ok for real....I was playing this game with one hand and couldn't understand how to hit the buttons so fast! but now I watched you, I learned so much! going to hit extreem mode tonight ^^
@@wiinekosan F2nd and X tho... Also, i actually liked star notes. I really like how they were used with the music. and the link star drawings were cute.
Think I ordered it stupidly overpriced from Play-Asia which don't stock it anymore. Amazon still seems to advertise it (admittedly the price has been increasing...)
I thought that the B layout was for just the first game that didn't have double notes, that's why the controller came with the black replacement circles for the arrow buttons. Great video though, now i wish this wasn't so hard to get anymore.
The touch panel only acts as one stick at a time so it won't work >.< So either you have to use the help item that lets you use the L and R buttons instead or using blutak or similar, position a controller or two on the controller to use the analogue sticks when needed. -_- This controller is only really awesome for dreamy theater in my opinion.
zedamex went to anime expo this year and they had a demo run try out of project dive f 2nd, using this exact controller, the thing about it is though that ti does work, despite the double notes for the stars...so idk..a lot of people are saying that it doesnt but anime expo proved it wrong even though the thing that made playing the game suck was the fact that the touch pad for the stars was so worn out that you had to use the part that was not overly used on the game pad in order to HIT the stars, so while it was a used pad it does work with project dive f 2nd
Any idea how well this will work on Future Tone for PS4? I don't mind buying or using a converter, just wondering if it's comfortable playing it with this controller or do you need the control sticks from the mini controller to make it comfortable?
You never bought an Bemani Controller right? I got and Controller that costs 1000$ and a DDR Metal Dance Pad that costs around 1500$. Arcade is expensive
If you somehow get this are you interested in possibly selling the controller or do you think you can point me in the direction of possibly purchasing one from somewhere? I’ve been looking into a controller that can replicate the F style controller and also the arcade future tone controller. This one fits the bill.
The upcoming full size from hori but I'd need free samples for the others, everything so far is out of pocket and since moving to Japan. Work life balance makes it hard to just buy every gadget I want like I used to.
@@zedamex Ah I see. I know how that feels especially when work like takes over almost ur whole free time on projects etc. Looking forward if u cover the hori Arcade/Mega9s controller
@@correllroyhdatitsbest3492 I've been working on the video for the past month. Not saying that means it will be amazing because some days I feel like I only get 10 minutes to edit, but it is happening.
only the new X one that comes out in a couple of months. The other mini don't have this switch. I'm not sure if you can physically move the buttons around tho.
thanks for the reply i was wondering cause i pre-ordered the X one from amazon and it said that it lets you change buttons and i don't remember the ps3 mini letting you do that
Hori Japan, some export / import shops like amiami playasia are well known ones that might do. But I would no longer recommend this controller, because Project Diva F 2nd will require both analogue sticks to be used at once, so this controller wont be compatible. Wait and see if Hori releases a new controller and hopefully they improve the touch panel because it is not reliable enough.
It doesn't officially work in Future Tone so I suspect same case with x. Hori announced a ps4 project diva x controller so should get that along with x
I haven't got a PS4 yet to test, currently there are no Project Diva games for PS4. I suspect that once there is, a new wave of controllers will be released. If you can use PS3 controllers with PS4 then I would assume you can use this as well tho.
You would have to try hunt second hand or wait and hope that Hori release a new full sized controller. When the next Project Diva game is released, keep an eye out for controllers that will also be released with it.
Man, if I wanted one right now it would be around 600 or 700 bucks (taking into consideration shipping). I really want one of these to build an arcade machine, though. Dillemas, dillemas XD
zedamex Yeah I found one on Germany eBay, but it set me back 600$ canadian (shipped) but i totally caved XD. The guy said it's basically new he almost never used it so that's cool... I'll only receive it in about a month though.
YogurtStorm oooh nice nice You did watch my second video on this too? I now almost exclusively use this for Dreamy Theater as I don't like the touch panel >< Or slap controllers nearby for access to sticks
Yeah I loved your video, it went into a lot of detail and i'm aware of the touch pad issue. I'll probably just use the help item to map to the L/R buttons like you suggested; I'm not looking for high scores but rather to build an arcade machine for fun playing when I have friends over :)
@Diva Player I don't understand how any song from X could be harder than songs like 2D Dream Fever and The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku from F 2nd, but okay
I mentioned the mini in this video. I also mentioned I got a first time excellent using this controller suggesting my scores went up suggesting it is actually easier to play. The mini is exactly that, mini, half way between a controller and an arcade controller. Mini is not the same dimensions as the arcade thus don't have same spacing as the arcade either, they don't feel as good, don't light up and just don't have the same bounce/feedback when playing. The only difficulty with these controllers is the touch panel. Hopefully the next full size revision will improve this.
first thing i know that i will do, if i ever get to be in japan, is to play project diva on an arcade
ok for real....I was playing this game with one hand and couldn't understand how to hit the buttons so fast! but now I watched you, I learned so much! going to hit extreem mode tonight ^^

its easier to play with a normal controller. watch hisokee

nightcore girl close and open, demons and the dead

nightcore girl no it was unhappy refrain
xXScareMasterXx you said it before i could
your gaming area is awesome! O:
If the button layout suits it yeah. Its still the same input signals for the buttons. Just the control stick or L2/R2 could be a problem.
This looks epic! I have to admit..buying a mini version of this controller and the game is very very tempting right now...
I wonder if the touch pad works in other games, like if I could move a character in a fight game with it
it does as it is just whatever stick you have set it to. Touch left mid means stick being tilted to left mid.
Where did you buy the controler?
Think I ordered it stupidly overpriced from Play-Asia which don't stock it anymore.
Amazon still seems to advertise it (admittedly the price has been increasing...)
XD You'll get there, I just love the song.

this controller work only for ps3 of japan or is for all region ps3
does this controller work on project diva 2nd?

can this big controller work in dreamy theater?
maybe becuz of the L and R button
No problem with Dreamy Theater at all, it is my preferred games to play using this since there are no star notes.
I've used one of those controllers. It was my first time playing a Project Diva game (not counting Project Mirai)
and the controler that I saw, count with the analogs sticks
