A/N: Personally, I'm a big fan of Ray, and hence prefers him with Emma over Norman, but alas, this song is just MADE FOR THESE TWO, and it's a moment they deserve. :)

Has it already been a year? One year ago, I’ve made one of my first videos (and I’m not a very active amv maker). To this day, it still warms my heart and soul that I continue to get feedbacks every couple of days about how this sheds tears. It reminds me that there is something I am relatively good at, and that some people appreciate my effort and thoughts.
Thank you everyone for spending the time to check out my videos. While I may not always respond (I’m introverted and not all that proactive), I do think about your responses (someone recommended me to do an amv on another anime with their fav song and I’m actually thinking about it) carefully.
Thank you everyone for liking, and disliking the video, because it meant that you have spent your time looking at what I’ve tried hard to make and express. I only wish that more people could show their appreciation through comments or reaction videos instead of outright copying without notice or credit.
It’s so cool of you to spend time and effort to make an amazing amv about a ship that isn’t even your favourite. It really shows your love for this series AS A WHOLE while so many fans end up only caring about their ships while you’ve got an entire show, plot, cast to adore. So thanks 💕, both Norman and Ray are best boys, deserve the world, and let’s not forget our queen Emma 👌
Chlo H. It can’t be helped when the images self-inserted themselves the moment i heard this song (so good); at that point I just convinced myself an Emma x Ray video can be a treat for when this one is done. Then again, I kind knew that my ship wouldn’t be having my much convincing footages to use until at least season 2, so might as well do this one first (if it weren’t for Ray, I’m pretty sure I’d be hard shipping Norman x Emma.
Yeah, they all deserve so much love; sometimes I’m just like, “screw it, they can be OT3 and everyone is happy. XD. Except for maybe those averse to polygamy...? Meh.

Some SPOILERS so beware.
"I was kinda used to be someone you loved. . ."
"And you're not here to get me through it all."
It felt like it was Emma that was singing this. . .
"I need somebody to know, somebody to heal, somebody to have just to know how it feels."
This line can be said to be Emma's too since she's the type to always be open with her feelings.
But with Norman this is a different case, in the manga he felt the need to become "god" and endure everything for them but the truth is he just needs someone to hear him out.
"I guess I kinda like the way that you helped me escape." - T-T this terribly hit me in the feels, it made me remember how Norman was willing to do anything as long as they escape safely. It's also stated in the end of the video.
Sorry if this felt like just me blabbering nonsense but still. . .

SPOILER ALERT, just in case... (oh btw, I'm sorry, but I am said to have "diarrhea in the mouth" when I write/type. You have been warned :D)
Tbh, when I heard this song, I was up-to-date with the manga, so it really hits me hard too, and it just totally fits these two. Especially about
"I need somebody to know, somebody to heal, somebody to have just to know how it feels"
In the face of horror, it's so important to know there's a rock or a stable presence that grounds you to the here and now. In season 1, Norman is also seen quite frightened by the ordeal that they found themselves in, but is trying to be strong and brave for Emma (I really loved that scene by the stairs when Emma's on the floor and Norman reaches out but his hand is also shaking)
And yeah, being "(I was getting used to being) Someone You Loved" is totally from Emma's pov... she's so used to being loved by Norman, and then he just suddenly pulls away and leaves her... but what's not to say it goes somewhat the same for Norman, being loved by his friends? Then again, it's mainly Emma and Norman. I actually considering using a female cover for this... but then... I really liked the original mv's wind and heartbeat sound... and stuck with it in the end.
I'm glad you caught some of the things I heard too and that the message came across in the end.
I do kind of miss the old Norman, but I'm totally intrigued by the changes they all went through, and am very invested in how their relationship (and of course they whole story, not there only for the ship) goes. I'm still shipping Emma x Ray though (yeah, that order too... or they can just be a OP3, that's fine with me as well XDD) :P

In the manga he goes to Lambda where he's expiremented in together with the other orphans from other plantations, though the details weren't revealed yet they must have had a rough time 'cause most of the children had such hatred for demons.

I am so thankful that the time I started reading the manga the chapter where Norman realised that he wanted to live more is already released so I don't need to worry if Norman is becoming evil or not and if he is going to die or not. When I read that chapter I was like YESSSS FINALLY OLD NORMAN IS BACKK. That cute boy who is so kind, so smart and is always smiling together with Emma and Ray I am seriously thanking Emma for being the inspiration of Norman to think about others and not only himself or only the cattle. BTW The reason why I don't see Ray and Emma is because I don't think Ray would develop "that" kind of feelings with Emma knowing that Norman already have feelings for Emma in "that" kind of way. And Come on isn't Norman and Emma a cute ship❤️

Pastel Chan hahaha! Well, yeah, because TPN is rather dissonant and horrifying at the beginning (and then you’d get used to it.... orz). The sound of dripping blood in Norman’s dreams actually scared me a lot and I couldn’t really look at it.. but then I used it in my video and had to rewatch it so many times I was just “meh” in the end.... what humans can get used to.....

I stayed up and binged the entire series yesterday/this morning and I'm just like so emotionally destroyed. This series is so good but it makes me cry so much. I don't know if I necessarily ship anyone, but I just ADORE Norman, so I love seeing him at any chance I can get.
