The road the Jomson no doubt has improved the lives of people in the valley, but a little bit of me is sad to see it. I some grateful I did the annapurna circuit beforenit was built. Another great video guys. I need another Nepal visit.

That lete village is like heaven. Went last month to muktinath only.. I wanna see road to upper mustang and border. I am planning to go next month there.

Yes you can! But if it rains too much, monsoon is arriving soon... it can be difficult. But if the road condition doesn't deteriorate then no worries!
Thanks. I gather that the Mustang area is a rain shadow region, much like Ladakh in India. So that shouldn’t be a worry. It’s just the road between Pokhara to Jomsom that worries me. Maybe I’ll check once more later in June if you don’t mind?
@@suvolens Yes that is true. The road from Pokhara to Jomsom is also fine but thereare some section at Beni, Rupse Waterfall and Marpha riverside which can be difficult during rainy seasons. Otherwise it is a pleasant drive.

Thanks. Yes a car is advisable but consider ground clearance during off-road section.

I am 68 years old. Three years back my left knee has been replaced. Can I go to Muktinath in coming October. Can we go there by Bus. We are 6 members family. What is the charges of Jeep/ Car from Pokhara to Muktinath &back?In which month did you visit Muktinatha.

You are most welcome. The road condition is fine. The Rupse fall section is offroad section and will need a 4WD.
Back in 2019, since the roads were really bad we had to leave our car behind and hire a 4*4 from Pokhara . Looks like the roads have improved since then but still wondering if the drive can be done on a normal 2 wd.
The road as mentioned in the video at the Rupse falls is under construction and difficult terrain so for that section a 4wd is needed. If you are planning for upper mustang, then 4wd is recommend. If you have a 2wd then a vehicle with better ground clearance is recommend and ride during the dry season.

It is good, torque can be better but it is a very reliable car.
