That was a very different time and he thought white people would never overcome racism. If I were disingenuous and self-serving then he would be correct. Those aren’t my intentions or my actions so I don’t think this applies today.
The Barbary slave trade. Only some live in the past. Some forgive so much it’s almost forgotten. But some don’t want to forget. Millions of white slaves in North Africa. President Julius Malema just had thousands of whyte farmers kelled. The Haiti / ma ss cure. Insane how some for give. Some just want to hate. It will never be enough. It’s played on a loop to separate us. Tony Timpa died the same exact way. Look it up. If the rolls were reversed with Madison Harris a month ago. It would have started riots. For some it will never be enough. It’s to divide us. It’s not working. Me my friends haven’t been tighter. But hate comes for all. Do be confused. Thousands of Irish were killed for replacing slaves. Hung r@ped burnt. It was almost excepted cause they were coming so fast.
And sorry YT doesn’t tell you when you get comments I guess. I saw the like. And was reminding myself of witch video. Wasn’t ignoring ya. Just didn’t see it. Try and spread peace and look up some facts about hate crimes. Or the bureau of justice. Cause it’s not hate crimes in one direction. If more people knew were 90% of came from. The news showed all. People wouldn’t feel like they were being hunted. You ever done racist shit? Neither have I. But they want us to hate. And to look like there’s hate everywhere. Look up the old couple in the cemetery a week ago. Execution style. Until the news starts showing all. Teachers stop teaching your bad if your whyte it ain’t gonna get better. We gotta keep loved ones close. We are at a turning point we all feel it. Will be good or turn out bad. It’s up to us. Quit fanning the fire.
The goal of this movement is equality for black people. It shouldn’t be causing more hate or a deeper divide. And no matter what hate crimes happen around the world, it doesn’t take away from the issues that I talked about and need to be addressed. All hate is an issue, but it doesn’t mean we don’t have a problem here.

What laws, exactly, are racist? The only law that I know of that is actually on the books and used is....... Affirmative Action.......... Which is racist Against Whites
What about the Japanese Americans? They were forced out their homes and thrown into prison camps because of their race. Not to mention we dropped 2 atomic bombs on japan, killed 226000 people and left +100,000s of people with long lasting effects from the radiation. Do the Japanese lives of the following generations matter? My family immigrated from Ireland and faced prosecution, tyranny, starvation, disease and death that stemmed from the English monarchy in the early 20th century. Shouldn't I get reparations from people of British heritage? I mean their ancestors murdered my ancestors. Or is black the only race that gets reparations?
This is pretty amusing considering america did give Japanese Americans reparations. And yes, I also have white ancestors who were persecuted. However, they came to America and found a better life. For Black Americans, the racism, profiling and impact never went away.

Good luck being heard, just for the the color of your skin. We all “made it this far.” But again, you need to be black in America, apparently it’s the only thing that matters. Everyone’s oppressed and depressed from it, it’s a cultural issue, not a race issue. No one wants to hear that truth though.

America was founded on freedom, not slavery the way Julius Jones will want you to believe. People should not ever feel guilty for something that never involved them in the first place. Let go of the bullshit guilt people try to put on you to actually have your mind free of oppressors. Ironic, black lives matter follows to the founder, Julius Jones will have you believe you’re automatically guilty of being an oppressor because you happen to be born with lighter skin. Personally, I’m an Italian American and I’ve never claimed to be a victim because I know it won’t be heard when I’ve been harassed by cops in public areas and parking lots in Buffalo, Ny where I’m from, both by black and white officers just for sitting in my car. Yet we all know the majority of officers and people with badges are around for your safety and uphold their duty to protect to the best of their abilities. No, blm wants to make everything g a race-war if you don’t approve of their make-it-up-as-we-go-along methods, and you’ll be deemed a racist if your white. That’s the exact definition of racism.

POLL: Plurality of Black Americans Prefer “All Lives Matter” Over “Black Lives Matter” We were told the phrase was racist. POLL: Plurality of Black Americans Prefer “All Lives Matter” Over “Black Lives Matter” A new poll shows that not only a wide majority of Americans prefer the phrase “All Lives Matter” over “Black Lives Matter,” but that a plurality of Black Americans identify more with the former than the latter. The Rasmussen survey, which queried 1,000 likely voters from June 15-16th, asked the public “which statement is closest to your own?” Respondents were given the answer of choosing “All Lives Matter” or “Black Lives Matter.” 47% of poll respondents who identified as black phrased their agreement with the phrase “All Lives Matter” over “Black Lives Matter,” with 44% preferring the former. A broad majority of 59% of Americans identified with All Lives Matter, overwhelming bipartisan support for a phrase the ideological Left has been strenuously maintaining is little more than political gaslighting. bigleaguepolitics.com/poll-plurality-of-black-americans-prefer-all-lives-matter-over-black-lives-matter/
POLL: Most Black Americans express support for the Black Lives Matter movement. 71% strongly support and 18% somewhat support= 86% total. Reasons why this Pew Research poll is more credible than the far-right website you linked: Nearly *10 times the amount of people* were surveyed (9,654 U.S. adults on June 4-10, 2020). Everyone was recruited through *national, random sampling of residential addresses* . This way, *nearly all U.S. adults have a chance of selection* . I actually do think that it shouldve been called All Lives Matter BUT when people use the phrase "well don't all lives matter" they are not understanding what the movement is about. We aren't saying that all lives don't matter but that all lives can't matter until Black (probably the second most common race in America) lives do
Until black lives matter, all lives do not matter. Yet. I hope we get to a point someday when they will. Proud of you for standing up for, and speaking for, what you believe.
They don’t only bully black people. People want police reform for everyone to avoid excessive force. When police pushed over the 75 year old white guy in buffalo people were furious. With that said, multiple studies show that police pull over blacks people and search their cars at disproportionate rates. That is just one way to quantify the mistreatment.

How Black Lives Matter’s Antagonism To Marriage And Family Hurts Black Americans BLM seeks to dismantle the very institution that research consistently shows is most likely to aid and empower black Americans: the natural family. Black Lives Matter - the organization, not the irrefutably true statement - has taken center stage in the necessary debate on race today, overshadowing others like the NAACP and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. All know that BLM’s leadership is strongly calling for the defunding and possible abolishment of local police departments. This proposal has been resisted or dodged by leading Democrats for various reasons. But what about BLM’s view of the family as a resource for black empowerment? Do they even have a position on the family? They do and they should because of the centrality strong families play in empowering a people, their life prospects, and strengthening their neighborhoods. As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. noted, “The group consisting of mother, father and child is the main educational agency of mankind.” King was speaking of the nuclear family. BLM’s antagonism to the family is glaring. On the organization’s website, Black Lives Matter proclaims, “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.” Beyond the mistaken assumption that the “nuclear family” is unique to the Western world, their position is profoundly concerning. BLM, as an organization, seeks to dismantle the very institution that mountains of published academic research has consistently demonstrated as most likely to strengthen and empower Black Americans and their children: the traditional, nuclear family. But they don’t stop there. Black Lives Matter also advocates other family redefinitions long at odds with most African Americans’ views, stating, “We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual.” Seriously, is “freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking” really on the minds of most African Americans when they wake in the morning? Well, it apparently weighs heavy on the minds of BLM - enough to list in their relatively short, official statement “What We Believe.” The statement continues, “We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead. We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift black trans folk…” I humbly ask, how many African Americans truly see “heteronormativity” and the “objective reality of gender” as major hurdles to their dreams for justice, respect, economic and social empowerment, or a better life? Strong Families Empower Black Americans Over and against what Black Lives Matter officially holds on the family, what do mainstream family scholars say on the matter? Earlier this week, Shelby Steele, a leading black intellectual said in a television interview: I will take those things seriously when I also hear …[from] … Sharpton and others the argument that we need within the black community to work on the institution of marriage. Our families have fallen to pieces. 75 percent of all black children are born out of wedlock, without a father. … I don’t care how many social programs you have. You’re not going to overcome that. [Programs are] not going to read a story to a child that night before he goes to sleep so he’s developing his mind… Of course, Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan said the same thing back in 1965, backed up with solid data. In what became known as The Moynihan Report, he warned that the hoped-for gains from the Civil Rights Act of 1964 would largely be for naught if black Americans did not address the crisis taking place within their families. Moynihan stated: Those seeking real and lasting solutions to this injustice cannot ignore this other fact, the fundamental problem, in which this is most clearly the case, is that of family structure. The evidence - not final, but powerfully persuasive - is that the Negro family in the urban ghettos is crumbling. … So long as this situation persists, the cycle of poverty and disadvantage will continue to repeat itself. Sadly, this prediction has largely come to pass. Scholarship on the relationship between race and social well-being over the last 20-plus years has found that marital status has joined employment and education as the dividing line between the “haves” and the “have-nots” of society. This is even more powerfully true for black Americans. thefederalist.com/2020/06/16/how-black-lives-matters-antagonism-to-marriage-and-family-hurts-black-americans/
Frederick Douglass’s Famous Independence Day Speech Douglass acknowledges the country’s founders as great, brave men who he considers heroes “for the good they did, and the principles they contended for.” Although he unites with other Americans to honor their memory, he also laments the disparity that exists between white and black Americans who did not equally enjoy the benefits that came from the Declaration of Independence. “Fellow-citizens, pardon me, allow me to ask, why am I called upon to speak here to-day? What have I, or those I represent, to do with your national independence? Are the great principles of political freedom and of natural justice, embodied in that Declaration of Independence, extended to us? and am I, therefore, called upon to bring our humble offering to the national altar, and to confess the benefits and express devout gratitude for the blessings resulting from your independence to us? But such is not the state of the case. I say it with a sad sense of the disparity between us. I am not included within the pale of this glorious anniversary! Your high independence only reveals the immeasurable distance between us. The blessings in which you, this day, rejoice, are not enjoyed in common. The rich inheritance of justice, liberty, prosperity and independence, bequeathed by your fathers, is shared by you, not by me. The sunlight that brought light and healing to you, has brought stripes and death to me. This Fourth [of] July is yours, not mine.” Douglass’s 1852 speech was his most famous recitation of it, although he had added to the speech in the years that followed, and addressed a crowd of about 2,000 in New York on July 4, 1862, when the Civil War was underway. Six months later, President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which granted freedom to slaves in the Confederate States if the State did not return to the Union. The speech underscored the standards of the founders and America’s failure to live up to them, and the irony that was Independence Day when independence remained out of reach for African Americans. But on many Fourth of July celebrations before slavery’s abolition, America was “false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds herself to be false to the future,” Douglass says. Until liberty is achieved for all, the “constitution and the Bible” are “disregarded and trampled upon.” “Pride and patriotism, not less than gratitude, prompt you to celebrate and to hold it in perpetual remembrance. I have said that the Declaration of Independence is the ring-bolt to the chain of your nation’s destiny; so, indeed, I regard it. The principles contained in that instrument are saving principles. Stand by those principles, be true to them on all occasions, in all places, against all foes, and at whatever cost.” dailycaller.com/2020/07/03/frederick-douglass-independence-day-speech-what-to-the-slave-is-the-fourth-of-july/

Black Lives Matter was formed in 2013 by three self-styled “Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries,” who selected as their movement icon convicted cop-killer and Black Liberation Army member Assata Shakur.[4] Shakur had fled to Cuba after being convicted of the homicide she committed when her car was stopped for a broken tail-light by two New Jersey state troopers. Without any warning, Shakur shot trooper Werner Foerster. The 34-year- old Vietnam veteran was lying wounded on the ground pleading for his life, when Shakur walked over and executed him. Officer Foerster left a widow and a three-year-old son.[5] Black Lives Matter activists refer to the murderer as “our beloved Assata Shakur” and chant her words as a ritual, “at every meeting, every event, every action, every freeway we’ve shut down, every mall we’ve shut down.” [6] The chant is this: “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love and support one another. We have nothing to lose but our chains.” The last line is lifted directly from the conclusion to the Communist Manifesto, a document and war cry that has led to the murders of millions.[7] The Black Lives Matter movement is not about particular injustices but about the alleged injustice of the American system, of capitalism, and of “white supremacy.” Its mission is not to save black lives. The thousands of deaths from black-on-black homicides draw no attention and inspire no protests, nor do the deaths of black police officers on the integrated police forces they attack. Their ferocious denunciations of slogans like “All Lives Matter” and “Blue Lives Matter” as “racist” reveal the racist impetus behind their own agenda.[8] www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/06/black-lives-are-pretext-david-horowitz/
Marxism wants to destroy the past and they are doing it in the USA now. The same thing happened in Communist China during the Cultural Revolution. Here is some history. . . .Between August and November 1966. A revolutionary fever swept China by storm, with Red Guards acting as its most prominent warriors. Some changes associated with the "Four Olds" campaign included assigning new names to city streets, places, and even people. Look how the past is repeating itself, they want to rename Columbus, Ohio now! Crazy! The Mayor of Washington, D. C. has renamed a park, Black Lives Matter. It is so consistent with Marxist practices. Other aspects of Red Guard activities in China were more destructive, particularly in the realms of culture and religion. Various historical sites throughout the country were destroyed. How similar is that to the destruction of statutes in the USA now? The damage was particularly pronounced in the capital, Beijing and numerous other historically significant tombs and artifacts. Libraries full of historical and foreign texts were destroyed; books were burned. Temples, churches, mosques, monasteries, and cemeteries were closed down and sometimes converted to other uses, looted, and destroyed. Marxists want to destroy history because they only want you to focus on Marxism and ignore the fact that it killed 100 million people in the 20th Century. Marxism hates religion because it is atheistic. A prominent member of BLM, Shaun King, has called for the destruction of statues of Jesus Christ. So, our current situation is very similar to the situation in Marxist China in the 1960s.

Hi. Thanks for making your video to offer your support. A few points i would like to make since you are open to criticism. you and the BLM as well, neglect to point out specifically what should be the cornerstone of your whole protest: how exactly are black people treated any differently? Ive watched many people sharing their view in support or against BlM but so far have not heard anything other than facts that support the case that police are justified in protecting themselves and doing their jobs which is really putting their lives on the line. I mean you could equally make a point that more police are killed by black people than any other color but you would not say that black people are even “ able” to be racist given their socioeconomic status? Violence is rarely premeditated, It has a lot more to do with authority vs. underprivleged than race cards. If you can point out a single law that treats black people any differently i would be impressed, if anything their are more laws and programsnusing tax dollars to offer support to black communities. Imam not a Fan of The police but i beleive in this situation they are scapegoats. First of all more unarmed white people are shot and killed “accidentally” by black cops than black people by white cops. Its a Fact. Look it up. You just have to understand how crazy the job is to apprehend someone breaking the law, rarely do they Not put up a fight. And i think excusing the behavior of the riots and looting murder and larceny by the BlM protesters is not at all besides the point. Heres the thing: No one is saying you cannot protest. You just have to do it lawfully so that the police can protect you and make sure it dosent get out of hand turn into dumpster fires in the street. Think about it. We are talking about MoB mentality. Very very unsafe. What if someone gets hurt , you recognize the risk of sending in an ambulence to help or a cop to investagate? What if someone came to a BlM protest in a MaGa hat. ? They have freedom of speech too dont they? Well there have been many cases of brutality from the protesters towards dissenters and to the cops also whos job it is to make sure tyou dont BUrn Down another Wendys for no good reason . R. Brooks assualted officers and stole their weapon and fired it. They have every rigt to use force as he is clearly a threat . It would be nice if they had rubber bullets but DUDE! try telling me you would go out to apprehend someone who can toally have a gun with real bullets and all you got are bouncy balls! If You pass out drunk in the drive thru , dont even know what town youre in when asked, you go to jail, im sorry, i wish he had a mark on his license to prevent him from buying alcohol when he clearly abused it but we are appartñy not that progressive yet. But burning down Wendys? How does that help at all? I will tell you precisely who it helps____. The media metworks are desperate for a race war and all you BLm protesters are playing right into their hands. Hope you had your fun. Look forward to a police state because thats what the reaction is going to be, When the insurance companies hike up their premiums on samll businesses. Not what you hoped for was it? The cops job is to disbpurse the protest by a certain time. If you suckers are still hanging around of course they are going to arrest you. Maybe if there wasnt looting and riots out of control hundred of businesses burned and burguled they wouldnt need tear gas. Go the fuck home homey and do something positive with your life . You are yelling and no one is listening anymore because youve discredited yourself with your behavior so quiet down and make some plans , get some perspective and stop spreading CV with your chanting for Cristsake
There's a lot for me to answer here... People are frustrated by police brutality. That isn't the only issue that hurts black people, so the overall message can seem vague. Generally, the movement seeks to address problems that many black people face on a large scale in america, often because of past or current racism. That includes police brutality (disproportionately affects black people), unequal opportunities (education, employment, investment, etc) and also cycles of poverty that were created by slavery and jim crow laws, and have not been reversed on a large scale. So yes there are flaws in the ways people are speaking up, but it does not mean that the issues that are causing outcries are invalid. For a response to only address the worst protestors (who were frequently white, anarchists, or hardly BLM people) it would be ridiculous and pathetic. To ignore real issues and show whiplash to people speaking up, I would be disappointed in our nation.
TBC thanks for the thoughtful response . If this was the kind of “speaking up” was going on i would be way more into listening. Unfortunately it is not and i have looked and not found any leadership from BLM to help control the violence. Indeed they seem to be encouraging it. They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel to justify putting so many people at risk for so little to gain. And again, before you complain about police brutality you ought to at least imagine from their perspective what its like to arrest someone on Meth, alcohol, and could be packing a weapon. If you do what they say 99.9 % of the time they are actually cool but they got a job to do and sometimes it sucks to be you. If you look closer many of these supposed “brutality “ cases are blown way out of proportion and just like Floyd they dont report that he was arrested nine times , had Fentynol (which slows down your breathing by the way, not letting Chauvin off the hook just sayin’ ) and assaulted a pregnant woman in a home invasion (for which he did five years ). Now picture yourself in the shoes of having to knock on that guys window and tell him would he kindly come to jail again please? No way Jose, youre gonna be ready for anything to go bazzango because your life is on the line. Like i said, more cops killed than black people. BLue lives matter? You bet your ass . Who you gonna call if some self riteous cokehead is beating your ass, ghostbusters? Bill Murray hung up his photon transducer a long time ago buddy, these ghosts got bullets for teeth
Arias Beardslee I hear you. I think it’s important just to recognize that after the first weekend, violence from protesters slowed down considerably, and millions demonstrated peacefully across the country. And if we want to talk about Floyd having a criminal record (which does nothing to change Chauvin being 100% in the wrong) let’s not forget to mention that Chauvin has killed multiple other people and had 17 official complaints on his file. Many people feel like black people are being held to a tighter standard than the officers that they fund through taxes to serve and protect them. It’s important to have a productive and trusted police force, but in many communities there needs to be more accountability for police, more training, and a better ability to deescalate situations instead of killing people who don’t cooperate. Death or force is not always the correct approach.
TBC what do you mean police brutality isn’t even near the top of the list of problems in the black community and when people bring up those other issues blm says that’s not what blm is about.
@@tyleralderliesten2489 BLM has a focus on police brutality. They care about other issues, but they have a focus. The NRA focuses on guns, but you wouldn't ask them why they don't care about other constitutional rights.

1. You say racism is ignored because it is more widespread and nuanced. This isn't specific, what example do you have that proves racism is a national/systematic problem? I don't believe it is, I think most people aren't racist. Keyword MOST. 2. You assert that people who are upset or are not okay with rioting don't understand that black people have been oppressed for hundreds of years and are crying out to be heard. What is the correlation with a riot and oppression? It seems you are suggesting that it is natural to respond with destruction for injustice. If that were the case, there are many murderers and people in prison for crimes of emotion you would want free. Passionate crime is still a crime. There is no justification. 3. You said you don't like people picking apart the BLM topic because it represents a lack of acknowledgement for the suffering of minorities. How is this related? If I have questions or concerns with any topic I ask further questions regardless of skin color. It also suggests that you think you know the motive of everyone who doesn't see things exactly your way. I agree with some other things you said but most of the things you shared seemed unfounded. Coming from a diverse school with lots of black friends doesnt make you wiser than most. You seem intelligent and I appreciate your points but just giving my opinion.
I think these are good points and some constructive criticism, but here’s my response. 1. I mean that racism is deeply rooted in American policies. I don’t mean that most politicians dislike black people, because that is blatantly false. More so, I think the way black people are criminalized and sent to jail at astronomical rates is a combination of bad policy and economic inequality that is caused by generations of injustice from slavery to jim crow to everything that MLK fought to change. Move years later to Nixon and Reagan who used different language but were still extremely racist and it tore up black communities. Now many black communities don’t have adequate funding for education, healthcare, etc, because they’ve never been in a strong position to move up in class. Being poor makes it much more likely for your kids to be poor. 2. A crime of emotion is a bit different than an unheard group rioting. I’m pretty sure the Boston Tea Party wasn’t legal, but it was good. While I’m not saying this is equal, in some cases of serious injustice a riot can be understandable. Again, I don’t think it was the best course of action here, but we’ve also now seen a week of peaceful protest. 3. Yes I did generalize about the motive of people and it’s because it’s impossible for me to know everyone who watches a public video. My point was not to avoid thinking critically about the movement. The point was more to not disregard everything because of select comments or aspects that you may or may not like. Don’t disregard the message because you don’t support the violence, for example. I mentioned going to a diverse school because I think I’ve learned a lot of things that are anecdotal and valuable. Sure, it may not be the best evidence, but I really do believe it has served me well. I don’t want that to be the focus of this, though.
Have you ever "heard" of self responsibility? Self accountability? You know what,,,,, I bet a white family moves into the hood, all black, I bet thee all white family gets the same respect. NOT. Kid...... your perspective is your own.
You haven't provided a single example of racism being systemic. Also, statistics do not reflect specific targeting of blacks. Racism exists everywhere but there's no proof it's systemic.
The purpose of this video was to educate? And you didn't see him really resist? You didn't see the cops trying to put him in the car before they restrained him???
@@TBCreviews Yes they have. To save face with the public and thier disgusting abuse of power. I don't think anyone is saying they restrained him correctly. And they failed to get a man having a heart attack sufficient treatment. But he still died of a heart attack. You can hear him say he was having a hard time breathing when they first took him out of his own car, again when they were trying to put him in the cop car. An ambulance was already on its way before they even restrained him. And to kneel on his neck at that point was just gross negligence. But he still died of a heart attack because he had severe heart and vessel issues. At least that's what the evidence points to and the final autopsy report shows.
Personally I think that if people choose to riot and destroy buildings, they are justified but I do I explain that my friends? A lot of my classmates don’t think riots are ok and that they should be peaceful and use MLK as an example.
I think it’s important for people who don’t like the riots to understand that even if you think they are bad, white people cannot truly understand the extent of frustration that black people feel. It’s not their place to dictate how black people voice their opinions.
TBC Yes!! This is exactly what I told them but one of my classmates said exactly this, “I also think we can criticize them as non-blacks” and “Like I said, I can't condone looting. I also can't condone pointless rioting. Until the riots are a proper demonstration, they only do damage.” They think that people shouldn’t be rioting and destroying businesses and that the protesters could riot police and gov buildings but not businesses.
I am a 40 year old white guy and American raised in da south and I really cannot figure out what special privilege I have had I have had the cops put guns on me and jack me up and remember I said I’m white ok the cuffs was to tight and they wasn’t nice and was trying to push any charges they can but there’s good cops to they are people period why is this a ongoing thing about it’s cause I’m black I have worked for everything I have and I feel like anyone can have the same thing I have people should stop using there race as a handicap to get ahead to me that is racist
The core of white privilege is simply that none of your challenges in life have been because of race. Also, cops putting guns on you doesn’t go against black lives matter, it reenforces that police brutality is real. It’s only worse when a cop is racist or simply has implicit bias. Also, even if black people can work hard and overcome, they should be given an equal opportunity to do so.
Awesome video. Thank you for using your platform to fight for equal rights of my race. Keep talking about Black Lives Matter and making good change happen.
I only have so much time. You could fact check any one of my claims. Feel free to dm with any specifics and I’d be happy to give more explicit examples.
Dude, there's no hope. There are more racist white people than non racist white people. No offense, just trve. I'm a black metalhead and goth guy. I've been a metalhead and goth for 12 years. It is the only thing I need to distress DEFINITELY in times like this. These problems may never end, but if people can wake up one day that'd be awesome, but I just don't know. Sorry for the dislikes. When you talk about racial topics especially blm, expect to get dislikes. It's not just your video that got many dislikes. I deal with racist white people, usually it's suttle behind the scenes type of racist white people, but I have dealt with racist white women and men that called me the n-word. I'm not, and I'm used to racist white people, I'm actually not even suprised... I am a misanthrope, I hate everyone equally definitely because of shit like this. I want George Floyd to be canonized as a saint. He was such a great man and the leader of all the Black people. Too bad his life was taken away from him. He has so much good to do in his life he had more drugs to take and rob more people and cause more Mayham please make him a saint.
Black people are more likely to be arrested, once arrested they’re more likely to be charged, and once charged they’re more likely to have a longer sentence. Police pull them over and search their cars at a higher rate. One example, white people and black people use marijuana at similar rates, but black people are arrested for it significantly more often. When people go to jail, it hurts the whole family, especially kids.
My point is more that there are consistent inequalities and injustices and the police are on the front lines enforcing that. Every single thing I listed holds Black people back even if discrimination is illegal. Harsh drug sentences with mandatory minimus hurt Black people, that’s policy.
@@TBCreviewsSorry man, your hearts in the right place I guess... but you have no facts to substantiate your argument. It's an absolute fallacy that police are enforcing laws that discriminate against black people, because those laws don't exist. Are there racist cops and judges out there? of course, and that's fucked up, I agree. But this notion of "institutionalized racism" or "systemic racism" is complete nonsense.

It’s rampant and it proves systemic racism. I’m not saying all cops or all politicians hate Black people, I’m saying there are thorough racial disparities- thus systemic/institutional racism. There are facts, you’re just choosing to ignore them.
I think you created this video to work progressively with the algorithms. I understand money has to get made, i get it. But its ruthless to use one of the biggest challenges facing social values as a means to profit yourself.

POLL: Plurality of Black Americans Prefer “All Lives Matter” Over “Black Lives Matter”
A new poll shows that not only a wide majority of Americans prefer the phrase “All Lives Matter” over “Black Lives Matter,” but that a plurality of Black Americans identify more with the former than the latter.
The Rasmussen survey, which queried 1,000 likely voters from June 15-16th, asked the public “which statement is closest to your own?” Respondents were given the answer of choosing “All Lives Matter” or “Black Lives Matter.”
47% of poll respondents who identified as black phrased their agreement with the phrase “All Lives Matter” over “Black Lives Matter,” with 44% preferring the former. A broad majority of 59% of Americans identified with All Lives Matter, overwhelming bipartisan support for a phrase the ideological Left has been strenuously maintaining is little more than political gaslighting.

How Black Lives Matter’s Antagonism To Marriage And Family Hurts Black Americans
BLM seeks to dismantle the very institution that research consistently shows is most likely to aid and empower black Americans: the natural family.
On the organization’s website, Black Lives Matter proclaims, “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”
Beyond the mistaken assumption that the “nuclear family” is unique to the Western world, their position is profoundly concerning.
When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual.”
Seriously, is “freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking” really on the minds of most African Americans when they wake in the morning? Well, it apparently weighs heavy on the minds of BLM - enough to list in their relatively short, official statement “What We Believe.”
The statement continues, “We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.
Strong Families Empower Black Americans
Over and against what Black Lives Matter officially holds on the family, what do mainstream family scholars say on the matter? Earlier this week, Shelby Steele, a leading black intellectual said in a television interview:
I will take those things seriously when I also hear …[from] … Sharpton and others the argument that we need within the black community to work on the institution of marriage. Our families have fallen to pieces. 75 percent of all black children are born out of wedlock, without a father. … I don’t care how many social programs you have. You’re not going to overcome that. [Programs are] not going to read a story to a child that night before he goes to sleep so he’s developing his mind…
Of course, Sen. Moynihan stated:
Those seeking real and lasting solutions to this injustice cannot ignore this other fact, the fundamental problem, in which this is most clearly the case, is that of family structure.

Frederick Douglass’s Famous Independence Day Speech
Douglass acknowledges the country’s founders as great, brave men who he considers heroes “for the good they did, and the principles they contended for.” Although he unites with other Americans to honor their memory, he also laments the disparity that exists between white and black Americans who did not equally enjoy the benefits that came from the Declaration of Independence.
This Fourth [of] July is yours, not mine.”
Douglass’s 1852 speech was his most famous recitation of it, although he had added to the speech in the years that followed, and addressed a crowd of about 2,000 in New York on July 4, 1862, when the Civil War was underway.
Until liberty is achieved for all, the “constitution and the Bible” are “disregarded and trampled upon.”
“Pride and patriotism, not less than gratitude, prompt you to celebrate and to hold it in perpetual remembrance. I have said that the Declaration of Independence is the ring-bolt to the chain of your nation’s destiny; so, indeed, I regard it. The principles contained in that instrument are saving principles. Stand by those principles, be true to them on all occasions, in all places, against all foes, and at whatever cost.”

speedbow20 I had no expectation that a video meant for my mainly white baseball audience about sensitive racial issues would give me more clout, I knew it would be seen by some people who completely disagree and I was hoping it would change perspectives. For some, maybe it did, for you, probably not.
But I'm white and I support black lives matter but it's just not all about black people all lives matter guys🦋🌈
So you, as a white person, support discrimination against your own race?
In the context of colour and shade, what does 'all' mean?

This dude is spot on. I would have said a few points differently, but overall, I agree. By the way, almost all of my relatives are extremely conservative. I'm growing up in a small town, almost all white, almost all conservative (my family had 5 liberal election signs stolen rom our front yard on 3 different occasions), with a high school of about 375 kids. Every one of the faculty members are white and I can count the number of minority kids in the high school on one hand. This guy mentioned that his school was almost all minorities, but I'm not from that kind of school. I'm not "brainwashed" by the ideals of minority communities. Even the towns around me aren't remotely minority controlled. Just a message for you to think over your beliefs. Get rid of your confirmation bias. And also, yes, I'm white.
Im not reading all this shit
Imagine being a liberal. First you steal the name from people like Rothbard, then you become economically illiterate, and finally you become socially ignorant. Modern day liberalism is just a failure.

We have nothing to lose but our chains.” The last line is lifted directly from the conclusion to the Communist Manifesto, a document and war cry that has led to the murders of millions.[7]
The Black Lives Matter movement is not about particular injustices but about the alleged injustice of the American system, of capitalism, and of “white supremacy.” Its mission is not to save black lives. The thousands of deaths from black-on-black homicides draw no attention and inspire no protests, nor do the deaths of black police officers on the integrated police forces they attack. Their ferocious denunciations of slogans like “All Lives Matter” and “Blue Lives Matter” as “racist” reveal the racist impetus behind their own agenda.[8]

I agree, but your experiences could be unique. If you turn back the clock, would you have the same experiences? Well then you shouldn't ask the same of us.
"A perception is unique to thee individual".
I thought this was fake when he said his source was a Netflix original (the most woke production of all time) I hate when people say I have a black friend or uncle. Who cares just respect everyone the same if they are a good person!
I can give you a source from plenty of different reputable places. The netfix original isn’t fiction and it provides valuable insight about the issue. Feel free to watch it and tell me what’s false. I agree that we should respect people all the same, and me having a diverse group of friends doesn’t change that.
Virtue signalling is cringe.
Thank you for your honesty and speaking the truth 👏🏾
@@jankasen7039 for one who says that she was even talking about the amazing thing BLM she could just be talking a about systemic racism. Also how does the organization BLACK LIVES MATTER not care about black lives
@@nashgilbert13 Say that to the black business owener and black republicans.
People who say whites are worthless or anything
Are 90 percent white themselves
Am curious
💯💯
Have you ever "heard" of self responsibility? Self accountability? You know what,,,,, I bet a white family moves into the hood, all black, I bet thee all white family gets the same respect. NOT.

You haven't provided a single example of racism being systemic. Also, statistics do not reflect specific targeting of blacks. Racism exists everywhere but there's no proof it's systemic.

There is no way you’re defending the cops that killed George Floyd. No way.
@@TBCreviews Weird that you came to that conclusion. The point was you were obviously working with only part of the facts.
@@TBCreviews And the final 20 page autopsy report said he died of a heart attack..just saying.
An independent autopsy said he died of asphyxiation. The officers have all been charged for a reason.

Name a current policy which police enforce that “hold back black people”
Black people are more likely to be arrested, once arrested they’re more likely to be charged, and once charged they’re more likely to have a longer sentence. Police pull them over and search their cars at a higher rate. One example, white people and black people use marijuana at similar rates, but black people are arrested for it significantly more often. When people go to jail, it hurts the whole family, especially kids.
@@TBCreviews thats not a policy or a law bud...

The examples I talked about are evidence of racism within enforcement and our justice system. It’s rampant and it proves systemic racism. I’m not saying all cops or all politicians hate Black people, I’m saying there are thorough racial disparities- thus systemic/institutional racism. There are facts, you’re just choosing to ignore them.
