Conventional vehicles utilize petroleum-derived fuels to provide good performance and long-range. But conventional vehicles having certain disadvantages such as low fuel economy and exhaust gas emission causing environmental pollution. So, to overcome these disadvantages, electric vehicle technology is useful. In this blog, the modeling of the electric vehicle has been discussed. Real key parameters have been considered to create an optimized model. We examined the electric vehicle's optimal performance by comparing the vehicle's actual speed and input drive speed. The electric vehicle's energy consumption value is compared based on the battery's initial and final charging. The effect of different parameters on vehicle performance and energy consumption has been examined.

Hello Can I ask ,I am a student and I made a simulation of solar powered vehicle using a PV array, Boost converter and DC motor. But the simulation result were wrong, that it gave a high amount of the output current as also the torque even though that the curve of speed is correct. Can you advice me what should I change!

the distance which you got after simulation that is 13.84 is this distance travelled by vehicle in 1000 secs or the total distance of the vehicle in single charge of battery

I dont know if this is still relevant, but you can decrease the nominal voltage to default (I tried 7.2) to solve the error.

What are you solver configurations? Using ode23t and trying to run the model it immediatly goes up to 62% then 0.5 sec/% till 100%, how can i speed up it?

I created the Simulink model, but it shows one error 'Exponential zone voltage must be greater than Nominal Voltage' while trying to run it. Another issue is there in my MATLAB version in Longitudinal driver I can't change the unit to km/hr, it's just showing Nominal speed Controller values, etc.
