As always, a great review. I’m actually surprised that you get so many features for a car that’s worth about 41k. I never had a good opinion about GMC but this definitely helps change that. Also, it’s surprising to see that there is a good amount of legroom in the third row. Definitely wasn’t expecting this from this car!!
Really? Haha, sorry about that. Where did Arcadia even come from? I'm such an idiot sometimes. Anyway, thanks for pointing this out. I'll do my best to correct this next time I review the A-cade-eee-ah. Cheers!
We bought a 2017 Acadia Denali in April 2017. Managed to get it for 25% off MSRP so I paid a bit over $33K. We really like it but we HATE the AFM feature. I bought. V6 not a V4. I wish GM would allow owners to turn that feature off. Else we have had no issues with it in 18 months and 13K miles, am getting better fuel mileage that the EPA rating, in fact got close to 30 MPG on two long trips of 2000 miles. Nice surprise.
You don't have to use the straps to lower the 3rd row. There are 2 pull handles on the left side wall of the cargo area you can pull. That way you don't have to reach for the straps and push the seat backs to get them down.
All I know is that my Arcadia is not a crimson red but it's a real pretty rare color with a black stripe. My question would be how do I delete the former owners Wi-Fi passcode and password? One thing I really like about the vehicle is that it has a whole lot of horsepower when you least expected it has a passing year that will kind of make your head snap back if you're not prepared for it. And I've only had the vehicle for a whole month.
I really like the Chevy Suburban. I did a review early this year. That, and the Lincoln Navigator. The Navigator is more expensive, but it's wonderful. Check it out and let me know what you think! ✌
The Acadia is a promising product but I feel it's let down in a few areas of inconsistency.. You mentioned the high quality turn indicator/wiper stalks, but the center console adjacent to your knees (where heated seat buttons are) is rough, cheap feeling plastic with a huge (and mismatched) panel gap to match. Just a little concerning to me.
Good point. I actually kind it a bit hard to describe this type of thing in my videos. Maybe I need to learn a bit more about plastics? Just saying this feels like "cheap" plastic and this "higher quality" seems a bit off to me.
I don’t know if I just got lucky, but my Acadia Denali is built very well. I have no panel gaps in any areas, and there is a lot of soft touch plastic and leather all around.
The button in the center in the parking sensors button. The parking break is the other button to the left of the steering wheel, the one he said was parking assist.
Rockers buttons are very convenient. I'm spoiled. I can see myself wanting them on my next car. In my opinion GMC makes handsome vehicles. The interiors are well designed too. I like the features of the Acadia.
Agreed! I think the built quality is good and I like how they look. But reading some of the comments here, we might be the minority. Seems like post people are disappointed with the styling. To each his own!
From watching your videos it's easy to see how much wear and tear these rental vehicles are subjected to. That entire trunk area looks worn already, and they don't put any type of protection for the carpeting back there. A shame in such an expensive vehicle.
They're called "stalks" not "sticks." I like these a lot but GM quality always scares me. The uneven panel gaps between the left and right side of the console just below the climate controls drives home that point at 6:00. The last GM car I owned, a Chevy HHR, had so many odd noises in the suspension when GM repurchased it 2 years later under the Lemon Law (it was actually bought back for repeated steering system failures), it was embarrassing to drive around in a busy parking lot because it could be heard from 20 feet away and people would always turn and give me that "Hey, nice s---box, buddy" look. Not cool.
I own one, 18 months,22000 miles. Great o. Long distance traveling.
✌️
I bought an SLE -2 with sunroof and love it. It has everything i want and rides and drives great.
Nice! Congratulations.
Hi, mine is the all terrain, amazing interior trim and color. Wish I could have some of the Denali upgrades, just not available with this model.
How is the road noise and tyre roar on concrete and bitumen motorways?
Is it comfortable
Not just the grill design but the whole body design
Thanks for the review! I love how you added all the detail. Very much appreciated!
Being 6 foot five, I love that this leads the midsize class in head and legroom
My son is 15 6,3. Definitely a plus.

Thank you for explaining the shift modes. You forgot the rear outlet plug behind the third row. I just got my Arcadia and I love it!!!!
Do you realize you are saying "Arcadia" It's Acadia. Not to be rude or anything.

Most people I know say "Arcadia." Haha
Ha! I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Elizabeth Rosas Hope you don’t know many people then.🤪
Fun fact, Acadia used to be the name of part of the french colony in Canada
Im not really into the new GM yet alone SUV's but this one is amazing. The styling is amazing on this. I would possibly consider buying one.
I kinda agree. It's a nice looking ride. Fantastic user name by the way, but you MUST add a profile image. Oh the possibilities!
That front grill looks amazing !!
Cheedee O. Really?

The V6 in the Acadia does not have the AFM feature. Only the four cylinder has it.
I have a 2017 Acadia Denali
The V6 DOES have AFM. So says the GM press releas
How does the AFM affect driving, what's the issue with it?
Do you like this better than the Ford Explorer?
You don't have to use the straps to lower the 3rd row. There are 2 pull handles on the left side wall of the cargo area you can pull. That way you don't have to reach for the straps and push the seat backs to get them down.
Arcadia was a great Duran Duran dude project. Election Day, The Flame.. great tracks!

I'm looking for an SUV with 3rd row seating and good towing capability... which would you recommend?
I really like the Chevy Suburban. I did a review early this year. That, and the Lincoln Navigator. The Navigator is more expensive, but it's wonderful. Check it out and let me know what you think! ✌
Thanks! I will hopefully sooner than later.
Which one did you purchase?
These are nice SUV's. SLT-1 has slightly less equipment than the SLT-2, but still comes well-equipped. :)
You said electric parking break but it's the parking sensors
How does this compare to the Durango you test drove in regards to ride quality and feel, seating comfort, and cargo/storage capacity?
My favorite ride GMC ❤❤
Which car rental company do you use and which class of car was this (Standard SUV/Full-Size SUV)?
I usually rent from Enterprise. And I'm not sure what class it's considered, but it's definitely a more expensive class of SUV.
100 Rental Cars Oh right, we have one just like this car but ours is from Alamo. I think they are one big company together.
Hmmm I'm not sure if Alamo and Enterprise the same company. I do know that National and Enterprise are.

You should review the Acadia Denali if you have the chance. It has great features and I really love mine.
Is the car comfortable
No mention that he said ARcadia the whole video?
Love you, you are the best!
anyone know what cuv or suv has the best turning radius? Or a breakdown on towing capacity?
Sorry, can't help with that. I do like the Ford Edge though. It handles just like a car.
dodge durango 2015 or newer that what i have...
ray johansen thank you
100 Rental Cars thank you
The parking brake logo looks like the parking sensor logo. Does it have a foot parking brake ?
The button in the center in the parking sensors button. The parking break is the other button to the left of the steering wheel, the one he said was parking assist.
May I ask where you see the r in Acadia
The button is for park assist not parking break
Rockers buttons are very convenient. I'm spoiled. I can see myself wanting them on my next car. In my opinion GMC makes handsome vehicles. The interiors are well designed too. I like the features of the Acadia.

Solid video!
Yes

HALWG51 I love seeing Rental cars get beat up.
HALWG51 It’s also not a expensive vehicle
They're called "stalks" not "sticks."

Nice video. Just bought a used SLT with 35k miles on it. I love this car.
Arcadia
"Arcadia"?......Acadia. *cuv
What's a GMC Arcadia?! lol..
I must say that this SUV doesn’t look good inside or out.
