this really slaps. i like that, rather than trying to recapture the original, this song borrows enough from the original version to develop its own sound and identity. i enjoy both versions for different reasons and that's awesome; neither outshines the other. that should be the goal with a remix tbh.

In this case, I got covid, which weakened my immune system enough that something else could infect my ears at the same time. I had covid AND an ear infection simultaneously, and a day or two after I made this comment I was given a fun mix of paxlovid and azythromycin to take because I was right.
