Very well done, very well done. Paula's encouragement of Soph to go to uni. came from a genuine love & observation of abilities she saw Sophie held. As a supportive mate Paula is being there to help her partner be her best self. Debbie as an aunt is in a similar position of influence (minus the intimacy component obvi) and is/has just provided a different point of view. Each of these women both want what's best for Sophie and have supported/encouraged/guided her, each with their own personal experiences to draw from. I adore how no judgement has been made (as of yet) of one way of learning being better than the other. I mean we all know that Paula will have a greater impact because of the emotional bond n day in day out time together, but Aunt Debbie provided a different perspective and if you study Paula's expression in the last sec of this clip you might see the gears in her head turning while she contemplates just what might Sophie like to do and is her advise really the best for our Soph.....Anyone else see this too?
I also noticed one very special thing. Paula is welcome at The Table for Breakfast which really shows that Kevin has accepted Paula. We now need to see that with Callum & Ben on EastEnders.
Oh I sensed animosity between Paula and Debbie, but Debbie did ask Paula to look after Sophie, so alls well that ends well, long live 'Our Darlings' Sophie and Paula, xx

This kinds of reminds me of when Olivia Spencer gave Natalia Rivera a Promo from being a Chambermaid to her PA. She did a fantastic Job and why because Olivia believed in her and that was before they realized how much they loved each other. Olivia also loved Natalia so much that she was able to get Money back from a bad Stock if she agreed she'd give up a Job Offer as a Spokesperson of a Multi Billion Dollar Hotel.
laminage I could go on Otalia too because they remain my favorite couple. You could see the growth and maturity of both characters as they grew deeper in their relationship. I would love to see that with Paula and Sophie. Despite the difference of generations, I would love to see how they mature in their relationship. Keeping a relationship is always a challenge.
I love that OTP!!! I just went there and watched it again after seeing this. Don’t know why but it reminded me the development between Otalia too. Love them! ❤️
Paula is a straightforward kind of lady, the type of Olivia. Negotiations are their forte. I just hope the writers will not ruin this storyline. The build-up is fast but the story itself could go deeper.
Did you see how Debbie told Paula to "Look" after Sophie. It reminds me of when Rafe Rivera told Olivia to take care of his Mother Natalia after going to serve in The Army.
