The first time I heard a yidaki was back in the 80's it was a backing instrument to Midnight Oil, so from there the chase was on to discover more. I ended up in the 90's becoming aware of Yothu Yindi, importing what I could. Though with the internet especially in the past few years I've come across many talented musicians. Ive crtainly not come across a talant like Dann Flynn before.
Amazing didge playing. So interesting for me to hear great players and how they use their body to create their sound. Mainly dyafragm articulations. Uses mainly the wobble as pulling sound. Connection is mostly strong. Excellent control of the "frog" pull sound
very cool Dan ! only at Anyuta but it feels like the start was quite dry and getting more and more effects, did you tuned the trumpet sounds in post prod ?
