern anomalies that when made right, they have everything going for them except most importantly: the charm of the traditional guitar. This Has to be a traditional guitar, and it’s beautiful with a gorgeous sound. Don’t give me flack for gushing; When i suffer through today’s guitar makers poor attempts to recreate Santos, Torres, and Enrique Garcia, and then we finally hear the real thing, gushing is all i can do.
I appreciate your gushing very much, yet for me the video's star is Isabella... such an accomplished guitarist. Furthermore, as my first choice is always a traditional guitar, I feel like I'm having trouble judging the greatness of this guitar. Something here sounds too "antique" to my ears; some freshness is lacking. Maybe if I were to be in the room or playing it myself I would have felt differently. Other than that... when Isabella here on the channel played the 1008 prelude on the Hauser II... oh lord, 'twas the perfect combination between the soul of a guitarist and the soul of a guitar.
@@daneshed2105 too antique, fresh lacking, oh brother lol we have heard Isabella before, and we all know she’s great. The dealer found a wonderful guitarist to show off their new guitar
@Konstantin Ridaya see how different the world is? I love Ana, and I can’t stand her guitar. I only take exception to your comment about the sound of this guitar being nasal. It’s quite the opposite, lattice guitars are often criticized for having a nasal sound. This sounds the way your voice sounds when you cup your hands in front of your mouth. Good violins, good cellos, good guitars should all sound like that. We all have our opinions of course
It is truly amazing how many great women classical guitar players there are....its like the golden age of women classical guitarists. They are just killing it....and Isabella is right at the top of the elite players. There are so many that are stunning though that I would've never known if it weren't for RUclips. She is not just a guitar player, but an incredible musician.
Gorgeous artfulness to Isabella's expressive playing with thrilling dynamics which captivates me as guitarist since she's a master at making melodies sound lively and stir emotions.
Bravo Isabella! Una grandisima música en las manos de una grandisima músico. Esos armónicos fueron insuperables así como la fantástica guitarra en la que interpretas esta inspirada obra.
I like this piece, the structuring, phrasing, modes (?? all those which apply if any🙄). I have NO CLASS, no formal teaching, and very little music theory jargon. My 35yr.s of string experience is limited even with a few personal originals... BOTH guys, the only drummer and electric guitarist I ever spent over a hundred hours working with are deceased.🙏 Yes, I am but a heavy metal and blues electric bass player. Music by "Joe" RULES my preferences... JOE Satriani, JOE Walsh (The Eagles, James Gang and solo) and JOE Bonomassa. 🤘 Appearently you love this piece too, Miss Isabella! Very lovely to my ear and capturing my attention. THANK YOU FOR THE PASSIONATE JAMMING... errrrr, I mean performance! >>>>-----😉----> Stay well, stay awesone✌️
Fernando Sor (bapt. 14 Feb. 1778, died 10 July 1839) was a Spanish classical guitarist and composer of the Early Romantic era. Best known for writing solo classical guitar music, he also composed an opera (at the age of 19), three symphonies, guitar duos, piano music, songs, a Mass, and at least two successful ballets: Cinderella, which received over one hundred performances, and Hercule et Omphale. Born: José Fernando Macario Sors; Barcelona Spain Died: 10 July 1839 (aged 61); Paris Thanks to Isabella for her beautiful rendition
Ms Selder, I love you . . . . What a consummate musician, what musicality rises from you. Thank you, brava!
Welcome back Mrs Selder! Great performance! And a lovely sounding guitar.

Muy lindo! Una gran obra sin duda
Beautiful performance! Are the back and sizes of the guitar in Maple or Cypress?
Yes, nice guitar ---- but--- Isabella would make a cigar box guitar sound beautiful. She has the supreme gift fo talent! Thank you Isabella!!

Was the sound recording instruments having implied special effect ?
