I disagree with most comments. I'm glad she forgave him. Why can't she forgive but not forget. When finding out the truth, he did everything he could, even without recognition, to support her. He never stopped loving her but was so wrong in helping the sister- in -law, due to obligation. He should have believed and supported his wife. Also, his wife should have told him from the beginning that she was pregnant, even if in anger! Always fight evil, don't give in, even if painful. I enjoyed it. Great acting from all. Just my opinion.

ML had no idea until the last quarter that there even was a child, and he only found out because he used his brain. He was a failure as a husband, but by then he'd realised and was doing what he thought he had to do to redeem himself in her eyes, and that's even not knowing about all that FL suffered abroad. It is a very good and well acted nuanced story.

Wish I could ❤ your take on this a lot more. The story is not as many are painting it. Those who are skipping to the end then saying, "she goes back so skip" are doing this drama a disservice. The characters are very well written, flaws and all, and the acting is brilliant, one of the best for this plot that I've seen thus far, and I've seen quite a few of them. ML really does FL dirty at the start, and he deserved her treatment of him. He however made sure to put in the effort, which is more than most of what these types of MLs typically do. So I can see why she would choose to cautiously let him back in because she is by no means a frail female.

But suddenly when she is back and especially when she is cold to him and wants a divorce, he acts lovelorn and confused as to why she feels that way. He even said he never thought or planned to divorce her, but if the grandmother never got sick he wouldn't have brought her back. He just doesn't want anyone else to have her.
This drama is really watch-worthy...... Please watch it ...... Today I'm watching it for the 2nd time .... While watching.....I still feel like flowing a hilly river ....that flows through a uneven surface quietly......but sometimes it becomes very vigorous...... Still both the protagonists are like two banks of this river .....walk together but still separate. He misunderstood his wife once and exiled her ....but soon realised the true intentions of SIL ......and did everything to make it up to his wife the FL. He received all the punishment from his wife silently .......she also changed her personality completely and never accepted his apology..... But finally saw through his true heart thoroughly and united with him. I felt very very happy and content. He never stopped loving her....... Very loving couple.......I'm very happy for them. Actor is toooooooooo good looking.....very cool .. quiet......❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

But the story is not about how remorseful ML is after bad harm inflicted on FL as a result of ML's uncontrollable temper and violent abuses from ML to FL, whether sexual, physical or mental abuses. It is about how ML is stunned by FL's change after years of separation. He takes the trouble to find out the hardship suffered by FL since separation and reflect on the reasons after his discovery that FL's misery was all brought about by him. He takes the blame. Instead of forcing himself on FL, ML starts viewing things from FL's perspective, caring for and respecting FL. The atonement to FL stems from ML's positive efforts to change himself into a better husband and sacrifice his own self interests so that FL can materialize her dancing dreams. There is neither knife stabbing nor successful kidnap in this drama.

I tried watching this, I don't like this storyline where she forgives him especially when it took him catching the sister-law in the act to properly ask for forgiveness. Even then he never properly repented and make amends to deserve forgiveness, it should have taken her 4 years of him suffering in the cold streets to be forgiving.
