I knew that I was drawn to Sturt Whitman but I never could figure out why but now I know. It’s the family resemblance. I’m 3/4th English and 1/4th American Indian. Dad named me Winona which is Souix American for first-born daughter, although my dad had 3 daughters by a different woman before I was born. So technically I was the first born daughter of he and my mother. Then he married again and had another daughter. She was 7 years younger than me. My dad had 2 boys and 5 daughters. My older brother and I are the only ones still alive. I’m 78 years old and my brother is 95 or 96. His wife is a year or two older than he is and she’s still living too. He still has his pilot’s license and owns his own air plane ✈️. 😊
The Deep Roots of "Woke" Not terribly unexpected; indeed, rather predictable in this early anti-White fable, almost entirely crewed by members of the Hollywood tribe, wherein the role of sacrificial messiah is assigned to the "noble savage."
The grandpa was actor Joseph Calleia, born in Malta, Mediterranean, great actor who has also played a Mexican, I am biracial: Mexican & Native American and I always think why they could not find a Native American to play the part of the old guy? I like Stuart Whitman too.
You can't blame them for that. We didn't have enough bankable TV actors who were real Indians. We would have needed 100 of them to fill all the Indian roles in the thousands of western shows constantly being produced. That's how it was then. Today it would be considered racist to restrict an acting role to one particular race, or to even restrict a role to a particular sex. If a woman want's to play a man's part we must let them do it and vice versa. Otherwise our whole production company will be shut down and all our previous shows cancelled.
Another masterful story by Rod Serling. He was televisions greatest writer. Powerful.
Thanks for sharing great drama. Time well spent. Great channel.
Great acting by skilled actors
Incredible film. Thank you.

But Whitman doesn't seem to have had any Amerindian ancestry, although he did belong to the Hollywood tribe!
He was Jewish. Loved his voice and looks.
That's such an interesting story! I admire your brother for being so fit at this great age.
Wishing you lots of happiness and good health.❤
Stuart Whitman was Jewish on both sides.
💕👍
3:11, Stuart Whitman makes a snide remark.
In the intro, the sundial does not cast a discernible shadow. Why was that overlooked?
Because it was 12o'clock or the sun wasn't clearly visible for the sundial to work.😊
It says Rod Serling Wrote this
Wow. Indian land and oil.
42:00, an unexpected ending.

@@adamnoman4658business as usual: a child of abraham cannot do evil, saved by a sacrifice….🎪
11:05, the bartender made it sound like its a $100 bill!
$10 in 1963 = $97.63 in 2023. It was close to it.
Stuart Whitman as a Native American??? Yikes 😫. Some of these old shows do NOT age well 😬 😅

Stuart did a great job in this role just like all his roles.
Wrong
