The defense attorney should be found at contempt of court for shaking his head. No, while the judge was reading the verdict shame on him the jurors decide not him.
I hope they file a civil lawsuit so that he cannot afford an appeal.
"Columbus police misconduct costs rising, many cases still pending." ~Matters News, Sep. 2, 2021.
Prosecute who called in the suspicious vehicle complaint.
The police union shouldn't be anywhere near this trial. Unions should be able to bargain with their employer for better pay and conditions. Being convicted of a crime does not fall under your working conditions. Union representatives who get involved with the criminal trials of union members should also be charged with a crime, in my opinion. You wouldn't tolerate a teacher's union showing up to a trial for a teacher who did reprehensible things to children, so why should murderer cops get union support?
Good thing I don't live in the US.
