Ths IR-V setting exists for customers outside the US, where the illuminator needs to be different due to international regulations. 850 offers better image quality, however, some animals can see that spectrum while the 940 is completely invisible.
Are you trying to adjust the position of the reticle, or are you trying to change the reticle style? Once you're in the "Zeroing" menu, use the Display & PiP buttons to navigate left & right to the desired field (X-axis, Y-Axis, Reticle Color, Reticle Style), and use the up & down arrows (Settings & Record) buttons to adjust the selected field. Once everything is where you want it, pressing & holding the PiP button will save your settings.
