I just did a floor that was very difficult... The company insisted I use this stripper format rtu.. it was horrible i had a taski with a stripping brush and I used a manual scrubber even got on my knees and I still couldn't get all the wax what did I do wrong? Was it the stripper solution or was the tile that heavily waxed?
Probably old sealer undercoat before applying floor finish, sealers really aren't used anymore and some are a pain too get up like johnson wax technique sealer.
Probably best to not take ALL the wax off, Unless you don't mind doing a LOT of extra work as in picking up the stripper off the floor and making sure you rinse the floor with vinegar. If you want all wax removed be sure to use a GOOD amount of stripper, let it sit for 15 minutes or so and start it
It sounded like the floor needed to be stripped twice or not enough dwelling time. Also could be someone before you put a sealer down then applied wax. Which would make your job twice as hard. When in doubt always use black pad, let the stripper sit for longer than 15 minutes more like 30 minutes. Sounds crazy but sometimes these floors need it.
What kind of floor is this? Granite? What is the chemical for stripping granite floor? What is the chemical for crystalization granite floor? Thanks for sharing
Is it ok if I just apply 2 products: Terranova and Complete I will polish the floor with Terranova for conducting the periodic floor maintenance. Then I will apply 2 layers of Complete for floor finish. I still do the daily cleaning with floor cleaning chemical. Could I apply another layers of Complete over the old ones without stripping the floor after 2-3 weeks? Or I have to remove the old floor finish first before putting a new one.
Deep scrubbing requires you to use a green or a blue pad. But be careful, they will remove some wax. When deep scrubbing use all purpose cleaner or a sort of base.
you don't need special shoes or floor scrubber machine.you need side by side either clarke or viper machine and wet n dry vac and no gloves needed.i do this on daily basis.
@@channelv5085I do not recommend using a sealer unless you have heavy traffic or you're not going to maintain the floors regularly. A sealer is what it sounds like a seal. Once you put it on you have to leave it on. And you need to put a few coats down.
zep is just brand of product they have at home depot or lowes its junk.use Johnson or bravo product works the best.be sure you go down to bare floor or take shine.
Here where i was taught we just use the soap from the same company that provide us the liquid supplies, it coagulates the stripper. After removing the stripper, you again add soaped water to the area you are stripping so it coagulates residues. Overflow is something we manage with experience, though that tape would be a game changer if we could afford it.
@@channelv5085 Hillyard wax is good, 3 medium coats with a mop. After stripping the floor, use a machine to pickup the water, than you want to use 2 mop buckets, one behind the other labeled 1 & 2 that have vinegar in it. Mop the floor, wait till it dries, apply wax. Done.
No need to strip and wax your floor any longer, BOOST™ MAX Slip Resistant Nano Sealant replaces annual strip and wax, lasts 3-7 years, provides slip resistance to all national standards, scratch resistant, and ease of maintenance. Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/LFiozRPPiUU/видео.html
Okkkkkklk let me correct something a custodial manager…. You do the baseboards AFTER you scrub. Why? Because as you’re scrubbing, thats where the dirt and wax comes from 🤣. Why scrub them with a doodle bug before to get the back dirty. Thats silly.
Very nice floor scrubbing & Mopping cleaning work. Good job 👍

What about floors that are too scarred to strip? Do you just put wax over if you can't strip off the beated floors?
you have to strip it with black pad and stripper down to bare floor or just take the shine
Replace them, If you can't there's no fix

Is there a video on deep scrubbing
What do you mean deep scrubbing.
Deep scrubbing requires you to use a green or a blue pad. But be careful, they will remove some wax. When deep scrubbing use all purpose cleaner or a sort of base.
Where can we get the absorbent strip? What was the brand? Can seem to find it or anything similar
zorba strips is what my store uses

If you're using stripper solution, special shoes aren't NEEDED, but stupid if you don't use them
What about Wax, what do u recommend?

Use 2 Vinegar + water in your mops after you've picked up the bad stripper water. Don't just was cold water.
Really? Will that mess up the wax?

So do you mix with water in the 1 and 2 buckets.. or straight vinegar? Thank you
@@channelv5085 oh mostly water yes with like a cup or less of vineger

I was thinking the same thing.

You need a mask, stuff stinks terribly
Not if you are used to it like myself 😂
