He complied 100% with the instructions, but in an "imaginative" way, to make the full gear as light as possible. Gossip says the organization did not want a non-French to win... Is that the truth? Do you know where is that section in book? I read it because I was curious about this but I didn't notice any mention about that.. even google didn't find much info about that disqualification attempt.. are you sure it's in the first book?
