Did you know that Warped and Crimson planks are the only planks that can't be mixed with other types of planks to make wooden items that don't have variants? They can't even be mixed with each other
hi, I put a lot of time into my videos and I'd appreciate it if y'all took a look :)
Yeah I knew that.
Yes
I did not

In my opinion, the gears that were excluded from the game should become some sort of Redstone signal that can only go on walls, giving us a really easy way to transport signals upwards. The crafting recipe could be a restone upgrade, with one piece of Redstone in the center, and then multiple iron ingots surrounding it. And I bet everyone would be ecstatic if it was actually added, especially profesional redstoners.
hi, I put a lot of time into my videos and I'd appreciate it if y'all took a look :)
There is already a way to have "vertical redstone"
@Thomas22 no you’re not
@@darklord4430 this block would make it much easier to make, as well as more efficient and compact
@@garlicbruh7250 nah you can just use pistons and leaves
About the "Infinite lava source" thing, I double checked the book and in the context of the page I think they mean that if you do that in the air you will get a lava stream.
I'll test it
@Blazer 123 he said that right after in the video...
For the underwater tnt one, sand tends to have a lot of salt in it, so you're still adding sodium either way
Underwater TNT contains sodium in other form
salt has chlorine and sodium
I think I got far more joy than I should have when I heard WadZee mentioned in the netherite beacon fact
Wadzee is one of my favorite youtubers.

Dude nobody else is appreciating how smooth the netherite to gold sword transition was (from the netherite part with the piglins)
4:37 We‘ll be right back
The piglins switched from netherite to gold because the amount of diamonds in the nether is near zero. And in order to make netherite gear you need diamond gear.
couldnt the piglins loot the fortress chests?
That doesnt make sense if it was already in pure netherite they wouldnt need diamonds
Pure netherite wouldn't need diamonds, we only need diamonds because the current netherite isn't pure.
Good is more shiny and flex-ble
@@definitelymdt you're exactly right
Having one of every block and item in Minecraft is a huge flex
This is probably the only Skip The Tutorial vid that I've laughed at the intro. Keep up the good work!
Fun fact: if you ring a bell during a raid, the raiders will get the glowing effect
thats true.
*cries in bedrock*
The exploding beds also ended up being an effective way of mining for Ancient Debris in the Nether. After all, making a bed in Minecraft is cheaper than making TNT... but you should have either fire protection on your armor, fire resist potions, or both. Don't worry about blast protection because if you mine a one block wide hole into a wall, place the bed, and then use it you will take next to zero damage from the blast.
Really ok
protection is the only good protection every other protection is useless
If you stand 5 blocks away and put one block of obsidian between you and the bed you take basically no damage
@@eggs8021 you dont need to use obsidian. Any block works
Also, careful doing this under a lava lake... trust me, I learned that the hard way

Pro tip :- If you want to stop any zombie from despawning but you don't have any nametag, you can give zombie anything which he can hold in his hand like any block, tool, armour piece, etc thing in Minecraft .

Good to know! Thanks m8.
If netherite stairs were in the "Missing Dimension", that could be referencing the dream dimension that Skip talked about in a separate video. The dream dimension was a dimension Notch began making but never finished. When going to sleep you would randomly wake up in the dream dimension, but Notch scrapped it and may not ever finish it.
the dream dimension would've resembled the aether mod and im pretty sure it was called the skylands, but sadly it was replaced with the end and also apparently jeb does not like such dimension, which is why we 'll prolly never get it
Hi
The missing dimension was a part of snapshot 20w14infinte and in there you could write a book and throw it into a nether portal to make a dimension. There were infinite dimensions. Hints the name "infinite".
if the dream dimension was a thing I would not play minecraft after how annoying that would prob get
No, the dimension was part of the April fools "infinite" update. If you named a book "Missing" and tossed it into the nether portal, you'd then be able to go into the portal and go to the "Missing" dimension.
For the naming of "silver", in the texture pack for 1.8 the file name for light gray wool is named silver as well.
5:02 that's because the light block had this texture in bedrock edition before it was in java, and then the texture was changed on bedrock too.
I had an emulator for Minecraft on my PSP a while back, and you scrolled up or down D-pad through inventory through your item bar. Some 'tabs' didn't have blocks going all the way across. If you went to a blank square, it may have an odd textured block, and if placed, cannot be deleted whatsoever. Seeing the invisible bedrock blocks reminded me if just that
Finally someone talking about the netherite stairs
@Don't read profile photo Don't comment ever again..............
Kittens
@Andusen it was nickname the infinite update it was for April fools but I think it is 20wa∞(< Infinity sign) or it just says infinite i don't remember
@Don't read profile photo Don't grow a pair...
Block facts already talked about it, maybe it was skip.. I don't really remember.
Skip's videos make me wanna play Minecraft. Not to actually play the game but to build an awesome lookin house.
Thanks Skip the Tutorial for making this video. Fun Fact about the swaggy stairs is that you can make netherite stairs with ingots, And according to the April fools snapshot, that's intentinal.
0:10 actually, I have used my nose before this
Don’t normally love Minecraft channels but your channel is just in another level!
@Don't read profile photo No, I will
Ok I won’t
@Don't read profile photo I read it too
@Don't read profile photo oh god not again
They've just skipped the tutorial
Another fun old minecraft fact
During the survivaltest phase in 2009, cobblestone was obtained by mining stone with your bare hand, and smooth stone slabs were obtained by punching coal ore
It funny as the underwater tnt still technically has the same crafting recipe in both education and mainline games just the sodium is in the form of sand
For the door one, some doors in real life do have 3 hinges, and it's quite common in places like America.
All my doors have 3 hinges
The problem isn't the amount on the side of a door, it's the fact that hinges are on both sides. ( Sorry in advance if you knew this and were just pointing something out about doors! )
@@annathecat7679 Oh, I thought it was the number of hinges because of how it was worded, thanks for pointing that out.
Doors with hinges on both sides to swing both ways do exist though, they have a spring built in to close automatically.
Mine have 4
The leaves turning snowy are probably my favorite bedrock only feature

the nether woods arent the only blocks in the game with an animation. Prismarine changes colours, the lantern has a slight pulsing affest, and the shroomlight pulses slightly aswell
I believe he specified they were the only wood block.
The official Minecraft guidebooks are the sacred texts for any beginner Minecraft player.
0:46 please note: there was no world beyond the world boarder, only the empty void of invisible barrier blocks.
Fun fact, despite not having hit box, you could place ladders on it.
Fun fact 2: they broke this on the release of PE 1.0.0 (2017) when going above the build height and trying to pass the barrier, made you inevitably stuck in position.
Hey! Did you know God is three in one!? The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit! Bless him!
Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead, and gives salvation to everyone who has faith in him! True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better!
Have a blessed day, everyone! ❤
Your worries (yes, anxiety), depression, suicidal thoughts, EVERYTHING will melt away and be NO MORE when you lean on God and put your trust in him! When I have physical pain, I literally pray and the Lord quells it, that I am healed!
Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! People are bothered by his name. The world hates the truth and wants to continue living sinfully! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous.
the end of the map is a "border". a "boarder" is someone who doesn't go grocery shopping because they get food from the place they live.
@@hhprincess647 finally something on the topic!
@@Call_Upon_YAH this is not the place to talk about christianity

What about villages? The church where the clerics have a brewing stand.
The brewing stands in the temples of villages were added in 1.14, way after igloos
According to gametheroy he says that their enemies where the ancient builders so they used the netherite to help fortify their bastions but it all basically got lost in the war.
I love the torch burning out because it’s more realistic
5:17 maybe the hinges are supposed to like be links for double doors?
We already had infinite lava soruces. They worked like endless water, but had to be placed in the Nether. This was due to the lava physics using water physics in the Nether.

Fun fact: reinforced deepslate is breakable. It is the strongest breakable block in minecraft *BY FAR*
technically there are 149 quadrillion of patterns that looks different, because if there are 6 ways to put the patterns on the banner that means that there are 6 ways to create the same pattern, so divide 809 by 6 and will give 148,6.

Oh my god I remember that!! I think they patched it in updates leading up to 1.13, but I remember playing on my Legacy worlds and watching a spider crawl the invisible wall- I remember climbing over it once, lol
hi, I put a lot of time into my videos and I'd appreciate it if y'all took a look :)
Spiders can still climb the world border on Java i think, even though it's not made of blocks anymore
I remember doing that too! Ah the old days

Wtf I’m trans and my name is ashe too. Ima sus for copyright infringement ;))
So much stuff I didn’t know… thank you!!!
A ton of minecart TNT at once can also destroy obsidian, but it becomes really glitchy.
The sea lantern is actually slightly animated in bed rock edition making the neither wood not the only block being animated :)
Same with prismarine blocks.
He said the only LOGS in the game to have an animation. I know I thought that at first too, but no; he was careful with his words. Still very insightful information, and I'm sure others were thinking the same. Have a nice day
@@cometcat3808 i immediatley knew he was talking about logs. Anyways here is a random thing; These are all the animated blocks in minecraft i know. sea lanters prismarine lanters (soul lantern and normal lantern) crimson and warped logs magma blocks and i think thats it.
It's animated in Java as well.
@@randombloxydude3696 nether portal
Everytime I watch a new video and I always find it interesting! I love these!
I now what you mean
0:30 you can just use like around 10 end crystals to destroy it
fun fact, the running on ice with trapdoors in the nether in about 331 miles per hour, as one in-game block is equal to one irl meter
6:12 that's false. 2*16+2*14=60 You will have 4 walls left after doing that.
0_0
its 4*16, all 4 sides of a chunk are 16 blocks wide
@@pranav522 no, the corner don't need 2 walls.
You wouldn’t be able to craft 4 walls out of the remaining 4 cobblestones from the initial stack, tho.
Did you know there's a Minecraft version (I forgot what it was) you can die from landing on a 1 block height of water, yes, even when you do the MLG Water Bucket you can still die. I don't know if Mojang nerfed the MLG Water Bucket or it was just a bug, but after a couple of days Mojang reverted it back.
on pocket edition this was the case
Up until 1.4 water had to be I believe four blocks deep to negate all fall damage.
1.4 made it so any water at all works. I'm certainly glad that change was made!
funfact: the mangrove wood strip thingys were able to bring water to the nether except they fixed that
an alternate title would be: a solid 12 minutes of useless minecraft information
2:57 Acacia has composters!!
Why is this so entertaining it’s so good keep it up
I never realised that desert temples changed to terracotta from wool
U could still get wool in the desert by finding string in the desert temple chests then crafting it into wool

I own that book...
THAT TRICK IS NOT IN IT!
Anytime you post I *have* to watch it! Your videos are amazing and very helpful
So True
@DipperPinesYT DIPPER?!?
man really snuck in the "up to one thousand people in the charity part"
Thanks for the info, I like the new info I learned! Especially since it’s 1:54 am
The false lava source trick was likely a mistake since you can find a similar thing in the Nether fortress.
1:23 I have to admit, the hexagon ball beakon is cooler than the one in game
I agree
Imagine spending so much time gathering netherite and storing it in a chest, only for your friend to troll you and craft it into stairs
i would assume that the piglins didn’t intentionally move to gold, but instead had the impure netherite DEBRIS chip off over time
4:19 this was also in the game until 1.8 not just 1.3
7:53 in bedrock addition (and maybe java idk) sea lanterns have a small animation cycle, however it is hard to see and you have 5o be next to it to notice.
Bro prismarine block, is animated too, so even if that's a "light source block", prismarine is simply a building block
He was talking about logs
Prismarine has a litte colour change over time, so when you make timelapses you can notice it very easily
Sea lantern is not wood.
5:20
Because depending how you place it .
It can open either way
10:43 quartz should have a higher blast resistance considering I’m real like it is a very tough mineral

I remember playing the earliest version of mcpe with the "old" seed option when creating new worlds. My cousin and I always play together everyday in mcpe, just discovering or doing some dumb stuff in the game when my cousin found out a way over the invisible bedrock a.k.a the border. We were so amazed, I remember how confused I was when my cousin showed me that secret. I miss the good old days.
7:02 , laughs in bedrock.
the debris is ancient so the piglins netherite tools must have eventually broken

4:38 OH NO HE JUST FELL RIGHT ONTO THE PRESSURE PLATE
ah the memories, I used to make that mistake when I was younger and I hated how the tnt explosion destroys all the loot
10:02 block update suppression is still possible though it is complicated
Theoretically it would also be possible to get wool in a desert by crafting it with string

'But sadly Acacia is left out.'
-sad jungle log sounds-
9:55 Actually block update suppresion is still possible, and its op.
2:21 sure they may not turn white instantly but if you go far enough with a riptide trident and an elytra then you can find it when spawning

"The swaggiest stairs ever can only be found in the missing dimension"
This got me thinking... What if that deep dark portal was meant for the missing dimension? Probably not but still, It would make a lot of sense
but why would it be for that dimension? the missing dimension is a dimension in a snapshot that was made for april fools

They have sticks or whatever how did they make gold tools
BRO pure netherite is PURE, IT WOULDNT NEED DIAMONDS MIXED WITH IT

Ngl beacons would looked sick with the moving crystal inside them, though that was scrapped because unfortunately it caused lag

8:39 - piglings switched from netherite to gold cuz they ran out of netherite and gold was a more common resource?
0:37 its a block that is in the void and if you go below it you will fall forever
Heads up to anyone wondering. The music used is the fishing tourney music in Animal Crossing which I heard yesterday
11:46 I was about to do this, you’ve caught me!
11:32 i am gonna make mojang broke💀
4:30 how tf did I never actually notice that 🤦 I remember it being wool and these days just “eh desert temple” I noticed a texture change but never truly looked and thought “oh it’s terracotta” lol
5:35 You can actually go quite faster than that.
If you use the trapdoors correctly (which needs you to press space every 0.1s), you can go around 1.22 blocks/gametick, which is 24.4 m/s.
With speed II and "45 strafes" (only doable with a TAS of some sort), you can go up to 25.56 m/s!
Edit1: If you use a normal ceiling instead of the trapdoor ceiling (like in the video), you go up to 18m/s, not 18.5m/s.
Edit2: with the 25.56m/s speed, you can do a 10.1875 block jump (10 block jump and 3 pixels farther).
Wha.....
What if you use a boat instead
Ik you use your legs
@@darkshadow2314 I mean you could use depth strider III, swim in water, speed II and with dolphin's effect. Idk how the boat's code works.
