Welcome to another fun and easy watercolor tutorial for beginners! In this video, I'll show you how to paint an adorable little mouse holding a vibrant autumn leaf. Whether you're new to watercolor or just want to try something cute and cozy, this tutorial is for you✨
Materials used:
✅Shinhan Professional Watercolor Paint 48-Color Set
✅Brushes: Round size 7
✅Watercolor paper: Cold-pressed, 300gsm
Color and Mix Guide (Using Shinhan Professional Watercolor Paint 7.5ml Tube 48 Color Set):
🍁Mouse Fur:
Base Grey: Mix Payne’s Grey with a touch of Cerulean Blue to create a soft grey base color for the mouse.
Shadows and Depth: Add more Payne’s Grey to deepen the shadows, especially around the fur edges.
Highlights: Dilute the mixture with water for lighter areas, like the underbelly and face.
🍁Ears, Tail, and Feet:
Base Pink: Shell Pink.
Shading: Add a touch of Red Ocher to create shadows within the ears and tail.
🍁Eye:
Base Black: Use Black for the dark pupil.
Highlight: Leave a small white area for the reflective shine in the eye.
Iris: Raw Umber for the warm brown iris.
🍁Autumn Leaves:
Base Orange: Yellow Ocher
Shadows: Add Burnt Sienna for the veins and shadows of the leaf.
🍁Ground:
Base Brown: Burnt Umber
Shadows: Add more Burnt Umber to darken the areas where the mouse stands.
