day 1- i struggled a little with the first 15 seconds
day 2- i can play the first 15 seconds fluently !!
day 3- got sick so stopped playing for a bit, will continue tomorrow!
day 4- i’m struggling sm with the 15 til 20 seconds but we’re getting there
day 5- had to work the entire day
day 6- same as day 5
day 7- i can actually play until 20 seconds now !! and i’m trying to learn it until 30 seconds :)
day 8- i ended up in the hospital🧍🏼
day 13- i can play the first minute :)

I want to enjoy every moment of my life, forget about what was before and just go further, but I know that unfortunately it is not possible, but it's worth dreaming, right?

Trust me, this song is hard, coordinating both hands is a hard task but it is worth it! This song sounds incredible on the piano 🎹 I have played it many times and got many compliments! Top tip: learn each hands separately and add them to gether by playing slowly and slowly speeding up, find the points where notes in each hand go together. Good luck! ❤️

i’ll be updating with my progress:)
(note it’s my first time playing the piano)
day1: played for a few hours!! managed to learn it while watching and play in speed 0.2x
day2: played for 2-3 hours:) managed to play it in speed 0.3x! i make a few mistakes here and there so I’m still gonna play maybe 1 or 2 times to practice!
day3: im playing in 0.5! still practicing cuz its a bit hard ill update soon! i can play in normal speed on both hands but separately
day4: just woke up and magically I can play in 0.5x speed!! learning 0.75x speed rn:)
day5 after a week break: still playing in 0.75x speed
day6 after a week break: playing in normal speed!
day7: I DID IT

Day 1: Tried the left and right hand; getting comfortable
Day 2: I can play the first 10 seconds with the pedal
Day 3: Felt confident and left the pedal out; I can play the first 15 seconds without the pedal now :)
Day 4: Can now play till the end with both hands separate (played the whole day)
Day 5: Didn’t play much, but can play the first 20 seconds with both hands together now!!

hour one: can do 17 seconds of chords fluently and then up to thirty in slower speeds and am picking up/learning hand placements for normal notes!
day two:
i can now play all the chords all the way through and the notes at 75% speed and full speed sometimes. i am struggling a lot to put it together though :(

The way I do it is learn my right hand first then my left and then slowly but surely add them both together:)

Ive been playing piano for practically 10 years now so this only took me a few mins to learn based off of what i was hearing! But i really wasn't sure if i was playing how the composer wrote it so this gave me a bit of an idea, i cant sight read but i play by ear!, ive added a few notes to make the changes sound more full but overall amazing cover!

I started learning this back in September last year and I am almost done! I just need to learn how to play both hands on a little bit towards the end but I know both bits by themselves! My school is having a talent show in a few months and I’m hoping I will get to play this. I’m a self taught and I love to show my skills to my friends and family
Edit:I’ve finally finished the song! And I’m most likely going to play it in front of my whole school!
Edit 2:my school talent show is on the 18th of march so my next update will probably be then, I have improved a lot and I’m fluent in both hands now

My son hasn't got any arms so he played this with his face, every day I thank Jesus for giving us this song and taking away his arms (when he was born they were shit). We had many struggles in the beginning, the doctors said it would be better to amputate, but we wouldn't agree because we didn't know what 'amputate' meant, and we wanted him to be a brilliant musician like his brilliant father, and for that you are going to need arms, we thought maybe as he grew he might grow new arms and the old ones would go away the same way old leaves fall off a bad tree, but eventually we realised he was always going to be a basket case, little more than a useless bag of meat and hair, I must be honest we'd given up on him, we kept him in a box next to the kitchen door and would drop food through a little hole on the side, we could hear him munching in there, but never really paid much attention to him, but on his third birthday we bought him a grand piano just in case he was a brilliant musician like his brilliant father, we brought his box over to the piano and poured him out onto it, he immediately started to play the hip hop classic 'fcuk the police' with his teeth, it was amazing, we didn't even know he know new song.

Just a tip guys, if you find it hard to keep up, you could slow down the video !!! Settings (next to cc) > playback speed > choose speed :) 💕. Remember to start off nice and slow, don’t beat yourself up about messing up!! Take about 20+ min a day to practise. YOU CAN DO THIS.

To get started, I suggest you first work on the left hand, then time it right. Once you get the hang of it, add the right hand slowly. You can work in the right hand alone too. This may take a while but it’s worth it. If you want you can also start with right hand first. After you get the hang of each hand, slowly add them together!
Edit: I’m hearing pedal too, so add pedal throughout. I’ll be practicing this song for a little talent show at my school. Also as you can see on the left hand there is a pattern, this should be easy to figure out if you have been practicing piano for a while

started learning this today! i saw someone else do daily updates so i’ll do that too!
day 1: i started off by just learning the key signature. now i’m working on the left hand (it’s my weaker side so i’m starting with that first).
day 2: i got the left hand down! i started on the right and and i’m slowly working on memorization. i have the first 30 seconds (estimate) down, but i’m still working on both parts separately.
day 3: i started working on both parts together. i’m going by 15 seconds of each part of the video. i start with the left hand, combine, right hand, combine (to continue with memorization). i set the playback speed to 0.25x, the speed it up as my confidence and ability to play fluently increases.

day one : 0:00-0:15
day two : 0:15-0:30
day three : 0:30-0:45
day four : 0:45-1:00
day five : 1:00-1:15
day six : 1:15-1:30

hello! you’re already in a really good place because you can do the two hands separately, so congratulations on that! i recommend that you slow the video down and do one hand, then slowly start to incorporate the other hand. it will be a learning curve but once you are able to do it you won’t forget it! good luck

I'd start by only doing small sections hands together then carry on once you have it done well

edit: Guys i spent 3 Days and totally 10 hours and i can play it fluently ( sometimes doing some mistakes ofcourse). The hardest part was using two hands at the same times. but after 8 hours practice, i fiinally made it and after 10 hours it was easy. i just want tı say keep practice and you can do it too ! day 2: I can play the first 15 sec with right and left hand (not very fluent but still)
day 3: I can play the first 15 sec fluent and i am trying the next part
day 4: I tried the next part but failed
day 5: i can play the next part better but not perfect
day 6: I CAN PLAY IT (first 20sec)
day 7: trying the other part but failed
day 8: i can play the other part
got my keyboard yesterday and have started trying to play this think it’s going to be a bit out of my range but I will keep at it and update you guys
