For me, the best part of Orion starts in 5:21. The parts Cliff is playing is so beautiful, out of this world (and of course, the solos they are too). I think Cliff is playing the melody, while James & Kirk are playing the harmonies. Am I right? BTW, thanks for your videos. I am suscribed already =)

You play it exactly like I do! Except I can't do the final solo as gracefully as you but that was the part I was having trouble at! I'm currently studying that part though and you made it easier to understand. Thank you once again Oh, great Andriy.

+Andriy Vasylenko I mostly had trouble getting the rhythm down at 6:30. Since I don't have 24 frets I followed the harmony bass tab and it sounds awesome! I can now play Orion! I will continue to watch your videos and support all of them.

One of my favourite songs to get myself warmed up for a practice session, can’t play the solo though😂. Not only does my bass not have enough frets but there’s no way I could do that at my current level of playing.

Andriy, brother OUTSTANDING!! All of your transitions are flawless and smooth and crucial to hold down that heavy bottom end. I am vey impressed. I too was once a bass player many years ago from a band called Shattered Image during the late 80's. It was the whole glam rock scene. Yes I know how awful that may sound. But I spent two years of my life living the rock star life and will never forget. Yes the rock star life, not due to our musicianship because most of our songs were basic three chord rock and roll, but because of our guitar player Joey Rico (owner of BC Rich) We had the finest rehearsal studio within the BC Rich factory in El Monte California. I was blessed to be endorsed by BC Rich. I played a standard P bass along with a BC Rich Iron bird. Played around with inverted necks and zero varnish on the neck, just sanded. It was awesome to have any bass guitar I wanted.

My sound settings are simple: use guitar presets from GuitarRig3 (Texas Toast for crunch, Scorpio Lead for distortion, and something light for interlude) + some equalizer (get rid of very low and very high frequencies, some cut-outs from middle to avoid hiss and other defects) + mastering in Izotop Ozon (preset Warm Mids). By the way, I'm not from USA, I currently live in Ukraine. Thank you one more time! \m/
